Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thompson

We had the best time at Vincent's lake house, and look forward to visiting again in the summer! It was easy to find, clean and cozy. The location was beautiful and the lake views and dock made us want to visit again in warmer weather. There was an issue with the oven the week before our stay, and Vincent was very communicative about the situation and provided options in case that affected our plans that weekend. It wasn't an issue, but I appreciated how attentive he was. Kitchen and amenities were great, can't wait to come back!

What a wonderful place. Has the vibes of staying at a friend's well-loved home. Lots of space, great views, well-stocked kitchen. Hot tub and fireplace made it nice and cozy when it's cold outside. Would love to stay again in the future.

My family and I really enjoyed Elizabeth property very comfortable and quiet, we definitely thinking about coming back soon.

Scott hosted my friends and I in a beautiful home on the water. We enjoyed water sport activities, even in November! We were 10 minutes away from New Paltz and 10 minutes away from hiking spots! The house was east to locate, check-in to, and Scott communicated very effectively. We were even granted late check-out! The house was very charming, well-stocked, and clean. One of my favorite touches was the “pet essentials” corner. Scott provided our pup with a bed, food bowls, and a leash - very thoughtful! His rules are clearly explained and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend a stay at Scott’s and would love to return next time I’m looking to stay in the area.

Krystyn was very responsive with any questions that we had. The place is beautiful and very peaceful. We didn't need to text Krystyn once during our stay there because anything we needed was provided. Our family had an amazing and very relaxing weekend. We would definitely come back here again.

This was our families 5th annual Thanksgiving trip to the Poconos and the best by far! The house is so cozy and comfortable for a large group. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms. Eugene is a fantastic host and incredibly accommodating! We would love to come back again.

My family and I rented Ava’s home over Christmas and it was the best AirBnB experiences I’ve ever had. The house was very well stocked and truly had everything we needed. We had a 5 year old with us and she loved all the toys available. The space was truly beautiful and Aga was responsive and proactive with everything. We knew just what to expect. Truly above and beyond a 5-star experience-we hope to find an open time this summer to return!

A beautiful home right on Sturgeon Pool. Everything you need for a stay, convenient to New Paltz, Kingston, etc.

This was an ideal place to get away from it all and decompress. The location was extremely quiet and peaceful with only the sound of the flowing river to be heard. Deer visited the property often. John was an extremely gracious and genuinely caring host. He was readily available and positively responsive to any and all questions. Making our stay a wonderful experience was his primary concern. He even transported our luggage to and from the cabin. Thank you John for a fantastic Thankgiving getaway. We're already planning our return.

we had such a wonderful relaxing stay at Jill’s cabin! the house felt very homey & nostalgic in the best way possible. the property and location are beautiful, and we cannot wait to return in the summer to enjoy the lake. Very kind & responsive host, also the home is really well stocked which was great as we made majority of our meals utilizing the kitchen!

This was the first time we went to the poconos over night, we loved it. The host was friendly and communicative. When ever I had a question during over stay he answered very kindly! He was very flexible when we wanted to add an extra day. Very peaceful; very little cars pass through; our little dog loved it; when we realized we forgot something he had it there. Totally recommend! This was a great Christmas week!

Nilda is an incredibly warm and welcoming host. Her cabin was the perfect place for a getaway with our dogs with all the space for them to run around and for us to relax. Nilda and her partner, George, got on the phone with us to help set up the fireplace and even offered to come by if we needed any physical help but luckily we got it all resolved on the phone and was super easy once we figured it out. Nilda checked in on us daily with recommendations on places to go and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin has cozy and rustic decor which felt very zen and we really enjoyed the skylight in the big open shower. Her home was perfectly stocked up with cookware and spices for us to make dinner and even had s'mores ingredients for us to enjoy while stargazing at night. The whole experience was just what we needed and recommend it to anyone visiting the Catskills region!

My husband, son and I had a wonderful little getaway. Elise provided us with restaurant recommendations, the home was stocked with essentials, it was close to grocery stores and food. Elise also made sure the walkway and driveway were cleared after it snowed.

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

Had a wonderful stay! The host is amazing and provided us with a detailed pdf of all the great things we could do for our weekend in the Poconos. The airbnb itself was so cute, clean, and had generous amenities, dish ware, and even an array of spices for cooking. Also appreciated that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available, as well as hand soaps at every sink. This was the perfect, cozy stay and will hopefully return soon.

Although we encounter some challenges, Alex was very helpful, and assisted us in a very timely manner.

Beautiful cabin. It is exactly as pictured. It was very cozy. I found it comfortable and well maintained. I went with my two year old and two month old! I felt very comfortable and safe with them there. It was a wonderful experience. We will be back!
