What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

We booked this beautiful cottage for a week of silent retreat from the normal world. What a great place to turn it all off. Nestled in the woods and sitting over top of a frozen lake with snow covered trees everywhere. Amazing. The wood burning hot tub was a real treat and the wood stove inside the cottage made our stay super cozy. We definitely burned a lot of the provided wood and with the cold world outside it made for one of the most memorable Airbnb stays I've experienced. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing 4 night stay in one of the Chalets - we didn't want to leave! The view from the upper chalets is unbelievable. Kelly was a wonderful host! She was always extremely quick to respond and answer any questions - she was even able to assist us retrieve an item that another member of our party, staying in an adjacent chalet, left behind. On the day of arrival, we were able to check-in early and enjoy the property. There was even a welcome gift with some snacks - such a nice 'added touch!' The chalets were as clean and well appointed as we had remembered from previous stays. There were lots of linens available, but there is also a washer and dryer in the chalet. Gary, the groundskeeper was so friendly and told us about some of the history of the property. On site, there is a small beach with loungers & a fire pit, a pond with a new dock and watercrafts. There's a heated pool, small basketball court, a games room and lots of space for biking. We can't wait to return!

Scott was a wonderful responsive host, and he went out of his way to make our stay excellent! The property was beautiful and the hot tub was a huge perk. I would absolutely recommend Scott as a host!!

Sam's place was sparkling clean, spacious and free of clutter. Just a few minutes drive to town where there's much to see and do. Had absolutely everything we needed to feel right at home. Extremely well stocked and a friendly, responsive host. Would definitely recommend.

Janice is a terrific host. The space was perfect. I travel for work and needed a peaceful place to unwind. It did not disappoint. The jacuzzi was a treat! I highly recommend booking with Janice if you want to experience this part of Nova Scotia, or if you just need a little getaway.
