Holiday houses in Stråken

We only had a quick night at Elias’s place as we were continuing our travel. Elias responded very quickly and was very flexible regarding our check-in which was very nice in our case. The house was nice and offered everything we needed for our short stay. But I can imagine that also for a longer stay you will have a good time staying at Elias’s place.

Our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed it as a family + dog. Wonderful house in the nature. Perfect to relax and enjoy each other present without distractions from fast daily life. Beautiful surroundings and nice garden. It is now autumn and the colors of nature around the cottage are enchantingly beautiful. The cottage and the guest freedom of Frida & Alex offers us to more and more. Definitely nice to come back in the summer. We thank Frida & Alex for the guest freedom. ✨✨✨

Amazing place! We stayed here for 1 week in October and all 3 of us, my husband, our 5-year-old daughter and me, enjoyed every moment of being there. The house is cozy and clean, and there is everything you need for cooking. On top of that, there are plenty of toys for kids and our daughter was super happy with it! The nature is stunning - the lake and the woods, and at night the sky full of stars. Stefan was very friendly and always replied to all my questions, providing useful tips and advice on food/shops/activities. All three of us agreed that we would definitely like to come here for holidays again! 10/10!

the host couple were quick to answer questions, and also let us use the ski equipment on the day of departure. The house is very cozy and there are many beds.

Nice house in the countryside, immediate access to nature. The house is close to the one of the big (for Sweden) roads from north to south, and close (10 min by car) to the village of Gislaved which has plenty of shops etc. At the same time, it is close to isaberg where there are quite some fun activities for the kids. We stayed 4 nights with a young family and everyone loved it. Unfortunately we did not see a moose (noisy kids also reduce the probability to see some), but we did see several deer nearby and there were some cranes feeding in the streets nearby. The house itself was tidy and spacious, with a very large terras looking over the fields and forrest. The house was fully equipped, and there were games available to play. Overall evaluation: recommended for family stay in nature

On the one hand, we were able to make excursions to Jönköpping and hiking excursions. On the other hand, we were able to enjoy the complete tranquility

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house! We really felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the magnificent surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and could even catch fish which was a real highlight. In addition, we made beautiful excursions in the area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your lovely cows. We particularly liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had a great holiday at Linnea's house. Everything we needed was there. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace and quiet. We spent a lot of time with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

We were able to enjoy the stay from the first minute to the last minute. Everything was as described and Tomas very friendly and helpful. The house offers the opportunity to get completely out of everyday life and enjoy nature and tranquility, whether in the living room or outside on one of the 3 terraces. The sauna and the lake offer additional recreational value.

The cabin is the perfect place if you have a dog or dogs who are afraid of fireworks, as the place consisting of a quiet surroundings and atmosphere. The place is nicely decorated, as well as with all the amenities you could want, cozy and convenient and heart-warming decor. You can really find yourself there, as you settle down completely due to the quiet atmosphere. Haris is a nice host, and is quick to answer any questions and things to be in doubt. I can only highly recommend, this place, as well as the nearby Kosmosse natural park, as both places have the most beautiful setting I've seen.
