Villa holiday rentals in Ticino

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Petraglio. The village is quaint, the house is spacious and well stocked and the view was breathtaking. We loved our base for the week. The kids had a football pitch and little playground 2 mins walk away, the village shop provided any necessities (incl local beer) and we had great living, diving and cooking spaces with spacious, rooms and comfortable beds. Etienne and Chantal were very helpful and it was a shame we had to leave before the village party started (someone knocked on our door to invite us to join them!). We had young children and grandparents and I can highly recommend a family holiday here - I wish we had more time there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lance’s home. The place is beautiful and we enjoyed opening the windows and the views of Lake Lugano. We had a little trouble navigating the bus (you need bus 532 and the stop is Via Poiana). We did wish we’d had a rental car because it was not very walkable once you get outside of Riva S Vitale. We did do a couple of walking trips into town but there is no sidewalk on either side of the road which is quite busy at times. We enjoyed the paddleboards that were available (no life jackets). The beds were very comfortable but the street noise right outside of the home was loud at times. Nothing some ear plugs couldn’t alleviate for the lighter sleepers in our party. Lance was very helpful with ideas to enjoy the locale, very responsive to messages, and communicated in English very well. The only complaint we had was the lack of sidewalks to town (Riva) and the bus/fare schedule and purchase process. The SBB app is a good tool. We’d gladly stay again!

Very nice house. Top location. Top view of the mountains. Magdalena was very responsive to requests. Lots of gardening around it. That's why sometimes lawn mower Noise. The road traffic further down can be heard in the morning. Nevertheless, it is then idyllically quiet in the evening and you have the evening seating area absolutely to yourselves. All in all, a great house with wonderful excursions into the surrounding area

The host Patrick was responding in a clear and timely manner. The check in / check out process was easy. The house was very clean, well prepared, comfortable and organized in an efficient manner. The bathrooms were clean with enough towels & toilet paper. The kitchen had the necessary dishes, glasses, plates & appliances. The showers and toilets were modern and operated appropriately. The beds were clean and comfortable. The decorations, paintings & books were quaint, artistic and enlightening. The lake view is stunning and engaging. The yard is peaceful and serene with beautiful gardens, plants and trees. A local cat stopped by for a friendly visit. The lake, pool & restaurants located at the bottom of the mountain were very enjoyable. The nearby markets had anything we needed. Everything with our stay was excellent. This property and hosts are highly recommended.

Perfect private home with 3 bedrooms, private garden and car parking

Great, extremely clean and nicely decorated place with amazing views of Lake Lugano and a wonderful garden. Daniela and Peter were super friendly, always available and extremely helpful. We shared the garden with the permanent tenant on the ground floor, who has a dog like us. This turned out to be not ideal for us, as our 10-month-old dog usually remained leashed on a leash. Our young dog could only master the steep stairs to the lake with help and for the walks you need a car.

Lorenzo and Sabrina are very kind. We received super well, with orange juice, prosseco, sweets, chocolates and salami. They were flexible at check-in and checkout. Extremely attentive and always available. The house is beautiful! Better than on the pictures. Super spacious. We yiled again.

Everything easy, great villa.

We had a great stay at the Casa Speranza. The villa was nice with a beautiful view. Denise was also great at communicating with us and always responsive. It made our trip to Ticino much better. We will be coming back for sure when the weather is a bit warmer so we can use the outdoor area ;)

Super nice cottage with great views over Lake Maggiore!The kitchen was well furnished, there were even many spices! Top 3 bedrooms each with its own toilet and double sink and shower!Shower detergent had been there too! We felt very comfortable! You can also take beautiful walks and visit beautiful restaurant on foot! We were able to check in early and check out later too! Christoph was a great host ! Will be back for sure!

Perfect for our family of five. All bedrooms are private. Kitchen is fully equipped and modern. Heated pool. Million dollar view of the lake. Very clean. Nice laundry equipment. Each bedroom has its own en-suite.

Thanks to Sylvia for her very warm welcome, she is concerned about the comfort of her guests and puts her beautiful apartment at our disposal as well as her private pool. Great location to visit Lugano and its surroundings, we had a dream stay with an ideal setting.

We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful and charming house. It had everything we needed, was clean and it was well explained how to get there. The best thing during the hot days was definitely the amazing pool. We would absolutely recommend this place ☺️ Thank you!

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

We had a fantastic week. The cottage was neat and tidy. Everything we needed was present. The pool was lovely. The view was phenomenal. Furthermore, delicious food in the village every night. Wonderful walks made. Other nice outings done in the area. Yum well equipped. Recommended.

This was the perfect Airbnb-experience! The apartement is part of a stunning house whith a huge garden and a postcard-view over Lake Lugano. Vittoria and her mother were really nice and helpfull hosts. We can totally recommend this place - especially if you love dogs or even bring your own. Caroo and Cody sweetened our stay from morning 'till dawn. We hope to return soon :)
