Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tay Valley

The house is clean and spacious it was a great stay for us. Mercy is very responsive.

We had a lovely stay at Brenda's place over the Christmas & New Year Holiday. Brenda even had a live Christmas tree set up for us which was a real treat. Everything we needed was available and Brenda always was quick to reply to any of our questions. We would highly recommend her house. Thanks Brenda

Great spot and great overall experience! Right off of the hill for easy ski in and ski out. Just fyi, it’s a quick trek up the hill across the road by the mountain sign which takes you to the bottom/lake view chair- super easy. The place itself was perfect and so cozy - fireplace was amazing :) Well stocked, very clean, very nice, and had everything we could think of needing. Thanks Victoria!

Dana and Eric’s place was cozy, clean and well stocked. The neighbourhood is quiet and we slept well, which was important for my son who was racing over the weekend. We will definitely book again for the next race in Kingston !

The place was super clean and spacious, just as described! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, there’s a Mcdonald’s literally right in front of the place.

Despite the fact that old man winter showed up during our stay, the flat was toasty warm and with parks in either direction, there was always somewhere to walk our dogs. The Gatineau Parkway was near enough to walk to, providing access to everything the park has to offer, depending on the season.

Great place, clean, everything you would need and close to any store or restaurant you need. Glenn was responsive and helpful with tips on where to dine. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay! The neighborhood is lovely and close to good food. The bus to downtown is very short and only a block or two away. The kitchen was clean and generally well stocked. The access to laundry machine was very handy. The separate entrance made it very private. The only challenge was that the owners upstairs host a daycare and often children would be jumping and screaming upstairs which we could hear quite clearly. If you are using it as a home base but are planning to be out during but the day, the noise shouldn’t be a problem.

We had an amazing experience at Dave's place! Dave was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even with our last-minute booking. Despite the short notice, he managed to host us without any issues. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

Carmel's place was our home away from home for 10 nights. We couldn't have been happier with the space it provided for our family of four. Carmel wrote us helpful restaurant recommendations and was very accommodating with early check-in and with making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We enjoyed touring downtown, which was a short walk, and we would love to stay again in the summer months to experience both seasons. We would highly recommend Carmel's place!

Dee's place (and Dee herself) is a true gem. She put so much care and thought into preparing for our stay and even left the sweetest birthday gift for me! She is very personable, friendly, and accommodating. My friends were impressed with the find and said "the pictures didn't do it justice". The space was clean, homey, and she went above and beyond in providing helpful instructions and all sorts of creature comforts for her guests. We felt like family!

We enjoyed our visit. Would love to stay there again.

Very comfy and homey, exactly like the pictures. Felt very safe. Beds were comfortable and bed linen/towels were crisp and clean. Was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, laundry detergent, tea, coffee and even fresh cartons of milk and cream in the fridge. The only issue was that the water from the shower leaked onto the floor, requiring multiple towels to sop it up. Overall was an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, clean, matched what was described, and perfect for what we required.

We had an issue the first day with our door knob being so loose, we couldn’t open the door to get back out! So I messaged Jacqualine, and she sent me back a response immediately, and had someone there to fix it within 10 minutes! But the recast of the place was very nice! The location is Great, in walking distance to River, shopping, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops and boat tour areas! And yo can see a lot of different size boats going up and down the river right out your kitchen window! We would highly recommend staying there!

Nice spot in Calabogie. Our family of four enjoyed this cozy place. Good info for local amenities, festive/seasonal decor, and a few extras (tupperware, tin foil, etc.) was appreciated. The keypad to the entrance was a bit tricky to open.

We had an AMAZING visit at Mitch's place. There was an issue with the cleaner cancelling last minute but Mitch communicated with us and we worked out the issues for the most part. The kitchen was perfectly fine for our purposes. It had enough dishes, bowls, pots, a small cast iron pan, cutting boards, knives, cutlery, can opener, oven mitts, salt, pepper, oil. I had precooked a lot of our food so that we could just reheat and have maximum ski time. The unit felt a lot bigger than I expected. It was conveniently close to the chair lift so we were able to come back and rest and during our ski day. It was a little early in the season for the ski hill and one of the lifts wasn't open yet and a lot of the green runs weren't open yet. The ski hill has a "Kids Club" lesson which is really affordable for kids lessons so we could go off and ski for a couple of hours. Overall it was a great and I highly recommend.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and in a great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance.
