Holiday rentals with beach access in Teignmouth

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

We’ve had a fantastic week at Chris and Tanya’s apartment. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. Both Chris and Tanya were great hosts, responding quickly to any queries we had. Bigbury and Burgh Island is a special place for us, so spending it overlooking Burgh Island was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back again!

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay in this spacious four bed house, lovely big lounge and conservatory area, with in easy walking distance of beach and town amenities. Chris was very responsive whenever we contacted him and soon dealt with anything we asked about.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Fantastic stay for a big group. Each bedroom was set up for double beds with en-suites which was ideal. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for a social dinning experience. The lounge was big but was very cosy (also a great tv). The parking was tough but some of us parked right up the road in a quiet neighbourhood for free. Plenty to do in the local area, 3 pubs, monkey zoo, secluded beach, Teignmouth with much more across the river. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of friends. 👌🏼

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Throughout the whole process, Kristin was an excellent host! Helpful and prompt before booking, welcoming and informative when checking in, a beautifully presented property that was worth the costs. Really looking forward to my next stay booked in the coming weeks.

The house is lovely. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels supplied. Very quiet area. Would be even better in the summer. Only downside is not having dedicated parking but we found a spot just down the road.

Great place. Second time staying here with my elderly father for Christmas. Was spotlessly clean with all the kitchen etc utensils needed. The scones, jam and clotted cream was a nice touch as we're the Christmas decorations. Arranged to check-in early at 4pm on Christmas eve. Is about a 15 minute walk from Exmouth station plus is on street parking (parking permit provided by host if needed). Very easy access to seafront/estuary mouth and small marina. Is also a pub opposite (not noisy) that does good food. Are a couple of mini-mart style shops about 400yards away. Exmouth centre a 15 minute walk. Would recommend

Phil's place was, for a lack of any better words, beautiful. I can't even begin to describe how amazing the space was. Picturesque views, pristine condition and spotless. The photos do not do it justice. Both Phil and Lorraine were very friendly and helpful. They had amazing recommendations, and even put up a birthday banner as well were going for a birthday celebration. They were responsive and friendly, I really couldn't ask for anything more. We would definitely recommend Phil and Lorraine's AirBnB to a friend. 10/10

Amazing apartment, short walking distance from shops, resteraunts, cafes & bars. Many walking trails, beaches and activities in the local srea. Thomas is fast and responsive.

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

Loverly peaceful spot! Very accommodating with our dog. Woods nearby for a quick morning walk. Only 20mins walk into town! Beware the steep hill back up though it’s a killer! Would love to stay/visit again

A wonderfully located penthouse apartment, that surprisingly goes on and on. Also they’ve put in lovely new bathroom - not the one in the pics - it’s much nicer with bath and separate shower. Stayed at this location with 2 kids, aged 3 and 7, there are two flights of stairs to contend with and a parking spot which is around the bs k of the property that requires a 2 mins walk, but once your in this space meets your needs in an affordable way. Lounge and kitchen are both self contained at one end, and the kids bedroom and master along with bathroom away so you can get downtime and relax once the kids are in bed. Also town and seafront are soo close.

We have booked a few times for colleagues working in the area, never had a problem, Sonia is a perfect host. Would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay - the host was very helpful on arrival, especially in giving us ideas of where to go during our stay. The property was extremely clean and very well equipped, therefore made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property to all.
