Holiday rentals with breakfast in Surry Hills

Wendy’s place had everything we needed and more for out stay. The fridge full of breakfast things was such a nice touch! Great clean space with lovely balconies, so close to Watson’s bay!

We loved our shift stay at Linda’s place. She let us check in early (very grateful after a bit long haul flight with sick kids) and even check out late. The house is a quiet seaside location. Just the short break we needed after a 5wk European vacation. We could see the 9pm new yr fireworks from balcony. But sadly we’re too jet lagged to stay awake until midnight. We’d love to stay again next time we r in Sydney, Thanks so much Linda!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. G’s home had everything we needed and we loved the pool and outdoor patio. It was so nice being in walking distance of a cafe and just a short drive to shopping centers and the beach. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location was excellent for access to restaurants, cafes, pubs & public transport to the city. We loved the garden & the character of the original old home. Jennifer was a lovely host & very responsive. The info of the local area was excellent. Jennifer made us feel very welcome & we loved the thoughtful breakfast supplies. Thank you Jennifer.

Phou’s place was a great location for a group stay, perhaps better set up for groups with couples or for large families (all double beds with makeshift singles) than groups with unrelated adult singles where bunks or twin rooms would have helped. Apart from this, Phou was responsive, helpful, the flat had everything we needed including a crock pot Phou bought for us on request. Very easy to stay there and get around all regions of Sydney as close to multiple train stations and the bus network. I recommend this place for unrelated groups of 4-6, for groups with multiple couples, or for larger family groups where sharing a bed is not a problem.

This stay was exactly what we needed plus some. We will book it for future events in the area. It is old style spacious in every way, and that just brought with it a feeling of relaxation. We didn’t have it at full guest capacity, but it’s so big that it could easily take 6 people. The full sized kitchen was well stocked both in herbs and spices, and utensils, which is important for us since we don’t eat out. The 80’s architecture was homely and comforting in its warm tones. There was a feeling of privacy. A top stay.

This is a superb location and make sure you walk down to the beach. Thomas is an attentive and helpful host. Lovely touches like wine and breakfast fixings add to the experience. Wonderful and we’ll be back.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Clovelly. It was fantastic being just out of the city & short walk to the beach & the Bondi walking track. The upstairs apartment was perfectly appointed; we had everything we needed, the bathroom had excellent light, the beds were comfortable with quality linens and the apartment was spotless! There was plenty of parking in the street which made getting around easy. The apartment is 5 minutes from Bondi or Coogee & 15 minutes to the city. We loved being by the coast & would absolutely recommend the apartment & location. Thanks Ryan & Claire.

In a good spot walkable to many inner west neighborhoods and an easy bus ride into CBD. The bedroom was very quiet despite the apartment being on busy Parramatta Road. Hosts were friendly and communicative!

Great place in a great location. Easy few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars in Coogee. Would recommend this spot.

Amazing place to stay, exactly as described, and at a very reasonable rate. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! One thing to consider - the AC is in the main bedroom and does not cool the 2nd bedroom at all, which is down the hallway and around the corner. There is a nice ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom which made it feel okay, but it was a bit too warm for my liking regardless. Regardless, the location and views cannot be beat.

After a few day's at a resort down the coast it was amazing to stay at Ollie's - a place that really feels like home. Ollie is so kind and accommodating, and we really appreciated his hospitality with the treats left in the house. The space is cozy and comfortable, the pool and rooftop really exceptional, and the shower pressure totally unexpected. It is super handy to public transport and easily walkable to many excellent restaurants, and was about a $30 cab to the airport in the morning (was sad to leave so soon). We loved it here and would gladly come back - thanks Ollie! :D

Great location, within walking distance of the Harbour and great links to CBD and Bondi Junction. Check in was super easy and flexible. Having laundry facilities was super useful as well. Would highly recommend!!

Enjoyed our brief stay. Very close to cafes, shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Wifi was excellent too as my husband relied on it to do some remote work. We found this apartment very comfortable. Thekla was a wonderful host and even made us a loaf of Artisan bread! Thank you!

Thanks Nives and Perry for your kind hospitality. The bread and fruit and supplies on arrival were much appreciated. The apartment was just what our family needed and very functional. The location is very convenient with secure parking underneath and walk through access for Coles and cafes. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering a stay in Leichhardt.

Vik's places was ideal as it was around the corner from where my son is living. There were plenty of thoughtful extras which we were grateful for. Buses to Bondi beach (also walkable) and central Sydney were perfect for our needs. Thanks Vik!

Linda rightly deserves the title of Superhost. She makes you feel welcome and at home from the very first moment. It was a super nice stay.

Min was super lovely and accomodating for my mum that I booked this stay for! Communicating was seamless and easy and she even helped to drive my mum to the bus stop one day when she needed help last minute. I highly recommend Mins place and her as a host. A very seamless experience :)

The stay at Bob Reed's house was a 10 out of 10. My decision to book that room was based on the photograph that illustrates the offer: a pleasant atmosphere with a magnificent view, in one of my favorite corners in Manly. To my surprise, everything exceeded my expectations, from the level of cleanliness to the quality of every detail it offers. The host is a person of exquisite sensitivity, who has lived and traveled extensively, with whom you can share interesting and fun talks, but who knows how to respect the privacy of his guest. I would definitely stay at Bob's Fairlight Gardens again.

Harold is warm, considerate, interesting and generous, always willing to help out with a lift should you not have a car. He’s extremely down to earth and the type of guy whom you feel like you’ve known for a long time soon after meeting him. The space is roomy, clean, comfortable and also inhabited by a couple of friendly dogs who brighten up your time spent there. I shouldn’t forget the birds who regularly visit mornings l. I enjoyed using the pool and the hot tub which, for me, added a lot of pleasure to my stay. I had a chance to meet one of his daughter’s,Emmy, and her beautiful cat Slayer and that made it feel like a sweet family affair. I’ve already booked a return visit

Alison was very friendly and responsive during our stay. We stayed 10 days as a couple. Eastern suburbs has much to do ..Beaches, restaurants, sightseeing. We have good experience of the area so perfect for us. Hosts were very friendly and we shared a glass of wine one evening. We would return again if available. Having a car parking space was handy for us although a car is not required to explore area. Apartment was clean and we relaxed after busy days. Place does not have a full kitchen but fridge/microwave and drink making facilities. Bathroom/ Bedroom good and plenty of wardrobe space. Enjoy!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Cox Cottage. Annette was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the cottage, providing helpful information and its history, including local restaurants on arrival. We found it very quiet and enjoyed walking to the lake or having a drink on the verandah in the afternoons. I particularly enjoyed watching the little wrens in the garden each morning. During our stay we found the cottage to be very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four and two friends. There were plenty of towels, linen etc on hand. They also very kindly provided breakfast essentials for our first night. As we had driven from Queensland, this was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend their wonderful cottage to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lea was an excellent host, attentive, helpful and highly responsive with communication prior to and during our stay. She provided clear, accurate housekeeping instructions and we felt very comfortable in the retreat. We loved the quiet, leafy neighbourhood, on street parking, and surrounding park lands...great for walking. Lea had thought of everything, all the conveniences needed, a private space and generous breakfast provisions.
