This houseboat is 180m2 and situated in a magical spot. You stay in a green area, but still conveniently located when you want to see the main Amsterdam attractions. Being moored south of the central part of the city, you reach within 10 minutes by bike the busy streets of A'dam with all its facilities. Nearest public transport is a 18 min. walk. To reach the houseboat you first have a short path through the woods leading to its garden in front of the houseboat. it is our own boat where we live.

Tucked away between Leidsegracht, one of the prettiest and quietest canals of the city, and the bustling Leidseplein Theatre quarter, you could hardly be more centrally located. Many buildings in the vicinity date back to the 1600’s. The Museum quarter and Vondelpark are a stone’s throw away as well as hundreds of bars and restaurants. Wildzicht cosy cabins is a unique homemade cottage on a quiet road in the middle of the bulb fields. The cottage has a view over the flower bulb fields and corn mill De Hoop van 't Zand. If you look closely, you can see the dunes of Callantsoog in the distance. The beach of Groote Keeten is a 10-15 minute bike ride away. The cottage is in the back of our yard and offers a lot of peace and privacy and has its own garden with veranda and picnic table.

Hayko and Nerys are great hosts! Very communicative and helpful. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. The surrounding construction is NOT a bother and noise from it does not reach the apartment. The apartment is amazing - well appointed, clean, and functional. We enjoyed relaxing in the apartment after a long day of sightseeing and we made a number of our own meals in the kitchen. Plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. The Nespresso works well, as well as the hot water kettle. Most of Amsterdam is very easy to access from this apartment. The tram is the easiest - no tickets, just use your credit card or Apple/Google pay to get on/off. Same with the buses, but they run less frequently. The 1e Coehoornstraat Tram Stop (#7 line) is an easy 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are 2 grocery stores also about a 5 minute walk, Albert Heijn and Odin (health food store). Highly recommend staying here, for the apartment and the vibe. Thank you Hayko and Nerys!

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

My wife and I were in Harlingen with our son (3.5 years) for a weekend. Thanks to the really great accommodation, we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is super centrally located, there is plenty of parking space in the immediate vicinity. Everything was clean and exactly as described or seen in the photos. We would come back anytime.

Emma was friendly and helpful, always responsive, and very thoughful. The house was a home, had plenty of kitchenware which is indicative of how welcoming it is. It was calm, and thoughtfully furnished. Love the place, a piece of magic in a wonderful country.

Great apartment, really convenient to get into the city centre by tram. The only downside was no curtains or blinds in the living room for the evenings. Hosts quick to respond and helpful. The key safe could be a bit tricky to spot if you arrive in the dark as it's on the other side of the road and was behind a couple of bikes when we were there!
