Family-friendly holiday rentals in Summerhaven

Enjoyed our week in Oro Valley this November. Weather was great. Unit was very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, movies. Great views of mountains both from front and rear of unit. Unit was fully equipped for an extended stay. Coming back again next year.

Not enough words to say what a great place this is. So beautiful and relaxing, you'll be tempted to stay and enjoy the scenery. That's despite all the close by activities to check out (Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemmon, Catalina State Park, etc) There's a local grocery store not more than 5 minutes away. Wonderful local wildlife you won't see if you choose a more "crowded" location. The perfect spot to unwind.

This place is SUPERB! The accolades stated elsewhere in the reviews are all accurate. And I’ll add that I especially appreciated Oasis Casita’s A+ organization (A place for everything and everything in its place! Plus lots of hooks for hanging and even a holder for your jewelry!).

We loved the Sam Hughes neighborhood. We had an easy walk to a couple of great restaurants (Tumerico and Flora's). Being able to walk to Himmel Park was a real plus for us and our dog. The kitchen was especially joyful to cook in as it had absolutely everything that I needed. It was nice to have matching dishes and silverware (and more than 4 of everything), too. Shanna was so helpful with restaurants recommendations and anything we needed. She is an excellent host.

This place is a true 5 star. We could stay here for a month or more. It was comfortable, nicely appointed and plenty of room for our stuff. Bed was great. Kitchen had more than we needed to fix most of our meals. The outdoor spaces were beautiful, peaceful and private. It was quiet at night and the neighborhood was nice for walking. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This location is perfect for foothills activities. Great private patio and access to the garage. This was the most well appointed home I've stayed in. We stayed 17 days and had everything we needed to make it our home. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything (right down to the meat thermometer). We had one question and Susan's manager texted back immediately.

Had a group stay here and it worked really well for us, bonus of having full size comfortable beds in every room, hot tub was a great amenity (though advice adjust temp carefully the on tub thermostat was def off showing a lower temp then it actually was!) still great, just needed to set it much lower then expected to be comfortable. House was good overall! Great value for the price and space.

The kitchen, with gas stove, cookware, and sharp cutlery were perfect for treating our Wildcats to a home cooked meal while away from home. The shelter & picnic table out by the pool were perfect for the family dinner. Great privacy in the yard & outstanding water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place to stay. It was very cozy and the location is close to almost anything you will want to do in Tucson. The antiques and botanical art was obviously chosen with care and adorns the place well. Our dog loved the private back garden. The bed was comfortable and the house has everything someone might need for a short- or long-term stay. This will be on our list of places to return to when we visit Tucson.

My communication with Teresa started even before booking. I was coming in for a convention and needed a slightly earlier check-in time. She responded immediately. I met her for access upon arriving and she kept it brief but highly informative. Very friendly and easy to talk to while also mindful of the time. Her place is impressively done, with ease of maneuverability, unique fixtures, and touches, plenty of light, and it was easy to control the temperature for comfort. Everything is in excellent condition. The neighborhood is desert with large lots. There were deer eating in the area that came over to the house to have a drink from the bird bath. A very peaceful and relaxing environment.

Maxwell's place was perfect for the two of us while visiting the University of Arizona. It was just a three block walk to campus and situated in a quiet neighborhood. The old style bungalow has been well taken care of with a well stocked, remodeled kitchen. Max was very responsive and answered my questions promptly. The off street parking was very nice to have and he let us park there early since we were visiting our grandson before check-in time. We definitely recommend Max's place and would like to stay here next time we visit the University of Arizona.

Very nice space - there's a selection of records to put on (Beatles, jazz, classical) and the kitchen had coffee, spices, teas, cooking tools etc. It was a cozy place to relax after work, services by buses, and the walk to downtown is about 20 mins.

Beautiful location with so many great and diverse people communities and views. So many Christmas lights it felt like Wonderland! Very comfortable and built for relaxation with relaxing Lazy boy recliners plentiful.

Great property, wonderful hosts, dog friendly, convenient west side location. Looking forward to staying again :)

Todd is a great host. We are working on the new school here and come down from Phoenix. Great house and everything is neat and clean. We will be back again

Delightful place, felt like we had experienced native Tucson. Had everything needed for good stay, even juice and pastries upon late arrival. Nicely situated for restaurants and excursions outside city. Would be happy living here!!

Top Notch. We’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnbs around the world and this is one of the very best. Comfortable, clean, quiet and roomy with many thoughtful touches. Russ even went above and beyond to help us watch a show. Hosts were attentive and helpful while maintaining privacy. Road biking on the 150 mi Loop Trail was about 10 minutes drive away as well as short rides in the neighborhood. Convenient location to all of Tucson.

David was a delight and the place is absolutely amazing. Centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood adjacent to the largest park in town. Also close to the airport. Lovely porch and living space for both cozy nights and for entertaining. The interior is also modern and fun!

Exactly what we needed for our time in Tucson. 4 adults were very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. For the value, we were impressed!

This house was perfect for a family gathering (8 of us staying there plus relative who lives nearby joining us for meals and games). Ping pong, basketball, billiards, and darts were all great fun. But what stood out was how helpful and communicative Vince was. Will stay here again as the chance arises. Highly recommend.

Laura was fantastic. She was sweet, she checked on me my first evening to see if i needed anything and brought me coffee and creamer for the next morning when it was already fairly late. Made a huge difference for me I'm the morning! I was there wanting some privacy due to personal reasons and she was totally respectful of that. Great people! =)

John and Adelle's place was a great find for us--centrally located, private, comfortable and well thought out. The apartment is an upstairs location with a giant window facing the beautiful Catalina Mountains. It is essentially a studio, one large room with bed, couch, a small table and chairs and a kitchen area (fridge, microwave, toaster) and a bathroom (which serves as your water source). Outside there is a pool area (covered since it's January) and the possibility of grilling. The space was very clean and had everything we needed. Adelle and John were great hosts and excellent communicators.
