Holiday rentals with beach access in St Ives

We stayed at Vanessa’s to walk the St. Michael’s Way from Lelant to Marazion. The property was perfect for our needs, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen/living area was perfect for an evening cuppa and very well equipped. It was peaceful and had great views. St. Ives is a fabulous place, with amazing beaches (great for cold water swimming in Feb!). We loved the Thai restaurant (recommended by Vanessa - thank you!) and The Sloop Inn (c1312) was a lovely ‘real’ pub with a great atmosphere. Our second stay in this two story beachside apartment and we extended our trip this time. Perfect for small families wanting a cosy stay with a short walk down to the beach each day to run off energetic little ones. All you need in the space which is well equipped and a peaceful place to be and people watch from the fantastic window spot in the kitchen/sofa space. Owners are lovely and really responsive. We have had two wonderful holidays here. Thank you!

We loved staying here!! We've been coming to Cornwall for years but had never stayed anywhere as cool as this. The view from the living room window is absolutely priceless! If you've been to st ives before you'll know how close this home is to everything, if you've never been just look out the window, everything is literally on your doorstep! Instructions on how to find the rear of the property and get inside were so clear and easy to understand. Would love to stay here again and would recommend anyone to do the same.

Lovely apartment in a great spot. Well appointed and we didn’t want for anything. Pubs and restaurants all within walking distance and St Ives was buzzing on the weekend as the September Festival was taking place. Can be a bit of a challenge to find initial parking to unload luggage but try to stick to Paul’s instructions, and be mindful that the roads in the old town are extremely narrow and very busy with pedestrians! The private parking was pretty easy to find and just a short walk from the apartment. Can recommend happily as a base for a couple.

Ideal location, spotlessly clean, everything you would need for a few days getaway. The location is amazing for Maenporth beach and not far to drive to Falmouth.

Wow! What a gorgeous house! The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. The kitchen / living area is a beautiful space, well equipped and very relaxing to spend time in. The bedrooms are so stylish and beds very comfortable. A real luxury to have 3 bathrooms too. Handy to have a hot water outside shower and large shed to store wetsuits and boards etc. A very short walk down to the beautiful beach. Can highly recommend the surf school - great instructors. Loads of eating places a few minutes walk away. We especially enjoyed Catch, also great pizzas from the pizza place. The cafe at the Bedruthan Hotel and Spa was also fabulous. Great to visit nearby Padstow and Port Isaac and a great walk to Bedruthan Steps from the National Trust car park. Jax and Simon’s home is a perfect place to spend a week in Mawgan Porth and we would love to come back one day.

A lovely cosy home,it had everything we needed for our weeks stay, Bed was lovely & comfy,pillows good,everthing in the kitchen we needed,lovely sea view from windows, Very quiet at night time, Both local pubs were very good too with lovely food,, Brilliant location for some wonderfull coastal walks,would thoroughly recommend Polly & Hugh’s lovely home for a beautifull stay in a gorgeous location!!!

We had a wonderful time with Danielle! The place was spotless and we felt right at home. There’s lots to do in the area and the harbour was very easy to get to. Danielle was super helpful and very responsive - all in all, we would 100% stay here again☺️ Thank you for a lovely time!

Great stay in Newquay. Off street parking and great family space inside with the option of toddler/ baby bed. Great instructions from the host. Overall lovely and would stay again.

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!! Cannot recommend this place enough - the location was perfect, being so close to the beach was amazing and it was great to be near to Newquay, Padstow etc too. It truly felt like a home from home - had a great amount of space, comfy furniture and the welcome hamper was so thoughtful (even something for our pooch!). Everything we could have needed was provided and we just had the best weekend! We will definitely be booking again and can’t thank Barbara enough for our fantastic stay!

Ben was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The house is beautiful and in a great location. It’s a lovely, spacious modern house and everything it thought of. We all really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend.

*Reposted review - stayed here for a second time. Where to start!? Emily was an amazing host; she was incredibly attentive and enabled us to have an stress-free stay. This apartment itself exceeded expectations, the level of detail and quality was abundant throughout. Being able to see fistral beach and the bay all from the same space was surreal. It's also probably one of the best located properties in Newquay. Credit to Emily and Matt, it was a special stay!

My partner and I were lucky to stay in this lovely apartment, tucked away behind Porthminster Beach ,over the Christmas period. What a find! Ideally situated for a host of amenities. A stroll from Porthminster beach (with fabulous views over) and the wonderful beach cafe there. Easy walk into the centre of St Ives and a mere 30min walk to Carbis Bay along the SW coast path. All in all the perfect getaway retreat to explore this most beautiful part of Cornwall. This place met (and exceeded) our very high expectations! Special mention has to go to our wonderful,attentive hosts who excelled in their communication. Prompt, friendly, helpful and detailed- made finding the place and accessing very easy. Some extremely useful recommendations also. All in all a truly delightful Christmas break!

Julia’s place is super lovely. A beautifully decorated space with stunning views over the local golf course and Fistral Beach. She’s a fabulous host, allowed us to check in early (which was much appreciated) and communicated amazingly throughout. Would 100% recommend and will definitely return!

I booked Claire’s accommodation with my friends as a surprise for our friends 30th birthday. We absolutely loved our stay, the apartment is beautiful and looks directly out on to the sea. The place was clean and tidy with comfy beds. Having two showers also made a huge difference so there was no waiting for the shower. Claire was super helpful sending me recommendations on things to do in the area. We did have a bit of an issue where the previous guest appeared to have turned the boiler off so we had no hot water for hours until the boiler kicked back in, but Claire was really helpful with this talking me through what to do to get it working again and even coming out to the property whilst we were out to check everything was working. The apartment is located perfectly with the beach right on the door step and a short walk from the town centre. The private free parking is an extra bonus and made me feel comfortable leaving my car overnight. Would really recommend staying!

Daniel’s apartment is in the perfect location, it’s walking distance to Fistral beach and Newquay town. The apartment is modern and has absolutely everything you could possibly need including a washer/ dryer! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived, it is so well presented, immaculate and has a cosy feel. The views are amazing on both balcony’s and the apartment is a fantastic size to sleep four people. Daniel’s communication was outstanding from the time of booking and throughout our stay and I cannot recommend him enough! We are very familiar with Newquay, we visit often and we won’t hesitate to stay at Daniel’s apartment again. Thank you so much 🙏🤩 ☺️

Alex and Arlene have such a charming apartment. The location is ideal, just a short stroll from the beach with stunning ocean views. One of the highlights was how dog friendly the property is. They even thoughtfully provided dog treats (as well as human treats), making both of us feel truly welcome. The apartment itself is bright, spotlessly clean, and stylishly decorated. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying a coffee on the balcony was the perfect start to each day. Additionally, the hosts were exceptionally kind, provided excellent local recommendations, and made sure the stay went smoothly. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to enjoy a beach escape, especially if you’re traveling with your dog. Would absolutely stay again
