Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Test Valley District

I stayed at Sonia’s house with a group of friends. We were 6 adults and 5 children aged 3 to 7. The house was perfect and I actually think the photos don’t quite do it justice. There is plenty of space for the children and adults to do their own thing but also come together. Reception spaces were so cosy with lots of space and made a great cinema room or snug, depending what mood you’re in. Bedrooms were all a great size and and beds were so comfortable! Sonia is a great host. Very responsive, kind and helpful. We have already said, we will be back as it’s such a great house for a gathering with friends.

The house was warm, clean and comfortable with all the amenities we required. Parking is great, although a little awkward. The location is handy for visiting the docks and seafront. It was a little noisy at the front of the house on some nights due to the proximity of pubs and restaurants. Overall, we would recommend this house and would certainly stay here again.

Had a lovely stay here with our dog and newborn baby. Chantelle was so responsive and helpful with telling us local pubs within walking distance. Bath is only a 10 minute drive away too, we parked by Waitrose- found this reasonably priced and central. Leaving things for the dog & chocolates was such a lovely touch. Thanks again :) x

Aimee and Paul have a beautiful home that felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality was exceptional—they provided great local recommendations, were responsive to any questions, and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful environment while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. A great few nights stay alway,lovely location,easy to find with the instructions provided and a lovely place to stay and relax. Only thing missing for us was a pair of oven gloves so had to use the t towel which wasn’t great as we had just used it to wash up! Overall though great stay and would highly recommend.

Well equipped, extremely comfortable with lots of room including two living rooms so people could do their own thing. Good position, corner shop nearby but walking distance to city centre and to also to major supermarkets. Car parking space for 3 cars was useful. Highly recommended.

We had another amazing New Year stay at Coppice. Such a comfy, cosy, clean and well equipped place to stay and Cora our dog loves it too. Just a short walk from the beach and cliff top walks and the new forest is a short drive away so for us and our dog it's the best of both worlds. Debbie and Ian are great, friendly, helpful and responsive but also happy to leave you to it. I'm sure we will return ❤️

Spent a wonderful few days celebrating a special birthday. The cottage was wonderful in an exceptional location for walking and recharging the batteries and enjoying a relaxing time away. Would fully recommend the cottage and location for anyone wishing for relaxation and taking time out. The scenery is enchanting and changes throughout the day. Loved everything about the time away. A wonderful family in beautiful surroundings. We could not ask for anything more. Watching the birds in the morning and then having the pleasure of seeing the Red Kites during their feed will be a memorable experience. If time away from the hustle and bustle is what you need then this is the place for you. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful family pre Christmas get together weekend at park Dale Cottage. The house was in a beautiful spot and we found it spacious and well laid out for our extended family needs. Kate was welcoming and available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed walks into the local area and definitely needed our walking boots to go across the field into the woods which are beautiful and full of ponies! The kitchen area was well equipped, the beds comfy and it was perfect for young children with the lovely selection of toys and outside play area. We loved the big open plan space it was very social . Thank you Katie for the welcome hamper food bits. We really had a perfect weekend, thank you.

Great place to stay to unwind from the real world, the host goes above and beyond for us this is now our 4th time back and we are never dissapointed I’m definately going back again

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.

We visited last year and were so happy with the stay that we looked for availability for the New Year period. It is a lovely cottage with the advantage of more car parking space than other areas on the estate and in a quieter section. Everything required is present and it was another lovely stay with the family and dogs

We had a wonderful stay over the New Year’s Eve period. The property was exactly as described, and Carina was so friendly, proactive, and quick to respond in all our communications. The area is absolutely beautiful, even in the heart of winter, and it’s conveniently close to transportation into London. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming little property, I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely time at Sarah's property. The bungalow was lovely and clean and spacious and perfect for our needs. It was very well situated for both the coast as well as beautiful woodland walks. The break was just what we needed and Sarah was very easy to get hold of and very helpful. Thank you. :-)

Lovely chalet, lovely hosts! The place was very thoughtfully equipped, had everything we needed and more.

we really enjoyed our stay in the caravan and loved watching the view of the creek with the changing tide. Really lovely in the sun when tide was in. We were very lucky with the weather so only spent the evenings in the van but if we had been in more would have made use of the books,videos and games available. I have never seen so many varied books outside a library! The gas cooker was excellent and large fridge and freezer was useful. The welcome pack of biscuits and bread and eggs and butter milk and drinks in fridge was very nice. We felt very comfortable and the space in the bedroom was excellent with a comfy ( if a bit high for my short legs) bed. If we visit Hayling again we will hope its available. We eventually sussed the best way to get the car in and out the space when there was another large car parked so will know for next time.

Great stay at this accomodation and location. Clean, welcoming amd warm. Very close to the facilities on site. We stayed at Christmas - a small tree and a some decorations were up which was a nice touch, along with a welcome pack. Host very responsive and helped us check in early and leave later. All bedrooms have their own tv which our kids were thrilled with, and the van WiFi was good. The onsite indoor pool is good, along with sauna and steam rooms, and the amusement arcade was enjoyed by our children. As other reviews mention, the van is situated very close to the main access road and the entrace to the centre; I was woken by a man briefly shouting to his friends one night but otherwise people talking and vehicles moving didnt cause us an issue.

As always, fantastic break with Gordon. His caravans are the only place we ever stay in southsea/Portsmouth area, you cant get a better host.

Eva was a fantastic host - so friendly, communicative and very accommodating. We stayed in the property over Christmas - it was very spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Eva made it feel so welcoming and homely for us. She left welcome treats for the children and the adults, and a manual with all the ‘need to know’ information. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils we needed for our Christmas dinner! The property is superb and in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed many walks around the local countryside and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back garden - deer, foxes, pheasants, squirrels, as well as the resident chickens! We had the perfect stay.
