House holiday rentals in Tallulah Falls

Our stay was peaceful & relaxing. Home & property was perfect! Thank you for hosting!!

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

We always enjoy staying at Ellen’s place. She is the kindest host and communication is top-notch. The space is extremely clean and comfortable. We have everything we need to cook meals and feel right at home. The new pool deck was almost complete during our visit and is a wonderful upgrade. We look forward to returning!

We loved our stay at Tammy’s place! This was our first time staying on the North side of the lake and we are officially huge fans! It’s so much calmer and absolutely beautiful. The house itself was perfect. Beautiful kitchen and rooms. Everything felt so fresh and clean. It’s also so easy with kids to walk out the basement and watch them swim at 8am or while eating dinner on the downstairs patio. Tammy was super responsive and helpful with any issues (we only had one tiny problem with a thermostat that she had taken care of right away!). We hope to come back again next summer!

We had an amazing trip to Lake Lanier! The house was fantastic – super clean, recently updated, and everything was in great working condition. It was well-stocked with all the essentials, which made our stay even more comfortable. We were all impressed by how much was provided, from kitchen supplies to recreational gear. The Lakeview from the house was absolutely stunning, making for a perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. We also had the chance to get out on kayaks and paddle boards. It was an unforgettable trip, and we'd definitely love to return!

We had a wonderful family reunion Thanksgiving at Alan’s. The house exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable, we had plenty of space and the kitchen was extremely well stocked! Many people in our party commented that the pictures did not do the property justice. We were a multigenerational family, and everyone found something to do whether it was watching football from the cozy basement or going on the lake in the paddleboard or hanging out in the hot tub!It was the perfect way to spend our holiday with our senior Tigers!

Plenty of space to spread out, the screened in porch (with ceiling fan!), was great for coffee and drinks. We loved the pool and outdoor space for fun time with family. Host was responsive, with great communications skills, and even provided recommendations of local restaurants. Appreciate the hospitality!

The home itself is in a beautiful location and is built to enjoy the scenery. The long balcony that extends the back is the perfect spot to start or end your day. With the beautiful views right in the back yard, it’s hard to beat. The added feel of privacy is just what a large group needs to have an unplugged home away from home. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back. One thing I disliked what that it wasn’t well stocked with supplies/toiletries. It stated in the listing that the home would only have enough to last “a weekend”, but I think for the price we paid, the guests deserve to have some extra rolls of toilet paper, trash bags, bottles of travel body wash, etc. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to keep it well stocked as the amount used/needed by different parties will always vary. For that price point, we expected that level of decent hospitality - especially if they’re going to ask us to clean up and take out our trash at the end of the trip.

Ms Cherissse was a great hostess. We visited during hurricane Helene and she brought us water to make sure that we had enough. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for rejuvenation. I hope to stay again in the future

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

Very nice, canine friendly place in Appalachia. Lots of great hiking nearby. Scenic and peaceful setting. Home is well equipped and comfortable.

Wonderful hosts. We had some concerns with inclement weather and the hosts were flexible and gracious. Beautiful location on the lake. Coffee in the mornings is delightful.

Kevin's place was absolutely stunning. Beautiful peaceful views, extremely spacious and well kept. Hosts were very responsive and detailed in instruction, which is always helpful. This lake house was the perfect getaway for the holidays! The property was clean and well-maintained, and the location on the lake was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed stunning views and had plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed to feel at home, including a pool table that provided hours of entertainment. It was the perfect size for our group of six. The owner was very responsive to all the questions that we asked. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

A great place to stay with friends or a family. The house itself has a good set up for spending time with people. The view of the lake also has a view of the side of the neighbors house, but it still 100% worth the price

Perfect getaway for Thanksgiving with the family. The views, the lake, and the amenities were perfect and fit the descriptions listed. Andrew was an awesome host, very responsive and proactive. Highly recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. My wife liked the accessories in the kitchen. She felt like she was in her kitchen. We will be back again.

We felt right at home the moment we arrived. The host was thoughtful in the essentials/extras provided, our bed was super comfy, and the home is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood. Though peaceful and surrounded by woods, the home is conveniently located just a few minutes from all that Seneca has to offer (restaurants, shopping, etc). We would stay here again and recommend this host and home to anyone looking for a great deal and a comfortable stay.

2024 Christmas Holidays. Secluded house with several surrounding dwellings, very close to main roadways. Has all you need, plenty of lovely outdoor space, excellent hot & cold air conditioning, very comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen and the hot tub is an absolute plus! Totally recommended. Linda is a fantastic host. Five stars!

Booked this cabin for a 3 night stay to do some scenic motorcycle riding along the famous routes in the area and the home did not disappoint. We were absolutely in awe at how beautiful, quiet and comfortable it was. The description was very accurate. Our host (Jason and family) were so very helpful and extremely responsive. He gave very detailed instructions on how to find the place (Apple maps will lead you to the mailbox and driveway) and responded to any of my question almost instantaneously. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re visiting the mountains. Such a great place to relax and unwind after riding all day. If you are a group of riders there is covered parking and even though it’s a gravel driveway we found going up on the right and coming down of the left the best way. I already told my wife that I want to plan a family get away here if the near future…if it’s not already booked. Thank you to Jason and family!!

This is a great place to stay especially if you are visiting anyone at WCU because it is not far from the campus. It is tucked away in a quiet little spot with nice views. Samantha left a little personal touch that made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.
