We really enjoyed our stay whilst visiting family. The house was spotlessly clean & very comfortable.The house is very close to the beach, cafe and shops. Our 5year old especially loved the bath in the bedroom! Would definitely book again.

Lovely apartment. Comfy beds. Very responsive hosts. Minor hick ups sorted instantly. Walking distance to the beach and the pub too. Perfect

The Whislestop is a fantastic place to get away from it all. Peaceful, scenic and the property had great character. Terri made sure to provide all the relevant information and instructions on finding the property, things to do in the local area and ensured everything was clean and neat for our arrival. The personal touch of having the fire going for when we arrived was thoughtful and very much appreciated!

We had an amazing time at Rookhope thanks to Nicola. The place was spotless and was even nicer than the pictures. It is very serene and nobody around to bother you. We were celebrating our honeymoon and wanted a place that had no distractions and we definitely found that. There are some beautiful walks nearby and a lovely pub in the next town over. Nicola herself couldn’t have been more helpful. She was always there to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time away and feel totally refreshed. Thanks Nicola!

What an amazing place to stay in for a large family/large group of people with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Most of the bedrooms all have their own bathroom or toilet facilities. The amenities were excellent and the kitchen contained everything you could wish for to cook a decent meal. The outdoor play area was a hit with the young children as were the toys in the cinema room. Clear instructions were provided by Elizabeth from start to finish and we couldn't honestly have asked for more. We wouldn't hesitate to return as there were lots of places of interest that we were unable to visit as we ran out of time. Thank you once again Elizabeth and Rob for providing such a fantastic home to holiday in.

we have just returned home after an amazing stay at Melanie's flat, the location is fantastic with the park just literally opposite, shops,take aways, places to eat just around the corner and the seafront and theme park literally a 5 minute stroll away. we came with our 2 children and they have also thoroughly enjoyed there stay at the flat! extremely clean and felt homely! all rooms immaculate and both bedrooms a good size! we will Deffo be returning in the future and Melanie was a fabulous host, only a message away and very catering, thank you for letting us stay in your amazing home! x

This is the second time staying at Debra's place. We couldn't wait to come back after the first time so didn't even look at any other places when booking. It's so cosy and feels like a home from home. Everything is always so spotlessly clean and there is always everything we need. Debra is a fab host and always responds when we have a question. The apartment is a perfect location to walk to town and to the local beaches. There is honestly nothing negative to say about this place. If you're planning to come to Seaham and go seaglass hunting then do not hesitate to book here. We can't wait to come back!

Mel’s place was just as described! Very spacious and was a perfect base for us visiting family. It was lovely to arrive to home comforts after a 6 hour drive to the north east with a 18 month old toddler! Mel was really responsive, accommodated and early check in. Great experience from booking to check out, will most definitely use again!
