Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sunapee

We had a wonderful family winter getaway. Gorgeous view from the house. Spacious yet cozy (and warm!) house. The owner was responsive. Would return for sure.

I’m hesitant to write a review because this home is so FANTASTIC our secret will be discovered and it will be booked out everyday!!! The home is a perfect comfort place to relax with friends after a great day skiing. This is our second time reserving and we plan to do so next year. ❄️❤️

We had a wonderful stay!!! The space was incredibly quaint, with charming decor that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Everything was spotless, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The host clearly puts great care into maintaining the property and ensuring guests have a pleasant experience. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and charming getaway!

This is my second time staying at Hilary’s home, and for good reason! My family loved gathering by the fireplace everyday, using the hot tub and sauna, and cooking dinners for our group of 8 in the well equipped kitchen every night! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Also love how close it is to the town of Woodstock (adorable with great shopping!) Hilary is very responsive and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point.

This house was perfectly located for the activities we planned - tubing and ice castles! It was near some great eateries and it perfectly accommodated our large group and family pets! It was great for the winter but I imagine even better during the summer being so close to the lake!

Colin and Sara's home is absolutely stunning. It's in a beautiful location, close to so many of the many things that the NH Lakes Region has to offer. It's easy access to NH's main routes and the highway make getting around very convenient, and made it easy to visit with my family for the holiday. The work station is spacious - and has an amazing view! It made having to work remotely during the holiday enjoyable! My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our pups, and would love to stay here again in the future! We had snow Christmas Eve, and Colin ensured the driveway was plowed so that we were able to go to holiday dinner with family. Truly very thoughtful and caring hosts!

This is our third time spending Thanksgiving in this house. Jenn is always helpful and fast to answer questions. I loved that they finished the basement so the kids have an extra place to hang out and play some games. We are coming back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Julie’s place. Felt very homey and was just what we needed to get some sleep before skiing. Very close to Pats Peak so great location as well! We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Henniker.

This was one of our very best Airbnb experiences ! The hosts are very organized and great communicators, and the condo was ideal. Clean, nicely furnished, and very family friendly. It was an especially great place to stay with younger kids, which we've found can sometimes be a challenge. Thanks again for a lovely experience!

We had a great time staying here for our family ski trip at Mount Sunapee. It was as described and pictured. Cozy apartment that fit a family of four with two kids (5 and 3 years old). The beds are memory foam and had very soft linens. Full kitchen that includes and electric stove, however no dishwasher. The shower is operated by gently pulling down on the opening of the faucet. The apartment attached to a home over the garage and is in a private residential area. It is about 6 minutes from Mount Sunapee! We had dinner at the Wildwood Smokehouse in town and it was delicious BBQ and comfort foods. of note, it is a small place that takes customers on a first come, first serve basis. So plan accordingly! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely keep this place in mind for further trips back to Sunapee.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Sofia's ski lodge! We stayed there to be near Rumney Rocks, and the house was a perfect getaway after a long day of rock climbing. We hope to stay here again soon :)

Angela's place was the perfect spot for us for a long weekend of skiing in the Green Mountains. Great location and close to all the cute shops / restaurants in Woodstock as well. There was clearly a lot of thought put into ensuring the space had ample amenities and was well-suited for guests. Thank you for the great stay!

This is what New England dreams are made of. Gorgeous wood, features, surroundings, etc. The beds were comfortable, it was very warm (we stayed here in the Fall), the property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace, access to our Netflix and Prime, the puzzles, and games. Fred's instructions were clear and easy to follow. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the nearby towns. We talked often about how we want to return with more family members. It was so memorable and perfect for our party of 4, but there's enough space for 8.

The location is terrific--overlooking the river and bridge but just a couple blocks to the main street. We were there during fall foliage season, and we were so glad to be able to leave our car and walk everywhere. The house itself looks just like the photos. We didn't use the kitchen or sauna, so no comments on that, but the bedrooms were nice and the beds, pillows, linens, and temperature were PERFECT for a great night's sleep!

The host was helpful, responsive and generous. The location was nice, the restaurant/bar next door had good food and nice staff. The house was cozy and clean, with some thoughtful additions which gave it that extra touch.

We stayed in the separate wing (3 rooms with a shared living room). The Inn (including rooms) is exquisite.. full off historic charm and with a lot of attention to detail. The Innkeeper / Our host, Andy, was wonderful , anticipating every need of our rather large party (7 people) and going above and beyond to make sure we have a perfect stay. We look forward to coming back!

Such a great deal considering the price and amenities. The location was quite a drive from our destination but it was close to other places like Okemo and Woodstock. Beautiful surroundings. A warm full size pool in the winter time is unbeatable. Place was clean when we arrived. The building was quiet and peaceful. No issues with noise nor difficulty with checking in.

Great stay at this location. Owner was friendly and very responsive. This is a large home with a bedroom on the main floor and 4 others upstairs. The kids room we call the Peter Pan room as it is right off of another room with twin beds. So cute! The house has tall ceilings and big rooms with real beds in each one to suit your guests. The home is a very special place where you are minutes to Woodstock but have true privacy and amazing views. A great stay. Will be back soon.

Great facility! Pretty rural area but plenty to do at the resort. Well worth the price.

The hosts were very responsive and checked in with us. The staff at the Airbnb were very helpful and friendly.
