We didn’t have too much time to appreciate this spacious accommodation, but the time spent there was great… peaceful part of town, but close to all that’s going on in the area.

We absolutely loved staying at Elanda’s beautiful cottage. It was so surreal. The nature around you is stunning and so peaceful. We felt so at home and extremely relaxed from start to finish. The view is so much better than any picture can display and the cottage has everything and more we could need. Elanda was a wonderful host and answered every question we had. She welcomed us and made our stay so comfortable. We were already planning our next trip back while being there.

We booked a stay at Harriet’s place when we signed up for Meiringspoort half marathon. It was beautiful and felt like home away from home. Spacious and clean. Harriet and John were extremely welcoming. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed overnight at Jan's Grysbok Country House on our way to Cape Town - the house is huge with lots of space for big groups, and well equipped with a very nice outdoor braai area. Jan and his wife Karen were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The 2 grysbok in the garden are wonderful to see up close, as are the fallow deer in the adjoining field. Lots of birdlife in the garden too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (which was way too short) at De Waenhuis. Zelma was so helpful and quick to respond and we slept very comfortably in the beautifully curated room. The decor was so tasteful and the hot tub/pool was such a welcome bonus and the view of the stars from there was amazing. Cant wait to go back!

This is one of the jewels of the Klein Karoo - from the moment we set foot there, we felt relaxed and at home with Petro’s warm welcome. Highlights were the exquisite view from the porch where we sat for hours taking it all in, taking a dip in the farm swimming pool and having a braai at the cottage. Well equipped - and definitely a destination we’ll visit again.

A Perfect Romantic Getaway in Oudtshoorn My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming little cottage in Oudtshoorn for three nights, and it was absolutely magical. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a cozy and romantic atmosphere. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the mountains, which provided a serene backdrop for our stay. The hot tub was an added luxury, perfect for relaxing under the stars after a day of exploring. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a secluded and romantic getaway, making it feel like a home away from home. Nathalie was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more special. We will definitely return to this hidden gem whenever we need to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommended!

Greg & Sam, are amazing hosts. They let me know which dirt roads are the best for travel and kept me up to date with information about the area. As a keen hiker, I was invited to hike with them in Rooiberg Mountains and experience its pristine beauty, which is food of the soul. Thank you for the generosity of sharing veggies from your garden, and gift of staying at the Happy Place!

Good place to stay! We do recommend tomake a stop for couple of nights. I only wish the rooms would still have the deco they have on the pictures.

Such a unique and lovely place! We didn’t leave the cottage for a whole day and just enjoyed the pool and the views! Some things to pay attention to if you consider booking: There’s no WiFi, but perfect cellphone coverage; there’s basically just one room with shower and toilet integrated without a proper door to the bedroom area; there’s just one gas stove for cooking - we’d recommend to use the outdoor Braai instead ;) These are no disadvantages, just ask yourself if it’s the right fit for you before booking. This place is stunning. Felt like a farmhouse cottage, I do however recommend it for not more than two guests even though the listing said you could. The sleeper couch was nit comfortable for our friend. Other than that, it was a great experience.
