Farmstay holiday rentals in Südoststeiermark

Myself, my husband and my 2 year old really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a beautiful area, was spotless, peaceful and had lots of space. Marrianne and her family were always available and helped us with anything we needed. They produce homemade goods in their shop which were all delicious. We had a wonderful week.

We had such a lovely time in this farm flat. Mrs. Gerda was very welcoming and warmful person, she was also very nice to our youngest family member, calling her by name and caring. We even got a welcome cow milk and homemade apple juice! The place is very unique - real farm with lots of cows, ducks and cats. Beautiful austrian landscape was a final cherry on a cake! Gerne wieder !

Accommodation was exactly as described, everything very comfortable, especially a fenced garden was important to us so that our dog can run - here he really had plenty of space to play. Everything we needed was there, clean and well maintained, we had great days!

Great Place, Great Host! I enjoyed my stay at Ewald very much! Completely quiet, relaxed, great apartment, very beautifully artistic like! Wonderful nature surrounding to walk. Easy to get there from Vienna by bus. Highly recommended. I look forward to coming again.

We enjoyed the opportunity to take beautiful hikes directly from the house. Likewise, the proximity to nature on the edge of the forest with the unique opportunity to watch animals and stars. Since it rained a lot for exception, we were glad that you could stay in the house, feel comfortable and could benefit from the view of the valley through the full-facing glass front. Also suitable for cozy bike rides along the Mur. For a little more sporty, also from the house along the wine road to Slovenia. In Graz, which is beautiful, you can reach it in about 40 minutes by car. About 6 km from the house is a beautiful swimming lake in Gamlitz. Gabriel gave us good tips for food and drink and showed up as a good host. Thanks again for that!

Our stay with Ingrid and Hans-Peter was simply fantastic! The place was beautiful, well maintained and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Ingrid and Hans-Peter are incredibly friendly and helpful hosts who always helped us with tips and advice. For children, it is simply a paradise with lots of fun with the animals on the farm (chickens, cats). The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, perfect for relaxing and exploring.

Sparkling clean apartment on the Nestelberg. 1 bush tavern in a 5-minute walk, many wineries with buschenschank in the immediate vicinity. Located superbly between the southern wine route and the Sausaler Weinstraße, about 15 minutes by car from Gamlitz, to Kitzeck it is about 20 minutes. At the farm there are cows, goats, a horse, ducks and geese, perfect for children. From the apartment you have a view of your own vineyard. Although no wine is produced on site, you can buy pumpkin seed oil in the house. The apartment is very well equipped, coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer... everything is available. Also a well-stocked wine fridge from which you can taste wines from the immediate vicinity for a fee. Highly recommended!

Great house in a super quiet location. We would definitely visit again!

Our getaway (Fri-Sun) started with a friendly welcome and a nice conversation. Over a drink in the lovingly designed garden, we were able to get information about the area. The property itself is located in an outbuilding and also offers the opportunity to retreat. My favorite spot was the small terrace with very cozy armchairs and great views. We always easily got into conversation with Gerd and Barbara and you felt very welcome. If you have any questions or requests, you always went out of your way. It may be a good fit for the years to come. I can only recommend the place.

I wanted a retreat for a few days and found just the right thing with Claudia. Everything worked out smoothly and relaxed. Super clean apartment, a comfortable bed and in the kitchen you will find all the basics you need. Clear recommendation!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful farm! Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself is full of action with two friendly dogs, chickens, ducks, horses, and goats. One of the highlights was the goat hike (“Ziegenwanderung”) through the peaceful forest—a really unique and memorable experience. Every morning, we received a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread and local treats. It was the perfect way to start each day. If you’re looking for a place to relax and connect with nature, surrounded by wonderful people and animals, this is it. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Very clean house with beautiful peaceful surroundings. It was just two of us but the house has plenty of space to accommodate a large family. Andrea is very friendly and provided us with plenty of recommendations through out our stay. I would easily come back next year.

For just under two weeks we booked the apartment 1 with Claus. It is ideal for 2 people and a longer stay, the house is well located and quiet! The balcony is perfect and the view from there of the hilly landscape is just amazing!! The apartment is as seen on the pictures, clean and well maintained! Claus and his mother are the heart of the apartment complex, they maintain the entire complex, are always available and ready for a chat. Due to the small adjacent campsite operated by Claus, there are several different seating options around the apartment complex that invite you to linger. You are also quickly in Graz, Leibnitz or Maribor. We will be happy to come back!🤩

The Teltscher family vacation home is an absolute oasis of well-being amid vineyards, bush taverns, good food, and stories that our stay has written over five days. We will be happy to come back next year:)

Sabina went above and beyond, even upgrading us to a bigger unit that was free to save one of us from using the sleeper sofa! TIP: you can arrange with her beforehand for breakfast (AMAZING) or bbq dinner.

Brigita was a wonderful host! She is verry responsive and warm perom, ready to help with what ever you need. The apartmant was cosy and the views are so so lovely. It was so easy to relax. The beautiful interior, huge windows with views into forests and vinejard and the fire place made this stay so special. Thank you!

We felt like we had our own farm in southern Styria. we felt very well taken care of!

Had the most wonderful long weekend getaway. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lots to explore and experience. Tons of hikes… fabulous.
