A Truly Beautiful Apartment in the Heart of Haugesund This apartment felt more like a private house in the center of Haugesund. We were genuinely surprised by its size, as it spans three floors and even has a rooftop terrace. The living room is spacious with a huge sofa where three people can lounge like royalty while watching TV. The TV itself is the biggest we have ever seen in an apartment, and the surround sound system takes the experience to another level. The sound was so powerful that we were almost afraid to turn it up too high. With HBO, Netflix, and other streaming services available, it was so comfortable that we almost didn’t want to leave the apartment. Kris and Maria are wonderful hosts, very friendly and responsive. The apartment even comes with its own garage, making everything even more convenient. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haugesund. It was a perfect stay!

What a view. I mean, WHAT A VIEW! The home is very comfortable and well stocked with necessary kitchen items and linens. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom hallway has a door at the end which creates excellent sound proofing between the sleeping area and the kitchen/living room. The back garden is absolutely exquisite (the owners run a gardening shop I believe - and it shows what talents they are!). The owners were also very nice when we accidentally checked out late - we had the checkout time wrong. But they were super cool and understanding. Oh, and did I mention the view??? Amazing! :-) The little town down the road (about ten minutes downhill and fifteen minutes uphill) is charming. There’s a nice cafe and two groceries. The beach (also about 10 min away) is dotted with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and grills for public shared use. We really had a lovely time! I would definitely return again, and hope to do so soon. One note - there is a guest house on the same property that is also rented out. There’s a somewhat divided area of the garden for the guest house, so we barely noticed the other guests and it was no problem at all. But just wanted to note because we didn’t realize in advance.

We were 3 adult people and a dog who spent two nights at Olaug's place. Her home is very cozy and has everything you need. Lots of beds, large sofa and large dining table. Lovely garden with lots of bird life, and wonderful surrounding area. Lots of nice nearby hiking areas and. Communication and check-in without any problems. We'll be sure to come back. We had a lovely time in this house. All the amenities were there, it was very clean and Astrid is very welcoming. Communication with Astrid was very pleasant. We would certainly recommend this house.

Have stayed with John Einar almost every time I'm at Stord for studies. That the place is so cozy and inviting with a fire on the fireplace in winter and with a fantastic sunrise over the fjord makes me really feel free to relax and come down when I'm there. John Einar is an incredibly welcoming and nice host. Highly recommend this place!

Nice, clean and nice little home with everything you need in Haugesund. A short distance to the city center Host was very nice and proactive with good info ahead of arrival, so one knew korleis kome inn, park etc. Extra nice welcome snacks in a small basket. 😊

Tatsiana and Håvard are really nice and helpfull people. They were helpfull in every situation and also informed us about the shining Polar Lights. Håvard supported us to pull our car out of the deep snow. The communication was awesome and all questions were answered very fast. We are all convinced about Tatsiana and Håvard.

Solveig & Dag's house is a gem! It is located with stunning views of beautiful nature with fjords and mountains. There are hiking trails that start from the door and others located in the mountain areas or along the fjord nearby. The house is well equipped and Solveig and Dag provide what may be missing. They also have good advice and tips on trips and activities in the area. The house is part of the farm and there are sheep in the lia below the house. Exotic for us from the city and fun for those with kids. It can be convenient by car for action and excursions. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come again!

The house is even nicer and bigger than you could see on the pictures. We did not use the boat house on the side, but it offers a good opportunity to spend time by the water in any weather. The hosts are very kind, we were greeted directly and we were shown the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was excellent! Bente is an extremely accommodating host who welcomed us warmly. The property is in a beautiful location, ideal for nature lovers. We were particularly enthusiastic about the nearby hiking trail and the many fish we could catch in the area. It was a pleasure to be here.

The host Lene was very friendly and helpful. The location of the accommodation is perfect to explore the entire archipelago of Bømlo and take many beautiful hikes. The amenities of the place left nothing to be desired and the beds were super cozy. There is shopping nearby. The communication was quick and easy. Thank you for everything!

We spent a great 2 weeks in beautiful Norway with Bente. A super nice landlady who gave us good tips and spoiled us with delicious pancakes. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful cottage and just enjoyed the peace, nature, fishing from the boat or even from the shore. We can only recommend vacationing at Bente in Norway. We had a lovely 10 days in the accommodation and felt very welcome. We received self-produced information videos before arrival, there was a delicious little attention and good advice on possible tours in the area. The hosts are very kind, helpful, and will certainly continue to develop the space. There are actually no other public structures in the surrounding area. The nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes away by car.

Geir was an extraordinarily nice host. He welcomed us with beer and juice, showed us the surroundings, lent us fishing (which we even caught fish!) and let the children walk with his dog - a highlight for the kids. In an emergency with one of the children, he was immediately there and drove with us to the next health center where he had already called for us. We are very impressed with so much helpfulness that we have already met in other places in Norway. The terrace of the house is wonderful and the journey to great hiking trips was a maximum of one hour. Thanks for the good experience!

We loved our stay here! The check in was easy, the home was lovely with everything you would want and need with a gorgeous outside area which would be perfect with some good weather, plenty of space for parking and the area was very quiet. All with a very helpful host who was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!
