Sonya's place was cosy, clean, and peaceful. We all slept well and had everything we need for our short stay. The pontoon view was lovey in the morning too!

This is the second time we've stayed at The Pretty Fox, and we loved it--again! It's a very cosy house that has many historic features, and Wanda and Tom make you feel completely "at home." It's also a perfect place for walking into Diss, which is a great little town. We highly recommend this home.

We had a fabulous stay at the property, it really is such a stunning home. The open plan kitchen is beautiful! The beds were super comfy, the sofas too! Really powerful showers & everywhere was super clean. Thank you so much Emma for your recommendations and great communication. We’d love to return one day.

I chose the house for practical reasons as I needed be near to an elderly parent over Christmas. It was actually bigger than I expected and it was lovely to find a house so clean and tidy; and thoughtfully organised, ordered and equipped. Trevor's responses and suggestions were excellent – and the fact he'd got milk in was a godsend as my father found he'd run out after the shop closed. Altogether, it was like a real home from home. The house is an easy walk from the main centre of Orford and although as a city-dweller, I found the lack of street-lighting disconcerting when walking back at night, the traffic was light and never fast. The children's festive service in St Bartholomew's on Dec 25th was beyond delightful, and there was a warm welcome (and free drinks!) in the pub next door to the churchyard afterwards. I already know the village and enjoyed rediscovering some excellent walks and spending time looking at the boats on the quay. Altogether a relaxing, stress-free experience.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this ground floor apartment. Well laid out, beautifully furnished & spotlessly clean. Look forward to staying again when we come to visit our family in Southwold.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Sarah’s place, it was very cosy and well equipped. It is in a fantastic location very close to the high street with beautiful independent shops and great cafes. It is a short walk to the beach hut, which was a lovely haven on a windy December day. Sarah was great from the start with excellent clear instructions and advice. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Where to start, from first communication Anna was prompt and welcoming. On arrival Anna greeted us with such warmth, we were shown round, introduced to the family and animals. During our stay we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and loft. The children made full use of the farm, enjoying the animals and were able to feed and pet them thanks to Anna. Anna, Paul and children were wonderful Hosts and we felt right at home and we look forward to returning again.

Teresa was lovely and welcoming from first meeting her. The place had everything needed for a stay and had lots of breakfast food and hot drinks. The place was very spacious and comfy, with plenty of good amenities, and the stay was beyond enjoyable. I can't thank her enough!

Loved our stay at the Apple tree lodge! The Lodge itself is spotless and so spacious, lots of natural light coming in and the view was beautiful, it felt very private! and the bed was HUGE and very comfy! We had a slight issue with the TV where we couldn't get any channels, messaged Michelle who responded very quickly and someone was there to fix it soon after, was very impressed! Colchester zoo was half hour away, which is the reason for our visit, so great location for that. Thank you for having us, we will definitely book again !

Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful location next to the river, only 5 minutes walk to the town centre restaurants and pubs

Our hosts where very lovely and went out of their way to make our stay great. It was just right has we where going to the near by race track for the weekend.Our hosts also helped with sorting things out for my disabled daughter.

We had a really lovely time in ‘Gil’s Place’. It was a perfect place to be to explore the Suffolk coast from. Great hosts, really proactive, responsive, well equipped kitchen and just had a nice open vibe. The TV/ DVD player was a nice touch and all the recommendations and takeaway menu’s just made coming here really easy. We went to the local pub down the road and was just a great place to bring our dog as well. I was worried with allergies I might find I got asthmatic from other dogs staying there but didn’t as it’s obviously kept very clean. Thanks for being great hosts and checking in to see how we were doing, especially as we only stayed one night. Above and beyond!

Our hosts were friendly and gave me a tour of the lovely apartment on arrival. The place was wonderful, perfect for our family as a base whilst we spent time with family. Would recommend the accommodation and hosts to anyone, and will be staying again when we are in the area again.

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x

We loved staying at Butley Mill. So luxurious, luminous and warm; and so beautifully renovated and decorated. Thoughtfully equipped with all we needed, including two dog bowls! Our dog found heaven, running with the friendly neighbouring dogs over the marshes, safe from the (very quiet) road. As if that's not enough, there's also a sweet shepherd's hut round the side to sit and watch for otters swimming in the mill pond... we heard and saw curlews flying over, many sky larks in the meadows, deer in the marshland and buzzards and kestrels on the hunt. It's only 3 or so miles to walk to Orford over the Sudbourne Estate so we didn't even need to use the car when we went exploring. Sarah was really lovely and appeared by magic to save our lives by lending us her coffee grinder. We highly recommend this marvellous peaceful place and hope to return.

Very comfortable flat, well equipped with all you need for a stay, excellent location and quiet will definitely book again.
