Fantastic place to stay if you’re looking to be by the water! The host was very helpful and informative. I would definitely stay here again if I had a large group wanting to go to the lake for the weekend. This place will forever be a memory of a good time had!

Lands Lakefront Lodge

DaisyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Little piece of paradise with beautiful views. Lots to do here from paddle boating, fishing or just relaxing watching the view. We were working in the area helping to restore services after the hurricane. We worked 12 hours a day ..7 days a week. It was really relaxing coming home here each night after a long day. Beds were very comfortable and we all had room to stretch out and relax. Beautiful inside and out. Michelle is a great host and goes above and beyond to make sure all the guys were comfortable and taken care of. You will not regret booking this house! I definitely recommend.

Fun Lake Oconee Lake House

MikeRating, 5 stars117 months ago
My family met from various locations at Peter's beautiful house. It is massive with two bedrooms on each level (basement, main and second floor, although one of the second floor room is for children only - two twin beds and a set of bunk beds). There was a minor hitch during our stay but Peter worked quickly to resolve it and even with that tiny issue, the vacation was great. We all had a great bonding and chilling time. We rented a boat from the local marina and had a fun time on the lake. We also walked down to the little beach and had a great time just chillin' on the sand and floating in the water. It is a beautiful place, full kitchen, stocked with essentials (paper towels, coffee filters, appliances, gas grill, etc. Even a full size refrigerator with ice-maker in the door!) Giant deck out back and one below too. Beautifully maintained, comfortable, feels like visiting a family member's home. Parking for four cars (two in the garage and two on driveway). Bring extra paper towels and toilet paper - other than your food and beverages - that is all you will need. This home is very child friendly (of course you need to watch them on the stairs!) with some children's activities and books downstairs.

*Newly Remodeled Cottage* Pool | Tennis | Boating

This property was our refuge from Hurricane Helene. We needed a place to recharge ourselves before returning to the destruction in our hometown. Every room in this property is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable. The area is very peaceful, but there are restaurants and shops only a few minutes away. We had a great stay and would recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay near Lake Oconee.

2 Acre Lakefront Point Lot with 3 private beaches

EmilyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The house was perfect for two families with small kids, especially the beaches. We really enjoyed our weekend. When we arrived, it was apparent that the cleaners had not come (dirty sheets still on bed, dirty towels and dishes left behind), however, when we alerted Rina, she was extremely apologetic and responsive and got cleaners to the house ASAP. We had another issue with the AC not working on the second level, but again, Rina responded quickly and immediately sent a repairman. Rina discounted our stay due to these issues, and as a result, we would not hesitate to stay again since everything else about the house and the property was lovely and as advertised.

Forehand Landing Boat Ramp Beautiful Sunsets

JenniferRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed at Joy’s lake home when we had to evacuate from Florida for Hurricane Milton. The home was well-equipped and met all of our needs. The view from the deck and the lake are amazing. There is an awesome uninhabited island in the lake that has goats on it! I enjoyed working from the huge deck and looking for goat appearances at the same time. You can also take the kayaks over to the island to get a close up. The best part of the experience, however, was Joy. When I shared the reason for our last minute booking, Joy went above and beyond to support us. She had her cleaner come a day early so we could check in right away after a long traffic-filled evacuation drive across FL/GA. She checked in on us frequently with care and concern for our personal situation. When I asked to extend the stay due to hurricane damage, she refused my money despite me insisting. This is a lovely property with an even lovelier owner. We will undoubtedly be back.
