For me this was Shangr-la the perfect antidote to Ho Chi Minh City. Finding out about life in the Ap voi village. Cycling across the paddy fields at sunset will always be a special memory. Dung is an incredible host nothing is too much trouble and he speaks good English which is another bonus.

Wonderful stay at Dung’s! I had booked 4 nights and ended up extending my stay because it felt so good to be here. The accommodation is very pleasant and clean, surrounded by nature and rice fields. Dung showed me around the area and introduced me to the local fruits. You’ll discover a welcoming community. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area—everything was perfect. Quoc was a very very good host, first off, my grab dropped me off at the wrong location, so he came out on a motorbike to pick me up. Then he took me out to dinner because I hadn't eaten and also drove me around for sightseeing. I had to checkout rather late and I really appreciate the flexibility. He also helped me to arrange for my hike up to Ba Den Mountain and checked in to see if everything was okay. Wanted to tip for the trouble but he declined. Would definitely stay again!! He is also really responsive and very kind. I really enjoyed my short trip!
