Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sunapee

We had an amazing stay! The home looked even better than the photos—spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Towards the end of our trip, a snowstorm hit, and Yulia and Mark shoveled the driveway/walkway for us before we even woke up, which was greatly appreciated. The sauna was a perfect way to unwind after a day of skiing, and the views were absolutely stunning. There is a very cute town nearby that has everything you could need throughout your stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in Vermont! We will be back!!

The house was great and had everything we needed for a few nights skiing at Ragged. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and the coffee bar was a nice perk. We enjoyed the hot tub after cold days of being outside. Steve sent clear instructions leading up to the stay and was responsive to questions during the stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is amazing. Clean, close to the slopes and super cosy. Host is the best we have dealt with. We got almost a foot of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed first thing in the morning. We’ll be back😃

This is my second time staying at Hilary’s home, and for good reason! My family loved gathering by the fireplace everyday, using the hot tub and sauna, and cooking dinners for our group of 8 in the well equipped kitchen every night! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Also love how close it is to the town of Woodstock (adorable with great shopping!) Hilary is very responsive and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point.

My group of adults had a wonderful stay at the Grist Mill! We loved the many living rooms, multiple dining spaces and the hot tub! We skiied at Killington which was further than Okemo but totally doable. Would absolutely stay again!

David’s home was the perfect place for some friends and me to spend a weekend ski trip. Plenty of space and lots of cool features, ie the “pool table” downstairs. Would definitely return!

This home was beautiful and very clean. The huge windows and loft with high ceilings made it a beautiful space with lots of light. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of linens along with extra blankets and towels.

A wonderful spot to get away for a weekend of skiing at the charming Pat's Peak. It was nice to explore Henniker a bit and this spot is right in the center of town. A family of five, we were very comfortable and the apartment is well maintained. We were there through a pretty significant winter storm and hosts kept on top of the snow removal so we were able to come and go from the mountain and some great local eateries (highly recommend Country Spirit and Rustic Rose). Thanks for a wonderful time!!!

Sandra's place is simply amazing. The setting right on the lake cannot be beat. The host provided so many thoughtful little extras that are not typical from an array of spices to bug spray and sun screen. We plan to come back and stay here again in the future.

This was one of our very best Airbnb experiences ! The hosts are very organized and great communicators, and the condo was ideal. Clean, nicely furnished, and very family friendly. It was an especially great place to stay with younger kids, which we've found can sometimes be a challenge. Thanks again for a lovely experience!

Perfect stay for us . We were able to ski as well as watch movies on the Roku tv during some windy , cold weather . Comfortable beds . Electric fireplace made the living area very cozy . We were able to visit family in the area and continue on to Ice Castles a bit north . We will be back when we can . Plenty of storage for bulky ski jackets and pants in coat closet . Didn’t use the washer and dryer but definitely would if we stayed longer . Thanks Tracy and Ryan . Ps very attentive snow removal during quite a storm. Also reached out to let us know they had some backup power ready to run the fridge and heat just incase. Super hosts indeed .

Tenney is the best kept ski mountain secret. Same vertical as Bretttonwoods and Attitash, but closer, cheaper, and no lift lines. and the terrain is super fun. Sofia was a great host. Very responsive and flexible. She got back to me immediately when I had questions. The unit is nicely decorated and equipped, though I was missing having a stereo/bluetooth speaker. The place was clean, comfortable, and the fireplace is great for winter ambience. I stayed with my wife, 3 young kids, and their grandmother and had a blast. As with nearly all ski condos, the noise separation could be better (hollow core doors etc), but we didn't hear anything from other units. no check out tasks was a plus, especially with 3 young ones. overall a great stay that I reccomend.

Great little place for a couple or a small family (at most 2 toddlers). Lots of stuff near by to everyone to do. The bedroom and the living room are a common room which was great for us because we all fell asleep at the same time after a fun and busy day!

This is what New England dreams are made of. Gorgeous wood, features, surroundings, etc. The beds were comfortable, it was very warm (we stayed here in the Fall), the property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace, access to our Netflix and Prime, the puzzles, and games. Fred's instructions were clear and easy to follow. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the nearby towns. We talked often about how we want to return with more family members. It was so memorable and perfect for our party of 4, but there's enough space for 8.

The location is terrific--overlooking the river and bridge but just a couple blocks to the main street. We were there during fall foliage season, and we were so glad to be able to leave our car and walk everywhere. The house itself looks just like the photos. We didn't use the kitchen or sauna, so no comments on that, but the bedrooms were nice and the beds, pillows, linens, and temperature were PERFECT for a great night's sleep!

We gathered with our adult children and their spouses for Thanksgiving week at this beautiful and tranquil estate. The owners have managed to deliver a property with the charm of a warm/cozy home, along with all the first class amenities that resemble a mini resort. We felt right at home. We watched college football games in the downstairs theater room, played boardgames, did lots of cooking and the occasional walk around the scenic property. It snowed on Thanksgiving morning! This home is squeaky clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances you could ever need. Comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, soft towels, the list goes on and on. Owner/property management are extremely helpful, accommodating and generously hospitable. We will definitely be back!

When we got to the mansion, Andy couldn’t be more welcoming from the time we got there til the time we left. It was even my son’s 18th birthday and they made a cake for him. He recommended good restaurants to eat at and we felt at home in a short time. We will definitely be coming back again thank you Andy for everything you went above and beyond our expectations. The place is historic and it was so cool the history there as well. Very peaceful place.

Great stay at this location. Owner was friendly and very responsive. This is a large home with a bedroom on the main floor and 4 others upstairs. The kids room we call the Peter Pan room as it is right off of another room with twin beds. So cute! The house has tall ceilings and big rooms with real beds in each one to suit your guests. The home is a very special place where you are minutes to Woodstock but have true privacy and amazing views. A great stay. Will be back soon.
