Really enjoyed holiday get away . Place was located near water with great views. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood was quaint. The town was was pretty with water on each side with the Christmas lights at night . We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay . Would definitely book again

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday week at this home which was one of the more spacious homes we’ve stayed at in Cape Charles. Maria was extremely responsive and helpful. Our grandkids especially enjoyed the kids toys and books and we had fun with the wall scrabble game.

Chris and Jen’s home was a perfect getaway for our girls weekend to Colonial Beach! The photos don’t do the place justice of how cozy and comfortable it is. We all raved about the comfort of the beds and the front porch was our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring the town. We were able to walk to town from the house for coffee and shopping which was a nice bonus. Chris and Jen were flexible with our check in time which we very much appreciate. We will be back to CoBe!

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

Great place! Exactly as described and reasonable pricing. Walkable distance to beach and bars/restaurants in Cape Charles. Very cozy and comfortable. Great hosts as well.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication from owner. House was clean. Proximity to the ocean was fantastic. Great views and we really enjoyed shark tooth hunting. As stated in the listing, trash had to be taken to a nearby facility. Very easy (and free) process. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

This historical home is beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities you need. The house was spotless when we arrived. It is in an excellent location-walking distance to everything. The furniture was comfortable and there is plenty of room to gather. The backyard fireplace is perfect!

I'm so glad we chose this location. it wasn't far from everything we wanted, but still felt private and peaceful. it was the relaxing spot we needed!
