Holiday rentals with a kayak in Texas City

I cannot say enough about the place. It was absolutely perfect for our group. We had chosen the place because my daughter was getting married at a venue near by. I needed a place that could accommodate large family with young and old. Having the elevator was a must for my grandparents and great grandparents. Staying at a hotel would not have aloud us to have peace before nor rest after the big day. We even used the long porch and driveway to hold a quick rehearsal for all the bridesmaids/groomsmen the night before. We were able to have family dinners and more time together to make memories. Thank you so much Amber for opening up your home to us!

This is a great place! It’s just like in the photos. We truly enjoyed relaxing on the multiple porch options available. The views are great but my favorite part was hanging out on the bottom porch/deck at night and watching the various fish swim around the green lights in the bay! It’s so relaxing and the hot tub was wonderful too! One evening I happened to walk outside and startle a pelican away that was resting on the boat dock of the house! A unique place for sure and if we’re ever in the Galveston area I’d definitely consider staying here again!

My family and I had a great experience! The house was exactly as described, immaculately clean, packed with really nice touches and extras, and was a perfect location for us. Our Host was great about contacting us with all necessary instructions, and while we didn't have any problems at all, I certainly felt that if any had come up, they would have been handled very quickly. All around, it was a fantastic stay!

Hosts very responsive. Beautiful home with all the amenities needed. We stayed during a rainy weekend but still enjoyed the covered deck space a lot.

Great canal house, and great neighborhood! We had so much fun fishing and kayaking, and being such a short drive from Sea Isle Beach was AWESOME. The patios were great for spending time together outside, and the house had everything we needed for four adults and four kids. And the outdoor shower was so handy when returning from the beach.

Was a nice place for our family of 5 to get together for a late Christmas.

My family had such an amazing time at the Spaceship. It was my nephews 21st birthday, and it was perfect for he and his siblings to be on one side of the house and us “older folk” were on the other. We were able to have fun on the canal fishing and having lunch and dinner on the deck. Super clean and stocked for full meals for the family in the kitchen. Everything was available…. The location was perfect for access to the beach. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you again Joyce for all your hospitality and help. ❤️

Our stay here was amazing! It was our second stay at Jamie’s house and won’t be our last. Jamie is an outstanding host. A tornado hit the area the morning we came into town and cut the electricity off to the whole peninsula. Jamie was very communicative about the loss of electricity and when it may be restored. She also offered us a refund if we decided not to stay. Even her neighbor brought us over a generator the next day. She then refunded a portion of the cost for the inconvenience of no electricity. Truly a great host!
