Beachfront holiday rental in Terre-de-Haut

Excellent stay with our 1 and 3 year old daughters. The house is ideally located for swimming and walks in the village. Given the age of our daughters, the restaurants were not possible but we found several restaurants right next door that accepted that we could bring the dishes. Unforgettable living room!

I am very familiar with Les Saintes and this is by far my favorite location. You are just a few hundred steps from town, but off a quite, dead-end road and set up on the hill to enjoy the breeze. It's also a wonderful house - well built with wood and nice touches for comfort. We enjoyed opening the windows and just enjoying the breeze--- and we did not have any issue with mosquitoes. We loved hanging out on the deck and using the hammock. This house is an excellent value for the price. The primary bedroom is very nice, and the other bedroom has 3 twin beds. (There is also a sofa bed in the living room.) I highly recommend for large families but it is also great for couples or even a single person. Note: this house is on Les Saintes public water system, so it's important to note that the water may go out at any time (same for most of the island), but there are plenty of water jugs available for the toilet, washing dishes, etc. This did not change our experience at all.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect location on the island for access to restaurants by foot in the evening. We are cat people, so having the two around was awesome and relaxing. Recommend having a golf cart or scooter to get up the hill to the place as well as all the others throughout the island. Mosquitoes exist on the island; however there were many measures provided to deter them, so they were manageable. We loved the spot and wish to return!

A great stay in this bungalow, which completely met our expectations. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive while respecting our privacy. I highly recommend this place for your stay!

We spent a few days in this place, and it was great….!!!! 20m from a beach with not many people to observe the abundant aquatic fauna. There are 2 restaurants 20m away too. We are close to a lot of activities on lowland. All this with a calm in the evening. Léa is super nice, she had left us something to eat (because we arrived late). Thank you again. We highly recommend accommodation and will come back if we are lucky to return to Gwada…

Sarah was a super helpful and proactive host! She waited for us by the ferry and gave us a tour around the area. We got tons of helpful tips, and the trip wouldn’t be the same without her. Only regret is that the ferry schedule to the island isn’t very frequent, so we couldn’t stay longer

Perfect stay in Benoît's superb duplex! Outdoor kitchen and large table allowing for nice family moments. Amazing views of the Bay of Saintes from the terrace and the pisicne. Exchanges with Benoit were fluid. We would recommend it without hesitation.

I was totally flabbergasted by the amazing views, the superbly maintained and tasteful property and the general French Caribbean “vibe” We totally enjoyed our stay here and it was a pity we could not book it for longer. We will definitely try to get back as soon as we can!!

The accommodation is ideally located for discovering Basse-Terre, in a green setting overlooking the sea. Victorine's welcome was warm, always present when we needed it, but she was very discreet. Thank you for this stay Victorine!

A beautiful villa, on the heights of Vieux Habitants. The sunset view is breathtaking! So nice to cook/eat with this view. Beautiful pool (clean and refreshing), much appreciated with children. Very well equipped kitchen, modern amenities, very comfortable home with brewers and air conditioning in the master bedroom. Cédric was responsive, friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay and recommend this place to visitors who want to experience Basse Terre.

Nice house, tastefully decorated and well equipped.and with little welcome touches ( rum , fruit ...) . Bruno who manages the concierge was warm and responsive to our requests. The only real inconvenience comes from a bedroom whose window opens directly to a garage and which is closed by a curtain and whose air conditioning is in the office next door . One of the other bedrooms is a Carbet independent of the house . It would be good to specify all this in the listing to avoid disappointments . Good value for money because we had a promotion. Despite this inconvenience, we had a good week in this house in a good location to visit Basse Terre.

It is a haven of peace from which an atmosphere of incredible serenity and relaxation emerges. The setting is majestic, direct accessibility to the sea from the end of the terrace, Good restaurants, caterer, shops and bike rental 5 min walk. 3 days too short to fully enjoy this beautiful island, to be renewed!!! People are kind and welcoming to their reputation.

Great apartment, very well equipped with several extra (really lots of kitchen items, spices, coffee, local fruits...everything is there). Several beach towels, mask and snorkel fins available, beach basket, several books about the surroundings... Larger apartment than I imagined, it felt at home, safe and none during our stay. The description is very compliant, no unpleasant surprises. Very friendly and friendly host. Beautiful view of the marina and beach within walking distance. Several small shops nearby (2 bakery, butcher shop, local market, grocery, restaurant)

Very nice stay at Michel's apartment. The place is friendly, the people who live around very nice and friendly. Michel is an excellent host! It is always available for our needs or just to share places. Loved our experience:)

We were very well received upon arrival! The place was as described, very clean and very functional! A short stay but we will come back without hesitation! A beautiful beach is right next to the accommodation where you will also have the chance to meet turtles:)
