Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Stanthorpe

We had a wonderful break at Melt, Elbow Valley. The accomodation was just as described. Very tranquil, peaceful and great to rest and recharge. Totally off grid but all the amenities. Lots of fire wood for evening fires and well stocked kitchen. Outdoor bath and indoor shower were something else. Kangaroos each day and wonderful stars at night. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want to get away from everything and recharge.

Beautiful location; better than expected. The place was spotless, beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Lots to do for the kids; scooting along the creek, roasting marshmallows, board games, and Netflix and pool table for the adults. Would definitely stay again.

The house was a great place for a long weekend with the family. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed. The location is very private and still close to town and all the attractions of the area. It was wonderful to stroll around the grounds early in morning. So much bird life! Rob was a superb host. All of his instructions were very clear and he communicated extremely well. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house with great character, surrounded by vineyards (three easily walkable) and with a beautiful deck to chill on and fire pit to enjoy. If you like visiting the Granite Belt it makes a perfect base -15 min to Stanthorpe town, 15 min to Girraween for hiking, the Ballandean pub and heaps of vineyards down the road, and petrol/basic shop/Jamworks just on the highway a couple of mins away. Highly recommend.

We spent the Easter long weekend at Lara’s place in Glen Aplin and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The property was even more stunning than the photos – beautifully presented and incredibly peaceful. Lara went above and beyond as a host, welcoming us with a thoughtfully prepared basket of goodies and a fridge stocked with everything we needed for breakfast. The location was ideal – close to some of the region’s best wineries, but also perfect for just staying in and unwinding. Whether it was soaking in the spa or sitting by the fire pit under the stars, it was the kind of place you could truly relax. Highly recommend this stay – Lara’s attention to detail and warm hospitality made it a standout experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Peaceful place with water view. Friendly host.

Chelsea's place was beautiful, it's an amazing place to stay and had everything we needed for a few nights. It's very close to the main st in town and east walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, the wine bar and Coles. We asked Chelsea a couple of questions and she responded very quickly.

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Wing Field Cabin! The highlight was definitely the stunning views and the abundance of wildlife – it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!

Absolutely amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay. The photos do not do the area justice, it is super beautiful. Cabin was very welcoming and very spacey for 2 people. Great amenities as well. Rachel was incredibly hospitable as well!

We absolutely loved our Easter weekend at the cabin. Slow mornings and cosy nights by the fire with the pooch, was the perfect escape from our busy lives. We had everything we needed and were so impressed with the quality of the cabin. It was our first time in the region so took up some of the recommendations from David and Emily’s welcome book, and they did not disappoint. The gnocchi from Vincenzo’s was 👌 thanks for having us 🍎🐾

The cottage and view was so peaceful. The host's are lovely people made us feel at home. We loved that we got to feed the cows and enjoyed some yummy fresh eggs. The cottage is beautiful inside everything you need for a realxing weekend away. ❤️

We stayed for one night and arrived after 5pm, our keys and instructions were waiting for us. The lodgings were clean and in great condition. We loved the town centre and enjoyed some great wines at Stone Fruit (local food and wine bar) and a great breakfast at Bad Manners outdoor cafe. We would recommend.

Gorgeous, private and homely feeling cabin. Debbie and Alan were fantastic hosts and even gave us a tour of their place! So special. The climb to watch the beautiful sunset was super easy and not to be missed! We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the region.

Our third stay at The Lonesome and it was as lovely as always. The cabin really does feel like it embraces you in a warm hug. The timber interior, the flowers, the art work, the gorgeous bed linen and comfy bed, luxurious body products, homemade bread and freshly laid eggs, cosy fireplace inside and lovely fire pit outside. Oh and the donkeys and goats are an adorable bonus. The Lonesome is the perfect place to get away from it all. We will be back :)
