The location is a minute walk away from Okubo station, which is one station away to Shinjuku Station. You can also walk 10 to 15 mins to the heart of Shinjuku. The main road of Okubo is very vibrant with loads of restaurants. I liked it, staying slightly away from super busy Shinjuku Station. The property is tiny but we were ok with it. All the little things are present and clean, eg washer and dryer (use Google translate to operate 😊), utensils, etc. We stayed in the two bedroom, which meant one of the loungerooms converts to a bedroom with the dining table you might see in the photos being completely folded away. If I return to this, I would ask for the dining table to be removed from the apartment to have a bit of extra space. It is honestly perfect if you can tolerate the space issue, the real Tokyo experience ✌️. Host is responsive, highly recommended.

We went Tokyo on 4 during winter in December. It was a pleasure for us to stay at Jang and Kate’s. The location is about 750meters from shinjuku station and shorter distance to subway station. Lots of restaurants and convenient store nearby that ease us to get what we need during the stay. Kate is so communicative and helped us a lot when we have any questions. The unit is clean and equipped with heather and bed heather that made our stay event more pleasant during winter. We enjoyed cooking and did our laundry in the unit. Overall, i recommend jang and kate’s unit for everyone comes to Tokyo and would like to choose Shinjuku as place to stay in.

This location was in a safe area, across the street from a playground. There were a lot of food options within a 5 min walk. The metro station was nearby and safe to walk at night. A bit tight for my 6ft tall boyfriend but overall it was cozy clean and quiet. Our host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Paul and Ben were awesome to communicate with, fast and responsive. They were flexible with our check in and check out times and offered solutions. The apartment was clean and tidy and very beautiful. The apartment is quite large for Tokyo close to amenities like Train stations, convenience stores, restaurants and shops. It was a pleasure to come back too after a long day exploring. Big thanks to Paul and Ben.

Nice place. The host is very responsive and accommodative. We arrived earlier and was allowed to do early check in. The place itself is nice and clean, with everything working properly. I also like the fact that it is within a stone throw to a convenience store and about 5 minutes to Skytree.

Great apartment to stay in. The location is really convenient, right by Akasaka station, which connects to many of the Tokyo metro lines. The listing also matched the pictures exactly. The host is incredibly responsive and communicated very clearly. The instructions to get to the apartment were also incredible. One improvement I would've liked is that the rug and pillows (not the pillow cases, but actual pillows) were pretty worn and dirty, so for the price I would've appreciated had they been replaced. Overall outstanding stay.

Small but very convenient flat. The area is very quiet, but a few nice restaurants and a little shopping street are nearby, two train stations not too far away. We chose the place because it is easy to get to Disneyland from here, where we wanted to be as early in the morning as possible. At the same time it is not too far away from the areas in Tokyo we wanted to visit. Any questions we had were answered in half an hour the most, which was very helpful. Also great, a small selection of hotel goodies at the entrance, shavers, toothbrushes and the like. Overall very good, can recommend.
