What a beautiful spot. Couldn’t ask for somewhere more peaceful, comfortable or private to enjoy some quality time in nature with family. Deborahs place is stunning and has everything you need to relax. Top tip : Bring eye patches to sleep if you are sensitive to light as it’s brilliantly bright from sunrise to sunset in both bedrooms ~ which of course maximizes on the incredible views and adds to the stylish look of the place. We will be back!

This cozy room in a cute house with a large beautiful garden was fairly close to an event I was attending in downtown Courtenay. It was about $100 cheaper than a hotel over two nights, and even more since you can use the kitchen to cook. It was easy to find and Hans Peter gave very good instructions on how to enter as well as ground rules for using the place. The communication was excellent via Airbnb. You can use the common areas and he'll even leave space for your food in the fridge, yet it's also quiet and peaceful as everyone respects each other's privacy. I would definitely stay here again!

My friend and I had an amazing stay!! We loved it so much. The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed having our meals outside. The breakfasts that Connie prepared were tasty and thoughtful. The suite was comfortable and clean. The kitchenette had everything needed to prepare simple meals. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk about and there are lots of other magical spots on this end of the island. Our stay was memorable and we hope to visit again!

A beautiful Airbnb. The place is very spacious, a large living room, seperate dining room, kitchen and large bedroom with an enormous and comfortable bed. Everything was super clean and there was everything we needed. Carol and Cliff were very friendly and helpful, a lovely couple and even left us some handpicked apples. The house is in a beautiful area- close to Daniel's Point which is a stunning viewpoint- with a porch that overlooks a leafy area with views of the bay. Would definitely recommend.

Wow; what a great spot. Perfect getaway for a few families. So many activities to do and very comfy. The pool was a huge amenity for the kids (and adults). Definitely will go back!

We loved it here! The cottage and property were so charming and inviting. Our kids loved their cozy bed nooks with toys hidden underneath. We all enjoyed spending time with the animals and wandering the wonderful flower and vegetable gardens. Carol was exceptionally welcoming and generous. We would definitely recommend staying here and are already planning to return.

Second time here. Loved it. Feasted on oysters and clams. Rob and Josephine are lovely, welcomed us with hugs. :)

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The space is comfy and homey, the property is beautiful and peaceful. We were very happy to have chosen such a wonderful place to spend our weekend.

This is one of the best breaks we have had. It was a cute micro cabin as advertised with everything we needed, including strong wifi, kitchen area, couch to relax on, and a nice view of the trees and nature out of all four sides of the cabin. We enjoyed walking around the site and sitting by the pond. Karen and Kito were great hosts and we hope to visit again soon!

One of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at, if you’re in need of good nights sleep in the area this is the place to be!

We had a lovely stay at the Horseshoe Cottage. A peaceful setting and great space to relax after a day of outdoor adventures and exploring the beautiful Comox Valley. The cottage was spotless, spacious and very comfortable with everything you need to prep meals and relax. The horse and pony were so sweet and entertaining to see each day ! Daniel was a very friendly and excellent host :) We would recommend staying at Horseshoe cottage !

What a peaceful stay while visiting Powell River. We loved looking out the windows and seeing horses and chickens roaming in the distance.

Roy's accommodations were very unique. Yes, as shown with the description, the place is undergoing upgrades. Because of this, the place is priced accordingly. Roy is very friendly and we loved hearing his various stories about the property. As a bonus, every day, he would replenish the basket of treats for visitors to enjoy. My husband and I love staying at properties that aren't cookie cutter 'normal'. From the Canadian Pacific caboose, on the property, to the mechanical horse, there is something 'different' at every turn. Thank you Roy, for opening up your home to us for such a fun experience!

Nora and Ian were great hosts.. Nora made sure we had all the info we needed including helping to pick oysters and clams..the location was assume...we'll definitely come again..

We cannot add anything to other’s comments about how wonderful Bronwyn’s place is than what has already been written!!! We were a family of three generations and we used every bed in the house; and the office for one of our remote-working kids. We were visiting one of our kids + grands who live in Comox but it was the Villa we used for all of us to be together during the day. The combined living-dining-kitchen space made it ideal for everyone to hang out. The ‘extras’ like a high chair, kids dishes, multiple options for games, cans of drinks sitting in the beverage fridge, food essentials like oils, sugars, etc were available but because we were mostly ordering in or heating up pre-made foods, we didn’t really need much of their well supplied baking, prepping containers. There is a major sewer project happening just outside BUT because the windows and house are so well insulated, you’d really not know any big machines were out there. We all said it was the best place, ever.

Karen is a wonderful attentive host and communicated so clearly when I had specific questions. The cabin is a dream home, with so much attention to detail and comfort. I’m hoping to return soon to enjoy the area even more in the warmer seasons.

A charming space, perfect for a rustic and rural getaway. Appreciated the full kitchen with all the cookware, gizmos and gadgets to prepare full meals during the stay. Enjoyed the sauna every evening and overall felt like a little slice of something special here on the island.
