Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tivives beach

This was a great place for a medium size group to spend the night near the airport before venturing to other parts of Costa Rica. The listing was as described. The area is safe, easy to find, and the host was attentive and responsive to all our needs. Gracias!

By far the best service we’ve had with an Airbnb! felipe was so responsive and thoughtful. The house’s view was AMAZING, and we immediately warmed up the hot tub and had a sunset plunge over looking the city. The kitchen was PERFECT! It was equipped with everything you needed, and the laundry and tv and A/C’s all worked great! We loved being able to walk to the nearby restaurant and the layout was perfect for our big group. It felt like a HOME, and we felt so taken care of while we were there. We even hired a babysitter through Felipe for our toddler and she was the best babysitter we’ve ever had! Thank you Stephen & Felipe!

Our stay was very inspiring and with lot of creative energy. We stayed at two of the houses because the first one was a bit too small since we travel for months and had a lot of luggage. Both places had a lot of perfect imperfections, with the most stunning views through out the day. We saw small monkeys, giant leguans, raccoons and heard howler monkeys. We enjoyed this place a lot and we will never forget our time here. Peter was so welcoming and very communicative and helpful with everything.

Condominium is pretty good size. The swimming pools are great.

Stay was pretty awesome. It’s a peaceful place. Weekend nights brings a party crowd but outside of that it’s super relaxed feel. Layout of the home is very appealing. Beautiful views. Loved the pool. Close proximity to grocery stores and coffee shops. There is also a neat Polish restaurant minutes away from the home which is a meeting place for some Canadians who have moved to CR. We enjoyed talking with them and getting their take on Atenas. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Charlie and Gloria’s place

Wanderlust was absolutely amazing! Just like the pictures and just as I imagined. I celebrated my 45th birthday weekend with six girlfriends. When planning this birthday trip I knew I wanted a jungle paradise experience and Jai delivered. The villa was safe, clean and had all the amenities mentioned in the description. Jai was a prompt and attentive host. The concierge service she provided gave endless recommendations for restaurants, entertainment and experiences. Although our trip wasn’t long, we were able to fit a day of excursions and a day of relaxation without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. We hiked, zip lined, toured, got massages in the garden and had a yoga class. Our last night a private chef prepared dinner and we had a surprise fire show! 🔥 I highly recommended allowing Jai to curate your vacation at Villa Wanderlust. Pura Vida!! ❤️

It was my first time in Costa Rica and it was a great experience. The condo was very clean and spacious. We were comfortable as if we were home. Everyone was so polite and helpful if needed. If I ever go back I’ll definitely stay here again

The house was beautifully decorated with many ammenities such as laundry, rice cooker, etc. the free bottled water and snacks was a nice touch.

Rosana’s place is a hidden gem north of Jaco! We needed a place to stay close to San Jose for our last night in Costa Rica and we were blown away by the place we found. We really wish we could’ve stayed longer. Her home was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. It’s conveniently located to Jaco and Carara National Park. The ocean, valley and mountain views from the private decks were beyond outstanding. It was a very short walk to a local beach. If you like to bird watch, this is the place to stay! The morning visit from the scarlet macaws in the trees above the rooftop deck was the best way to end our trip! Rosana was a great host. She was very responsive and took great care communicating everything we needed to know to find her place.

We had an amazing time. The view was spectacular, and we were very close to the volcano and other attractions. Minie, the property dog, was the sweetest and kept us company. 10/10 recommend

This is such a beautiful location, only steps from the beach out the front door (or to the small pool in the back). It truly felt like a private beach, as we saw almost no one else on the beach except for our friendly neighbors in the other two houses. Jefferson (the on-site host) was so kind and responsive, making it feel more like a mini-resort, as we were able to order meals or drinks when desired. The nearest town is about a 15 minute drive away, though there are a couple closer restaurants within a 10 minute drive. But once you arrive, you really won't want to leave, as it truly feels like paradise!

Excellent for a longer term stay. Roomy and comfortable. Fantastic view and many good restaurants close by. Host was very responsive. The best WIFI I have had in CR.

Absolutely incredible place to stay for a honeymoon :) we were there for just over a week, and we really loved our little home base. Jan was so helpful with recommendations and even booked our reservation for Manuel Antonio with her Costa Rican debit card since we couldn't do it ourselves. With as helpful as she was, she also gave us total privacy and communicated very effectively with us. I know the person before us mentioned insect issues, but we had no complaints whatsoever and were there for an extended period of time. We were able to see hummingbirds, scarlet macaws, lizards, and other varieties of birds which made just sitting by the pool a fun experience. The shading was perfect for the pool too. You could decide if you wanted to sit in the shade or the sun depending how you feel. The AC cools down the bedroom very fast when arriving home. The private driveway is convenient too. We loved our stay so much! We would certainly consider coming back if in town!

As a group of 8 adults and 2 children this place definately met our expectations. With 4 air conditioned bedrooms we were all quite comfortable, one adult slept in the upstairs loft with only fans and it was a bit warm but this was all part of the description so no fault of Eugenia's. The location is beautiful quiet and has some fun tours just a ten minute walk away. Waterfalls, a chocolate tour and a quaint little restaurant that is definately unique and very local a fantastic Costa Rica experience. A super nice surprise was that there was a provided breakfast every morning next door at the hotel with everything you could want for a breakfast and super friendly staff there to help and answer any questions as well as help provide advise and help with tours and transportation. Because we like to travel around we probably won't be returning but if we were we would not hesitate to again book with Eugenia. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Matthew and his team were phenomenal. The house was also great and matches the description. Our stay was private and peaceful. A beautiful quiet location but still only a 5 minute drive to downtown Jaco. For the price I don’t believe there is a better choice. Plenty of towels, hot water and the air conditioning worked well. Some of us needed to access emails etc. the wifi worked well and the speeds were fine as well. The living room and master bedroom have tv’s. The pool vibes were awesome while drinking a cold beer looking at the surrounding mountain ranges. They made the transportation very easy for us to and from the airport. We also had a rental car waiting for us when we arrived to the house for a reasonable price. Go book this place you wont regret it. Pura Vida!

Beautiful place… everything clean and the house is very big, all what you need is in there. The rooftop view was exceptional to view the sky in the night is awesome. highly recommended for someone looking for luxury.

Our 7-night stay could not have gone any better. The pictures don't do it justice. It's actually more beautiful than pictured with a stunning pool area, perfect layout of the bedrooms, and well stocked with everything we could need. Antonio and Anna were helpful and efficient.
