Family-friendly holiday rentals in Syddjurs Municipality

Christian's house is very cozy, with many facilities to enjoy as a family. It was perfect for us since we were coming to visit family that lives in Mårslet. We travel 4 adults with 3 little girls and we were very comfortable, we enjoyed small and old. Spacious house with adult areas and play areas for small ones. Large garden to enjoy sunny days and with forest areas and green areas to enjoy nature around, two supermarkets very close to buy everything you need, with some places to eat and drink a walk away. With the ease of going by bus or train to the center of Århus. We loved movie nights while the little ones slept comfortably and days in the center of Århus or the beach for peace of mind. Everything is really perfect! Thank you very much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

We had a wonderful holiday at Børge. The house is wonderfully quiet., so that we could completely relax. The house is beautifully decorated,clean and very well equipped. The terrace is fantastic. You can walk very quickly to the harbor. Børge was easy to reach as he lives next door in the house. A very kind person. I'm sure we'll be back !

Had a lovely stay at Jacob's summerhouse, with all the amenities and warmth needed. Nice to have a closed off garden with sauna and hottub. Easy to get to the beach and into town. Highly recommend.

We spent a week over New Year's in Lene's cozy and hygge cottage in Rude Strand. We had a wonderful week despite the poor weather. The sauna definitely helped. :-) The sandy beach is just across the street and was perfect to walk along and dip (winter bathing). Aarhus is a 30 minutes drive away and an awesome city to explore. Many nice shops, museums, cafes and restaurants. There is a very nice bakery with a small store in walking distance (2km) and nice supermarkets in Odder. We will come back if in the area...

An incredibly beautiful space, with a huge bus stop for the kids. Short distance to beach and Djurs summerland.

Great place to stay and relax in the Hygge way of life. A lot of sport equipment, we played table tennis, badminton, soccer, and a lot of things for yoga, jacuzzi on top of that - we couldn’t be bored! Well equipped kitchen, comfy leaving room, we were 2 families with kids and there was plenty of space. Pretty seashore nearby, slightly calmer water at the other side of peninsula (ca. 1000 m). Copenhagen is 1,5h away, Roskilde less than an hour. Summing up, great place! Recommend!

House was very spacious with a lovely garden, and very close to the number 15 bus stop for an easy 15 minute ride into the centre of town. In a peaceful location with a park across the road which was a real bonus for my kids. Christine was very responsive and helpful with any requests. We would come back again and would recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Birgitte's place in Hjortshøj! The house is a very lovely and hygge space. We loved the kitchen/living/dining room with it's large windows and cozy furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped. The three large bedrooms downstairs worked well for our needs. We just felt very at home there and our stay was a big highlight of our trip to Denmark. The neighborhood was really lovely too, such a sweet little group of houses with its own playground which our kids absolutely loved. We really enjoyed how green and quiet the neighborhood was, and we loved all of the little paths to explore. It was very easy jumping on the letbane to get into Aarhus, but it was also helpful having a rental car to get around. We hope to come back soon!

Very cozy little apartment in which we felt very comfortable about the rainy days at the end of the year. Quietly located, not far from the city and yet close to nature.

Loved Kennet's cabin. We were five adults and two small children and there is enough space for everyone. The wood-burning stove was enough to heat the house in a blink of an eye had the house 28 degrees. We don't need to use the electrical rating. The market is a five minute drive. Ebeltoft is a 10-minute drive. We loved the house and the place, if we would like to return. Kennet is always ready to help and answer our questions very quickly. Thank you very much Kennet, we had a wonderful winter holidays 🙏

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim's place! The house is so lovely same as discribed in the pictures ,very neat and clean plus the view is amazing !!! 😍 The kitchen has all the tools and I enjoyed preparing our food while looking at the beautiful view in the window . Kim was actually there when we arrived , to greet us ! Aside from the beautiful view and quite surrounding , what we love the most is that there are available activities for the kids ,like indoor swimming pool and playground. In the main building where the reception is located , has a mini store where you can find most of the things you need for your stay. The only comment we have that maybe can improve a bit is the internet connection . There are times that the connection is weak when we are watching movie , but its not that bad . All in all ,I can definitely recommend this place 💯 👌 . Perfect place for family. We definitely like to come back again . Thank you Kim 😊

We really liked the place. It was very bright and cozily furnished. Especially the view of the water gave us a pleasant feeling. Kim responded quickly and was very friendly. Glad to come back!

We had a great week with our friends (10 adults and 11 kids)! The amenities corresponded to the photos. Particularly practical is the layout of the house: upstairs are the large living & dining area as well as the kitchen anyway. In the lower area is the pool and activity room. So we could play table tennis etc. downstairs if the kids were already asleep upstairs. The view of the horse paddock and the sea is super nice. We would have preferred to take the view home with us. The house was clean upon our arrival except for a few small things. We have clarified these directly with DanCenter. The communication was very friendly and answers came quickly at all times. The beautiful village of Ebeltoft can be reached in 5 minutes by car or about 20-30 minutes walk to the supermarket/place. Conclusion: we would definitely book the house again.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was great, making it easy to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again—highly recommended!

Beautiful cottage with beautiful views and heated pool, which was especially great for the children in bad weather. In some places, the house is a bit outdated and needs some attention soon, but not so massive that it would have bothered us to relax. Ebeltoft is an incredibly great city!

A very welcoming cottage, with lovely decor. There were all the things you could want during the holidays, such as lots of outdoor furniture, barbecue and kitchen utensils, chrome cast, etc. However, we found that the beds were of low quality which challenged the sleep during our stay. Despite this, we want to come back due to the charm and possibilities of the house.
