A fantastic retreat surrounded by nature. We loved the stunning sunrise views over the water, having ice cold dips in the water after hot sauna sessions, and getting cosy by the log burner in the cabin. The rolltop bath is glorious, and the finishing little touches make this place just magical.

The place was 100% as described! The reception was incredibly personal and super organized. The personal welcome left room to clarify the last questions! The place was very nicely decorated and there was nothing missing! An absolute highlight is the fenced property and the wonderful hot tub!

Vera and Ellen informed us about everything in time and were very friendly. The living room with the sofas in front of the gas fireplace is very cozily furnished, the kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is nice. Everything was very clean. The beds are also great, you can sleep great in them. The outdoor facilities are well maintained and appealing, the location quiet, but still close to Steenwijk or to the highway if you want to do something. Everything is really very good except for the fact that you have almost no space for your clothes. But we got that sort of sort and wasn't crucial. We can highly recommend this apartment!

Moin, ...again a big thank you to Heidi and Uwe for the nice and friendly welcome. The house and surroundings exactly met our expectations. The in-house dock and the use of the small boat "OTTO", for excursions and trips on the Rorichumer Tief, were another I - icing on the cake. We will be happy to come back. Very spacious and clean accommodation, very pleasant. All amenities were working. The host was very responsive and available during our requests, no communication problems. The accommodation is easy to access with parking in front, 15 minutes from Steenwijk. Thank you again for your welcome!

We stayed with our two children (4 and 7 years) in the nice "Aelderhoes". A cozily furnished house that has all the comforts and where you immediately feel at home. The house is in a beautiful area where there is plenty to see and do. Wildlands Emmen is recommended (very nice zoo) and the Hunebed center is also very nice. There is also plenty within walking distance; nice hiking, visiting the mill (only on Saturday afternoon) or hiking through Oud Aalden. We were all sorry to have to go home and would love to come back!

Thank you Ilse and Maarten :) You have a great place for resting and enjoying life. When i arrived by bike, i was glad that there was already enough food to cook. I think the closest supermarket is Poiesz in Haulerwijk.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7) spent a week in this wonderful and stylishly furnished accommodation. We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed our time in East Frisia. If you are looking for relaxation with a good cup (or pot😉) tea, you will get your money's worth in this gem. Christin & Willi were very accommodating and had the best tips for things to do on site.

Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. We felt at home there. We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. Een-West offers you the opportunity to look around Drenthe,Groningen and Friesland... Really enjoy! Regards, Jan & Saskia van der Vooren.
