House holiday rentals in Sumter County

House was perfect for our needs. Didn’t want to have to go out to eat every night, and we were able to cook all our meals there. Also, house location is just minutes from any kind of store or restaurant you want. Overall, very pleased and would choose this place again.

This is a beautiful property, very spacious and accommodating. Absolutely loved the master suite, the balcony was an extra plus. The waterfall was the most serene view, with a natural white noise. Peaceful getaway. The chickens were very entertaining as well. The communication with the host was very thorough and welcoming. Altogether 10 out 10, definitely would recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed at this home and it suits us well. Both times it has been clean and comfortable I would recommend it to anyone.

Host was really nice and quick is response. Super understanding. There were 18 of us and never felt crowded. The place is huge. The kids had a lot of fun running around.

Vontae was an all around class act. We had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay around Americus. On a personal, my family’s return travel was complicated by a massive winter storm that hit Atlanta. Vontae proactively reached out and eased our concerns with his kind willingness to be flexible in the case of an emergency. Not only was every aspect of our visit phenomenal, it was his personal touch and the kindness in his heart that we will never forget!

Review: Our stay at the lake house on Lake Blackshear was nothing short of incredible! My family and I traveled 12 hours to spend Thanksgiving with my father-in-law, and this home provided the perfect setting for a truly memorable holiday. The views were absolutely breathtaking—watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch quickly became our favorite part of the day. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. We spent our days fishing and relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect as a family. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making the home welcoming and enjoyable for guests. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with stunning views and everything you need to relax, this lake house is the perfect choice. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cabin, looks exactly like the photos. Views were breathtaking. I loved waking up to seeing the lake views through the French doors right from the comfortable bed. We would love to go back in warmer months to be able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards.
