Beach house holiday rentals in Sunset Beach

This was our second stay at the villa, Abigail meets and greets and keeps the villa scrupulously clean. The location of the villa is second to none, fabulous views from the lounge and all bedrooms. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away using a short cut from the end of the road. Lots of restaurants, the Woodcutters pub, markets and shops are in easy reach. We love the villa which is spacious and is easy to share with friends. A huge thank you to Abigail for looking after us.

A perfect spot to stay in Melkbosstrand. 1 house down from the beach path, easy to walk to all the good local restaurants but still very quiet and secure. Irene was so helpful, friendly, approachable & responsive. Would definitely stay there again when in Melkbosstrand.

Jodi was very helpful and the house is wonderful. Very conveniently located, lots of space for a multi generation holiday and the host was always around to help with questions. This felt like a home away from home and has amazing views and artwork. We loved our stay. The pool is small, but we knew that from the photographs. It is fine for a quick dip to cool off. It is at the bottom of the garden so was in the shade when we went in. This isn’t a negative as we were expecting it but I think it is worth flagging.

This was a perfect base for my stay in Cape Town for the conference I attended. Amazing view over the Atlantic, lovely deck on which to lounge, have a morning coffee, work at the laptop outside. It's also well placed for getting to either Camps Bay or the City centre, and Uber pickup on Victoria road is really easy. There is one restaurant nearby so you need to walk to Sea Point (10 mins) for all the shops/amenities. Also good as a running route going through Sea point along the ocean path. Although it has no AC I stayed there in high temperatures and kept the front sliding door open, it was nice to hear the waves crashing at night. Thoroughly recommend.

It was a lovely home and the location was spot on! We could not ask for better Thanks Lieze for all the info and quick response we will definitely be in touch we loved it and want to go back!!

The Airbnb is amazing such a great house and amazing location with great views of sunset. The house was immaculate. But even better than the house is Naomi who is an incredible host and does so much to ensure we had a great holiday

We had such a fabulous stay at Vicci’s beautiful cottage. We couldn’t fault our accommodation, such a lovely spot, and so nice to have a pool,as well as walking distance to the stunning Llandudno beach! One of the great things about the cottage was the variety of spaces to sit out and eat…either in the sun or not! Thank you for having us The Powell party of 5!

What an incredible week at the beach. The house is awesome and Elizabeth is such a wonderful woman and looked after us so well. Can’t wait to go back!

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

We had a wonderful stay at Bernie’s place :) great location , great amenities and the rooftop was the real highlight! She was a lovely and communicative host and even made extra accommodations for our baby which was super kind of her. We would be delighted to stay again!

The property is even more impressive in person compared to the pictures, Bibiana facilitated the entire process. We really enjoyed our stay .

Loved Brianna and Bradley's place. Stunning architecture, fabulous lighting and beautiful views of the mountain from strategically placed windows. The photos don't do it justice. The pool is clean and a delicious treat and the lovely, well-kept garden is protected from the wind. We ran out of gas but Brianna was very responsive and delivered a refill quite promptly. The outside shower was definitely a boon. The unique Shell-shaped kitchen wall/enclosure made for an interesting "space within a space". The mezzanine creates a cosy tv room at the bottom and comfy WFH space on top. Wifi reception throughout the house was great. I absolutely recommend this gorgeous home and will definitely be back!

I had an amazing experience at Lance’s place. The house lived up to the photos clean, stylish, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, with plenty to explore nearby. Lance was communicative, welcoming, and offered great local recommendations. I felt right at home! I recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic family holiday at Natalie’s home. It is in the perfect location in Hout Bay, a short walk to the beach and the main parade of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. The house is beautiful, very spacious, modern and fully equipped with everything you need for a ‘arrive and go’ holiday. We cooked lovely meals in the fully equipped kitchen and the two bedrooms are super comfortable. Having private secure parking is a huge advantage in the area, as is having a private pool with amazing views over Hout Bay. We cannot wait to return! Thank you!

We stayed in the place for 14 days, 2 couples. We very much enjoyed our time. The house matches the description, is beautifully designed and well maintained. The outside area is well-thought trough, provides sun-protection when sitting outside and offers amazing views over Cape Town and Table Mountain. The house offers 3 bedrooms distributed over 3 floors. A bit of a negative is that although you can close the doors, privacy can be an issue as it is not fully sound proof. Lightning could be better in the bathrooms, but design won over. The service was great, cleaning excellent and the pool was well maintained. The surroundings are great, plenty of coffee places for an easy breakfast, bars and supermarket nearby. Easy to go for a morning run to Green Point and Sea Point. We loved it and highly recommend the place. Thank you.

This was our first time staying at air bnb accomodation for more than a week, the experience was good. We will visit again and refer family and friends.

A beautiful beach house in Bakoven, just a short walk down the road to the beach in a safe neighborhood. Very spacious with everything we needed. Great barbecue! Bootlegger Café is right next door. The cleaning lady is an absolute gem. Would definitely book again!

The place is safe , clean , comfortable and quiet. It’s situated in an upmarket neighbourhood and has its own entrance. The self catering cottage has everything that you would need for your stay. The kids really enjoyed the private outdoor seating area. Zhong is welcoming and friendly. He provided us with complementary dumplings, in veg as we preferred - thank you 🙏🏼 it was delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back. See you soon

The house is a dream, the photos do not show the size of the house, it is so spacious and well divided. The location is great, you can easily walk to the beach. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. Ella was always immediately available and we had a great time! Thank you Ella!

I had a great stay at Yi's with my family. Plenty of room and the area close enough to walk to the beach. Yi was really responsive at all times and sorted out an issue at check in promptly. We would love to visit again!

What a dream holiday for us all! Made especially special by the very attentive, supportive and helpful staff! Jenny, Thandi and Raphael who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the super-best. With 11 people to look after they made this a holiday of a lifetime! From the great welcome drinks and snacks when we arrived and not to forget all the meat, wine and lovely flowers! This was truly a start to a wonderful holiday! Nothing was an issue for Jenny, Thandi or Raphael, from Jenny helping and dropping off medication to recommending a local Dr, which was closely located and very friendly and following up to ensure everything was in order. Thandi/Raphael the house maid and gardener went out their way to ensure our stay was a happy one, from doing washing to helping to blow up the kids inflatables, nothing was a chore for them! And finally, the location is perfect with stunning views of Hout Bay and the mountains, just a small piece of 'Heaven' became ours for two weeks!

Simply stunning. My family and I felt like millionaires for 10 days in Feb 2025 when we were lucky enough to stay in Linzi's magnificent home. Waking up to direct views of Lion's head mountain and the ocean will live long in the memory. I doubt there are any properties in Camps Bay that offer better views. The house is fully equipped with every single item you will ever need, the house is pristine and very, very well cared for and clearly loved by the owners, who are very attentive, kind and welcoming and will give you as much interaction as you want. Linzi gave us some amazing tips and recommendations. You simply MUST book in at Hussars grill. As a location, Camps Bay is as stunning as the house, the views, the host and everything else connected with this AirBNB, there are great restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets and of course the pristine beach a mere 5 minute car ride away. Its super easy to get to from the airport and to get into Cape Town. We adored our stay in Cape Town.
