Beautiful home with amazing view. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare food. The basement bathroom was awesome and we enjoyed the bathtub. However be very careful of the slope going up to the house during winter, if there is ice and snow it may be tricky to drive up.

If you think that the house looks good in the pictures, it’s even better in real. It has been an amazing cocoon, I could make it my dream home without changing a thing. It is very cosy to unwind after a day out (or for a day in if the weather is bad). Light a fire, put easily your music on the great sound system, lay down in the hammock or in the sofa, and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful place in the world. The bed is soooo good, I slept like a baby. The house is situated in wild landscapes, this is just perfect to be a bit remote in the middle of the nature. I was lucky and saw amazing auroras the first night, directly from the terrace. The communication with Calum was perfect. It’s 10/10 and I will definitely come back here if I go again in the Lofoten.

I’ve stayed in many incredibly beautiful Airbnb properties over the years across the world. Bodil and Robert’s cabin “Fredheim” is the best I’ve ever stayed at and they are incredibly kind hosts. Putting aside the absolutely stunning location (which is also centrally located in Lofoten), the cabin is perfectly sized and adorned with everything you might need for a short or long stay. If you want perfection, stay at Fredheim. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful old house with lots of charm, great location and lots of amenities. Good starting point if you want to explore the northeastern part of Lofoten. The house is very well located directly on a small beach and offers a lot of peace and privacy. Particularly noteworthy is the amenities. There is almost everything you could need during the holidays.

we stayed at Maximilian's place for my 30th birthday and it was the perfect choice! From the very beginning he made us feel like home. always responsive if we had questions and ready to help if needed. the highlight for sure was the Jacuzzi - and the northern Lights at the same time! we can highly recommend Maximilian as a host and his accommodation! hope to come again one day! 😊

Jannicke and Magnus have a magical cabin where you can see the Aurora directly outside the cabin, and you can even see the Aurora reflected on the water. This cabin can satisfy all the fantasies of Nordic life, kayaking, Jacuzzi & sauna. We bathed in the Jacuzzi while enjoying the Aurora, and even turned off the lights in the sauna to see the Aurora dancing directly. Jannicke and Magnus are very kind. After I booked the cabin, they provided me with very practical information, especially car rental suggestions. AWD is a MUST must in winter. When we checked in, they explained the use and precautions of various facilities in the cabin very carefully. We spent a few days in the cabin and were very reluctant to leave. I hope we can come back here to enjoy it next year.🙂

The house is located in beautiful and quiet area. The views over the lake were insane and relaxing in the whirlpool was great fun even at 0 degrees. We arrived after sunset but the directions were clear so we had no trouble finding the house. Jostein was always quick to respond - no matter if you had a question about the house or the area.

We had a wonderful time in Nina's cottage! We felt so comfortable that we even spontaneously stayed one night longer:) the small house is very cozily furnished and the fireplace completes the stay! Ingrid and Eilert welcomed us so warmly and immediately had hiking tips for us! We immediately felt so comfortable that we extended the stay for a week! The Vesterals are beautiful and diverse. By car and on foot we explored the area and enjoyed nature, great beaches, eagles, moose, magnificent views from the mountains, berries galore and the northern lights from the balcony!!! Shopping quite close, museums are also not far away. Nice coffee and restaurant reachable in 10 minutes. Day trips to Lofoten are easily doable. The house is lovingly furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! A short place to stay! Highly recommended!! Thank you Ingrid and Eilert
