Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Summersville Lake

This little home was very cozy and cute. It was extremely clean with no strong fragrances from plug ins or laundry detergents. We are sensitive to strong, chemical smells and we were very comfortable here. It was a five minute drive to our destination, we lived the beautiful trees in the backyard and the surrounding houses were quiet. It was a peaceful stay! Thank you!

This place was clean and comfortable and the location was great for our purposes. Our host was great to work with and even tailored the stay according to our particular needs. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Oak Hill.

Our stay at Jessica's listing was very relaxing. The home is so welcoming and well stocked. Plenty of clean towels and kitchen was well equipped. Jessica was quick to respond when I had a question and so friendly. The area is beautiful and the town is quaint. Our family hiked on trails at New River and Summersville Lake. I would like to go back again during the summer to experience the area. We did most of our own meal prep but did have a meal at the local pub, Maloney's and it was delicious! Thank you for your kind hospitality Jessica and Summersville! It was fun!

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

This place was perfect for our wedding weekend at The Gaines Estate and everything is super walkable. The fire pit was perfect for hanging out with our friends and family in the evenings. Everything was super clean and the house was cozy. I would definitely stay here again!

Sweet house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Historic downtown Fayetteville and the Town Park. Very clean place with comfy beds and a warm gas fireplace to keep you toasty on a cold winter night. I would recommend this airbnb to all my friends, and who knows, maybe we'll be back?!

We had a delightful stay. The coffee bar had a huge variety and the snacks were plentiful. We had a great weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday. The large comfortable sectional sofa was a great place to hang out. Robert was welcoming and attentive and we would definitely stay again!

Denise’s home was beautiful. We were traveling with our one year old and he has lots of space to crawl around and play which was nice. I was very impressed with how clean the home was. There were few snacks and drinks available which was a nice touch. Denise was very patient and flexible with our check in time. The view was stunning! I wish we could have stayed longer and if we are ever in the area, we definitely will stay again. I highly recommend Denise’s home.

We visited the New River Royal Gorge National Park and other surrounding sites but wanted to stay out of the busier Charleston and Berkeley areas. Jim’s place was the perfect spot to be. We were in an apartment right beside the Kanawha River. The unit was modest but had everything we needed and was very quiet. Great spot.

The three days I was there it was chilly & it rained… so having the carport was really nice along with the space heaters too. Kitchen had everything I needed and loved having a washer/dryer. Great stay!

Amy's airbnb is in a great location. Right on the New River. I could sit on the deck and hear the falls/rapids. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of spices, coffee and tea. The wifi was excellent. Amy made sure all was comfortable. It snowed one day while I was there and early in the morning she placed ice melt on the stairs. I will go again.

The place was great for 3 adults & 3 children. Everything was clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable & clean. The view of the Elk river was a fav of everyone! Will definitely stay again when coming home to visit family!

We had a wonderful time at Angela & Jeff’s place and in the surrounding area. We hiked, biked, and zip lined and had a blast. Enjoyed several local restaurants too. Beautiful location at a comfortable, well-appointed place, we enjoyed our stay immensely, including the fire pit at night under the stars. They have thought of everything here to ensure your comfort and enjoyment and it shows!

Really appreciated Lucas’s quick response and flexibility to let us stay longer than listed to be able to have my procedures at local hospital. When we had WiFi issues he messaged and called to try to help us resolve them. The place was perfect for my husband and I to stay! Comfortable, cozy, great kitchen to reheat dinner and such! We had a great night there!

It was wonderful!!!! Elizabeth's was great! There was a mix up with which cabin we had but we switched & it was easy peazy!! The cabin we started in was awesome & the one we had rented was awesome! Elizabeth is so friendly & helpful. The cabin spacious & kitchen fully stocked. We loved it & had a great weekend! WiFi was such a lifesaver! The hill super fun to drive up! Took me back to my youth! We loved our mini stay here at Ace Adventure Park!! We will be back in season!! Looking forward to coming back!! Beautiful location, beautiful grounds, the things to do in the summer are all up our alley! Can't wait!

The location was super convenient as I was traveling to attend Bridge Day. The cabin looks just like the photos and it was easy to find. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful when I accidentally locked myself out of my cabin. And when I mentioned that the space heater that was provided was not working properly they replaced it for me. If you are looking for a no-frills, basic shelter and accommodations then this is it!

We had a very nice few days at Half-Pint. In spite of some bad weather it was still possible to get out and visit New River Gorge and the surrounding area from Tara's cabin. Beautiful location, cozy interior, and Tara's responsive hosting made for a very good trip.

This Airbnb was the perfect quiet getaway. Tucked away in the countryside, it was peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The mornings were beautiful, and the nights were great. The host was friendly and made sure everything was smooth. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape, this is the perfect spot. I’d definitely stay again!

We came down to whitewater raft and zipline with Adventures on the Gorge. The cabin was so close to Adventures on the Gorge. It is nice and secluded, and has everything you need for your getaway! The hottub was great after a long day of adventuring. The host gave great local recommendations and even stopped by our first night to see if we needed anything. Our two boys (10 and 12) enjoyed the woods around the cabin. The personal touches were amazing- fresh flowers on the table, fresh baked cookies, and souvenir glasses to take home! I have stayed many places, but this one is a favorite for sure!
