Holiday rentals with a pool in Sukuta

we really loved our stay at Petit Charlie It was a cosy, clean and beautiful place. the contact with Jade was great and also all the people who work in Forrest view are super kind. We would recomment everyone to stay in this place

Peter's place is by far the nicest place we have stayed in the Gambia. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There were plenty of options to sit comfortably outside and the pool is a good size and cleaned daily. The kitchen is very well equipped. Ebrima and Fo are lovely guys and couldn't do enough for us. The place is set in a quiet location however it is only a 10 minute walk to the main road. We were lucky enough to be visited by monkeys and a wide variety of birds.

Our stay at Afrikan Lux was absolutely amazing, and we would go back in a heartbeat! The photos you see online are exactly what you get – everything was just as expected. The space was incredibly clean, tidy, and spacious, and we really couldn't complain about anything. This was really African Luxury. Ms. York contacted us daily to check in and see how everything was going, which was a lovely touch. It's nice to have direct communication with the host, and she was always professional and helpful, even assisting us with transportation to Afrikan Lux. She's a very kind woman. A special thank you also goes to our host Modou, with whom we developed a wonderful connection. He was so warm, polite, thoughtful, and accommodating. We had great conversations, and he made our stay even more memorable. Everyday he helped us out to have transportation wherever we wanted to go to. Once again, our compliments to him! Imagine, if you will, traveling to a foreign country during a pandemic, arriving at the black of night, hassled by shady immigration officers, and having no local money. Absolute nightmare, but then swoops in the angels of mercy-Lorraine and Roy! They arranged for their driver to collect us from the airport, AND paid for our visa and airport security fee. We did reimburse them. (Note: Bring only British pounds or Gambian dalasi! No cards or USD accepted.) When we arrived at their place, Lorraine brought us food so we wouldn’t starve in the night. Then the next morning, she and Roy both greeted us with big smiles and friendly advice. The place is a dream!!! There is a lovely petite kitchen with all one needs for simple meals, a tiled shower with plenty of hot water, and two clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside space is an oasis. They have created a slice of paradise complete with a large clean swimming pool, lounge areas, an honor bar, and a thatched roof gazebo. Lorraine and Roy are a wealth of information, and they are quite the adventurers. Ask Roy to tell you about their adventures of crossing the desert—before the days of mobile phones, GPS, or roads. Put it this way—you’d be a fool to stay anywhere else!

The place looks better than the pictures. It sure is the best apartment at the resident and we felt very home. i really hope we will come back!

I arrived very late at night. The reception was very friendly, even at this hour. My late departure time has also been resolved with a supplement. Contact with the owners was quick and clear at all times. During my stay, I did fall through the bed, although I am not fat. But this has been resolved by the maintenance of Forest View. I, personally thought by the pictures, that there were 2 bedrooms but only shared bed. Everything was, in terms of comfort, present in the studio. The sofa, on the other hand, needs to be replaced. That is very uncomfortable. Both living space and bedroom have air conditioning. You will get a regular visit from friendly monkeys on your terrace who only love to feast on fruit. Gambia is struggling with regular power interruptions but there is a reserve generator that fixes this quickly. The neighbourhood itself is pleasant with everything close by. You don't have much trouble with the exit neighborhood. There is a nice swimming pool that is kept tidy during the full day

Very tidy, lovely and modern AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Perfect location as it is walking distance to the beach front and close to the restaurants and bars at Senegambia. The apartment complex has good facilities such as a restaurant,pool and gym. Sade is a great host and is there when you need her very helpful and responsive I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy a stress free holiday. Great experience!

Great location in the heart of Senegambia, I knew the area well so knew what to expect. Within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Staff at Forrest View are brilliant felt like home from home. Balcony overlooking the strip, loved the nightlife. Apartment nicely decorated, comfortable bed. Any issues was dealt with promptly by Abdou. I would stay again in the future.
