Holiday rentals with a sauna in Syracuse

Our weekend stay in this magical place called “The Evermore” was something out of a storybook. At times, you felt like you tumbled down Alice‘s rabbit hole and somehow ended up in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. There was truly something different and unique around every corner! The Evermore estate is a private, tranquil retreat that resets the soul and re-energizes your spirit from the moment you pull onto its cobblestone driveway. Each building on the estate is filled with stories from its colorful history, literally, and the picturesque grounds surrounding the property provide a backdrop that appears to be out of a dream. And as if that’s not enough, it’s not very often that you come across a person who is wildly convicted to a cause with purpose. Donna, the owner, is not only a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the history of the property itself, but is quite possibly one of the most genuinely remarkable humans you will ever meet. Five stars. A perfect stay!

This was an amazing home in such a beautiful area of New York. The views are so nice and the hot tub off the master looking out at the landscape is amazing. All the details of the house really made it feel like you are in a chalet. The shower steam feature was also great. Just a great stay and we will definitely be back. For all you Hamilton parents - this is a great find only 20 min from campus!!

This space did exactly what it needed to do. Provided 7 adult men with plenty of activity and space for relaxation and time away. The accommodations were cleaned, organized, and welcoming. I believe our group will be back in the near future!

Alison’s home was even more lovely than the photos! My family of four (all adults) spent the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The property was so beautiful and private. The swimming pond, gardens, walking trails, patios and sauna gave us plenty of opportunity for both exploring and relaxing. The house is so comfortable and had everything we needed. Alison, Mike and their dog, Ghost were the perfect hosts! We did not want to leave and are already looking forward to returning ! This has been our favorite Airbnb yet!

It far exceeded expectations, very nice and excellent.

This is the Airbnb you always hoped for - our group of 10 could do anything - cook, eat, be wowed by the outdoors, and all the comforts of being indoors whether intimately or all seated at the same table for dinner. We gathered to make a lasting memory for ourselves as a family spread around the country wanting a way to stay connected to keep the family bonds strong in honor of our 87 year-old dad. Jan and Ken are prefect hosts, and wow, every inch of space has detailed attention to both pleasantness and purpose. Seriously, why look elsewhere? Bring your large group, bring some coolers you can keep vitals on ice, get wet in the sauna, hot tub, pool, cook up a storm, never have to leave the place. Beds are super comfortable, quiet ceiling fans take care of you, sleeping on lower level is in perfect coolness. It was prettier than the pictures and cozier than any thought of it being cavernous. As huge as it is it's still primed for intimacy. We thrive on jawing endlessly: fire pit!

We had an amazing stay with Vanderkamp. Excellent stay and a very well taken care of retreat. Everything was as described and sidewalks we shoveled and salted before we even thought about going outside the final morning of our stay! Beautiful place to stay! Definitely will be coming back!

This apartment is beautiful and in the best location, located above several restaurants. I highly recommend getting a sandwich from Nora’s or a panini from Port City. The drinks at Southern Fare and the Rooftop are creative and delicious. Parking is really easy and we always had a spot by the door. Instructions for check in and check out were very clear and minimal. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at Matt's place for a winter getaway and loved it. The place looks exactly as it does in the photos and you can tell that the hosts take care of it as their own. Everything feels brand new with tasteful furnishings. It feels like a perfect mix of a high-end hotel stay and the coziness of staying at an AirBnB place. Every room has its own AC/heater unit (bathrooms have heated floors), and the living room area has a couple, so the place gets as warm as you want it. Place is facing the lake and under heavy wind and we could not tell as far as how cozy and warm it felt inside. While the photos of the house are very accurate, I have to say that the place sits right on the lake and it is impossible to do justice to how beautiful the place looks with the view of the lake. Also a treat to wake up to the sound of waves gently crashing on the rocks. It was a lovely experience. If there for wineries: takes about 45mins-1hr to get to wineries on Seneca lake, but it's an easy drive.
