Family-friendly holiday rentals in Szentendre Island

It is a nice and well equipped house, we enjoyed our stay here. Amr was helpful and responsive when we had questions. The place looks as it is shown in the pictures.

This was yet another great time I've spent in this apartment. I felt absolutely at home. Everything is neat and exactly like as shown on the pictures. Many good places are nearby like Blaha Lujza square which is about 10 mins (couple of minutes to Keleti Station and continue with one of the express buses). Also Heroes square is pretty close with Museums and Varosliget. Many programs and good places to eat nearby and you can order to the apartment as well from Wolt or Foodora. All and all, the couch and the gallery was cozy and I had a great time. I highly recommend this place! I'm definitely coming back as soon as possible!

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. The location was quiet, safe, and clean. It is about 15 minute to the Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion by foot. It is about 20 minutes to the other side of the chain bridge. The space was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of HOT water, which is important to a family with 4 girls. Beds were clean and soft! The towel warmers were amazing and I think the place had heated floors. :) The Danube is right across the street and there is a grocery store 4 minutes down the road by foot. Great place for a great price. Check in was easy and check out was just as smooth. My only issue was the TV/Projector. It was really complicated to use and once we figured it out the movies kept glitching because of the internet (I think). If you don't watch TV - not a problem, but we were there 4 days with younger kids, so tended to end our day around 6 and wanted to relax with a movie. This wouldn't stop me from renting in the future - just wanted to mention it.

I recommend 100% this appartement, it was a fabulous moment. All is Perfect.

We spent two weeks at Robert’s apartment while working in Budapest. The property was very clean and exactly as advertised. Convenient location. Robert made our stay very comfortable and was always ready to help. I would highly recommend his apartment, and would be happy to stay here in the future.

The Apartment was Ultra Modern with all automated features. Place is very close to major attractions and lots of great restaurants nearby.

This Airbnb was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful, lux feel of the space—and it only got better from there. The host was amazing: incredibly responsive and helpful. The unit itself has everything you need, with thoughtful touches that make it feel extra special. We especially loved the large projector and screen for cozy nights in. The location is truly unbeatable—location, location, location! You’re literally steps away from so much to do and eat including high-end restaurants, and just two blocks from the water and the stunning Chain Bridge. It was the perfect spot to walk over to the Buda side and explore. The unit is also very comfortable and private, with great blackout shades that provide both darkness and peace when needed. Check-in and check-out were seamless and super easy, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’ll absolutely be staying here again the next time we visit our daughter in Budapest. Highly recommend!

The apartment was very clean and everything was provided. The position is central, next to everything you may need in Budapest. We definitely recommend this place!

Great location, right near subway which takes you directly into the centre. Balazs was very responsive and helpful. I would just note that the two showers are wet rooms, which puts the bathrooms out of use for a few hours whilst they dry out as it takes a while to drain. There is however another toilet (with no sink) in the apartment. The building was very secure, having to go through a coded gate and another coded door to the building before approaching the front door.

Tamás was a very responsive and friendly host! He had no problem with early check in. The place was cozy and clean, looked exactly like in the pictures. We had a good time there and we would come back. Thanks for everything Tamás!

David has been a helpful and responsive host which made a difference to our trip, especially since we were travelling with a baby. The apartment was cosy, well equipped and a short walk to most attractions in the city.

I had an excellent stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect and very convenient. The host was very responsive and attentive, making check-in and check-out easy. They provided great recommendations and ensured I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

A substantial and quiet apartment, just a short walk from the parliament building. Some really nice bars and restaurants nearby.

The place was just like the photos, the apartment is at a busy intersection, but we hardly heard the traffic. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location is just above the metro and tram stop. Grocery, restaurants, and cafes are also close by. Even walking around the sights are better planned, and you can make a day-long circle and end up back in your apartment. The amenities exceeded my expectations, the apartment is in the older style of furniture and amenities, but it doesn't matter. This is an older apartment building with an elevator. The hosts also provided us with towels and basic supplies in the kitchen such as sugar/salt and coffee, the apartment was also decorated with a tree, which we found nice. A spacious living room that takes longer to heat up, but it's really big, 2 bedrooms, spacious kitchen and bathroom. When we go to Budapest, we will be happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful family get together at Barbara's place. The place had a magnificent view and the house had everything what we needed. I loved the downstairs yoga/pilates studio so while kids had fun at the pool, I was able to recharge. Unfortunately we didnt have time to see the town so hopefully we can come back again soon!

Andrea's place is a beautiful place to stay. Four bedrooms, a large living room, two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen. And most importantly: a beautiful swimming pool in a lovely garden. During the day we (four people) sat mainly by the pool, in the evening we ate at the top of the terrace (if the sun had sufficiently sagged), with a beautiful view. Despite the warm weather (30+ degrees), the garden and house stayed cool. As a result, we did not miss an air conditioning. The house is quietly located against a hill (crickets in the evening), with nearby other homes, which we heard little/nothing from. From the house, excursions are possible (with a car) to, for example, Szentendre (15 minutes, picturesque village, terraces, for example to eat in the evening), Visegrad, Esztergom and Budapest (about 30-40 minutes). Two supermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive. Communication with Andrea went smoothly and check-in was flexible. In short, recommended! We would book the house again in a minute.

Very responsive host and very welcoming. Felt right at home in the lovely apartment. Would definitely recommend if you’re going in a group of about three or four, but would also be ideal for a couple. Tram only a 5 minute walk away which takes you straight into the centre. If I come back to Budapest I’ll be sure to book this again.

Honestly 10/10 stay. Getting in was easy because of how well the instructions were written out and the inside was bigger than expected! Super clean and we definitely had everything we needed. Host was super responsive and honestly we were so comfortable. We 100% would stay here again.

Fantastic location directly at the Donau. Amazing nature and yet close-by the city center! This 3-bedroom apartment had everything we needed, from a big(and i mean BIG!) rooftop terrace to 2 bathrooms with both toilets to a dog-friendly owner. All and all, great stay!
