Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Suomussalmi

50 + old full brick house. Thoughtfully renovated. Everything you need was also found in the kitchen. The house has an air source heat pump. Having travelled a lot, I can say that a positive surprise. Good beds and pillows.

A cattle farm in the middle if nowhere. We had a whole house to ourselves. They were very friendly and nice. We had everything we needed. We even got to see the baby cows which was a huge plus! If you are in the area we can totally recommend to stay here!

Excellent stay. Well equipped and super location

The space is an absolute dream. The house is completely surrounded by nature. Right next to the house there is a husky farm for sledding. The place is super well equipped. There's nothing missing. The sauna and jacuzzi were super relaxing. The size is sufficient. If you want to switch off for a few days and are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Since the accommodation is so remote, you absolutely need a rental car. An absolute recommendation. We will come back

We felt very comfortable in Mervi's house for the second time. Mervi is a lovely host and responds immediately to questions. The house and surroundings offer many opportunities to relax.

Friendly welcome. Apartment in an old stone floor house, minimum furnishings, but a good bed was important. The hostess kindly arranged an electric place for the car, a special thank you.

I spent a wonderful month in this beautiful location, and it was absolutely perfect. The stunning surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and breathtaking views made it a fantastic escape into nature. The well-maintained cross-country skiing infrastructure was a highlight, with some trails even illuminated for evening outings. Despite heavy snowfalls, access was easy thanks to well-cleared roads. The accommodation was fully equipped, making the work & travel experience seamless. Clear instructions and excellent communication from the friendly, helpful host made the stay even better. This place offers the perfect balance of nature, tranquility, and convenience. I would love to return in the future and relive this unforgettable experience!

Very nice, the accommodation had a "luxurious" feeling close to the slopes, beautiful surroundings, lovely view. Extra plus for the steam room after a day on the slopes. Sanna responded quickly if there was anything, very nice treatment, happy to come back!

Cottage in a good, quiet location. We found everything we needed and more in the cabin. A cozy place in every way and doing business with Hanna is friendly. Would love to go again! 😊

Overall, the place was great and matched the description. The space was clean and there was everything you need, it was easy to settle in, the milieu also looks like it. There was room for the dog to stumble, and there were great funnel rollers nearby. We'd love to visit again.

The cottage is just as pictured and described, typical and wonderful! Sauli was very kind and was always available and made us find the house on, heated and cozy. The area offers extensive sports activities and with children it was a great experience. Highly recommend!

We spent some wonderful days at Marie's cabin. From the beginning we were received super friendly and Marie was very helpful and accommodating. The cabin had everything your heart desires and we were very well supported by the hosts for every concern. The house is absolutely quiet and located right on the lake and ideal for enjoying nature. We were able to recover very well and would come back anytime. We miss the five cute huskies, who guarded us well and the idyll already! Thank you Marie, you are a great host! It was amazing! Adorable little cottage in privacy and still a short distance from everything. Excellent sauna. Marjametsä was right next door and reindeer saw, once even almost in front of the stairs of the cottage. I recommend this place to everyone. I'd love to come back.
