Beach house holiday rentals in Sydney

We stayed over a weekend with our two children and some friends. It was torrentially raining for the first 24 hours which was bad luck and made the journey a bit trickier with cancelled ferries but we made it and the sun came out for us and we had a lovely weekend in the incredible surroundings of Mackerel Beach. It’s such a peaceful and magical spot. Relatively close to Sydney but it feels like you’re so far away when you wake up there. Claudia and Richard gave us detailed and clear instructions which made the logistics so much easier. The kids loved the cricket kit and beach equipment. We all appreciated the kitchen set up as we all like to cook. Eating out on the deck was really special. Will definitely be back to Mackerel beach.

Our party of 5 including grandparents and 2 yr old son had a lovely stay at Michelle's. we stayed for 4 nights and spent the mornings at the beach which is just around the corner and lazy afternoons in the pool. The garden and house are well maintained and very cosy for a family trip away. I'd recommend stocking up on food as there are currently no shops/cafes at Pearl beach, but it was handy having a coffee cart turn up next door in the mornings. Even though there is construction building next door, my 2 year old son loved watching the machines and was disappointed when they weren't working on the weekend！Thanks again for sharing your home with us Michelle, we will be back！

Family of 5 + 2 furry ones stayed for a long weekend. Beautiful location and uninterrupted views across the water, was nice just to stay in and enjoy the ambience. However we did venture out and it was so well positioned, close to town, walking tracks, beaches but still quiet and peaceful. Only noise to be heard is the crashing of the waves! Would recommend and stay again.

Couldn't have wished for a better location, walking distance to the beach and shops. Stunning house, exactly how it had been portrayed and Samantha and Rich were very helpful and accommodating. I'd have no hesitation in returning if it was available.

Had such a beautiful peaceful stay 🙏the house was perfect and so close to the beach. Beautiful back entertainment area also. And the host was lovely and very fast msg response! I will definitely be booking again

Salt Air is a wonderful peaceful and spacious self contained place situated way back behind the main residence in its own space. I could hear the sound of the sea with my windows open (of which there are many!) and see the water from the front patio doors. It’s possible to have total privacy if you wish. A lovely bottle of wine, coffee pods and chocolates awaited me. It’s a 30 second walk to the beach. Lovely cafes and the National Park to walk in. All in all a great place to stay! Thank you Donna.

What a wonderful week at Patonga. Margaret's place was just perfect for our post Christmas family relaxation. The view across to Palm beach is spectacular and the coming and goings of the boats was very entertaining. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. We loved the proximity of the water, just a hop skip and a jump. Having the pub and restaurant stumbling distance away was also very handy. Patonga has a lovely village feel and Margaret was a perfect host.

We loved our stay at Narabeen, easy parking, spacious, clean, and the location is perfect - right at beach front. Our family enjoyed our stay there, kids had fun learning surfing and playing the water , parents enjoyed the view from the garden and the walk along the coast. The house is fully equipped with dishwasher, aircon, etc; which made our stay comfortable. James is also a super host, called us before and after our stay to make sure everything works well. We def. looking forward to book the place again.

This house is absolutely stunning, you will not want to leave. The view is spectacular, the inside was cosy and spacious, it looked like it was straight out of a magazine and perfect for a weekend to hang with friends. We will be back because we loved it so much! Thanks for being great hosts! We were lucky enough to get an early check-in and late check-out, which we appreciated greatly!

Easy, quiet and clean. Really close to the beach and added bonus of the pool. Macmasters also has a great ocean pool and park which we loved for our young family. House has modern appliances and has everything you need for your get away. Hosts are very accommodating. Highly recommended!

A fantastic spot to spend time with our family in a lovely neighborhood, so close to everything that is good about Sydney.

We had a great multi-family stay at Luke's home. The house was as described - the heated pool was fantastic, the pet friendly fenced yard was perfect and the house was large enough to gather in one area or break away and enjoy some peace downstairs or outside. The house was well stocked and included many board games and outdoor activities (table tennis, badminton, volleyball) for all to enjoy. We would definitely recommend this house, especially for large families.

The perfect getaway! Bundeena Base is family friendly and walking distance to town, shops and the beach. We had great time and we all appreciated the artistic impression the added the touch of color to our getaway weekend.

Perfect house for a big family holiday! 6 adults and 1 tween - plenty of space for everyone! Loved the open layout of the house and all the lovely windows! We made great use of the pool and we loved the short stroll to the beautiful Macmasters Beach. The pool & ping pong table got a lot of use with our crew and provided hours of entertainment! Would happily stay again anytime!

ALL the views is an extremely accurate description! Incredible home and amazing views! No room was a disappointment and being able to watch the sunrise over the water from your bed - divine! The infinity pool was so inviting. We were a large group of 14 of varying ages and there was something for everyone at the property. Bass was extremely helpful as was Gus the caretaker. We had the most amazing weekend and will be back again.

Fantastic host and property. Location amazing. Would highly recommend to all looking for a getaway just outside of Sydney City. House is on the doorstep of the beautiful Royal National Park.

A wonderful, spacious home for the weekend! We loved the neighbourhood, local park, beaches, and cafe at the top of the road. Grace was so kind to leave a few essential supplies including coffee vouchers for the local cafe. The bedrooms were a little warm (we are from Tasmania, so not used to 30+ degree weather) but the ceiling fans helped. The main level has air con and we stayed cool at the beach. Cronulla is a nice area. We would love to come back and explore more. Thanks for everything!!

We loved the house. It rained for most of the weekend but the residence was the perfect space for ten people. Close to the beach and effortless to access.

Our group had an amazing stay. The house was well equipped for 10 people, I was especially impressed with the well-stocked kitchen utensils and walk-in pantry. Quiet and peaceful area very close to the beach, though not too far from shops and restaurants. Appreciated Brent's prompt and friendly communication.

Loved our stay, was very quirky, clean and comfortable. It’s a quintessential Aussie beach shack with plenty of space and fitted out with everything you could want or need & lots of unique touches. The yard is extremely secure for any pets and walking distance to the beach, the dog park and cafes. Would highly recommend !!!

Stuart couldn’t have been more accommodating and responsive to our needs We all loved the accommodations including our granddaughter who kept mentioning “Stuart’s house” had this and that :)
