Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Speculator

We came to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend! The house is absolutely beautiful and Jesse and Michelena are great hosts. They were extremely responsive and friendly. Glens falls is stunning, lots of friendly locals. The hot tub is amazing, so refreshing, especially in the winter! We can’t wait to come back

We loved The Log! Our dog, Brooklyn, had so much fun playing in the snow. The house itself is beautiful and so cozy. When we arrived, there was a note from Trena along with a bottle of wine and coffee cake! Trena was super helpful and responsive. Thank you Trena and we are looking forward to coming back!

We had a very relaxing stay & great experience thanks to the hosts!! They communicated with us ahead of time to make sure we had a clear itinerary. Easy check in, all amenities we could have asked for and more, clean place & clear instructions for check out. The place was very cozy, modernized with a rustic feel to it. Helpful with local place to dine in/out. We had zero issues with stay and felt very comfortable. Thank you!!

Really nice place to stay, we went there to spend Christmas Eve with friends and we had wonderful time, the lake and the snow were absolutely beautiful and it’s very easy to access and find the place

The house was exactly what is pictured. We have been here a few times and each time we were not disappointed. Could use a couple full size mirrors but other than that the place was immaculate and Cindy is very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Host is very responsive and he accurately put out just the information that we needed during our entire stay. The place was very cozy, well equipped and quite clean and worth the amount what we paid for. Would 100% recommend this place.

What a fantastic stay! Beautiful and cozy historical house with gorgeous woodwork and big hearth. Fantastic location just minutes away from Gore Mountain and amenities. House had everything we needed and hot tub was a welcome luxury at the end of a long day skiing. Joseph answered any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this house and we’d love to stay again.

We had a a great stay! House and location was extremely peaceful. We loved the hot tub, wrap around porch and massage chair. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

Victoria and Dave were wonderful hosts! They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They were very responsive and everything you could think of was provided for; from cooking essentials to extra treats and towels for the pool. My son loved the pool and walking trail behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay!

Laney's place was just want we needed for a long ski weekend. Had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy. There were clear directions for check-in and out, and parking too. The place was nice and warm in the winter. Good water pressure and heat in the shower, comfortable bed too. Good location for everywhere we wanted to visit. It's upstairs as the listing says, there are also multiple places in the apt the you have to step up or down into (bathroom/bedroom).

Great spot for a weekend getaway! The place isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for a solo traveler or couples getaway!

Melissa was a wonderful host. I requested to stay at her place at the last minute, and although they got a lot of snow that day, she quickly cleared out the driveway to accommodate me. The place is cozy, clean, private and stocked with all the essentials you need. Detailed directions to get in were sent beforehand in case I lost service along the way. This was the perfect place to rest my head between hiking the Santa range! I was surprised by how warm it was during a -15 degree weekend! Thanks for a wonderful stay. I hope to come back this summer.

Melanie was super friendly & accommodating. The place was ready earlier than expected. It’s cute & cozy, perfect for a few days. The location is great. Very walkable. The Little Place on Main ( located next door) was great for breakfast. Affordable & delicious. Gigi’s on the other side was perfect for dinner, pizza or a sandwich. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A great place to stay for a little weekend getaway. My partner and I loved the rustic feel and being 55 minutes from Gore was a huge plus. Rachel was very kind and always responsive.

What a delightful place and location, right on the river. And a very friendly, beautiful brown horse. Mara went the extra mile to make us welcome - Prosecco, milk and orange juice, English muffins, and so on. We were very happy to relax, read, watch a movie, and enjoy Saratoga. A great stay! This was the perfect little home base for a weekend in Saratoga Springs! Even in the ice and snow, it’s a lovely walk through the park to city center, and the kitchen had everything we needed to pull off the moveable feast we brought to fuel a weekend of dancing. I especially enjoyed having coffee by the fireplace! Thank you Monica, the space was just the home away from home I wanted ❤️

We had a great stay in Pine Place cabin by Long Lake. The space was perfect for our 2 small families and we were pleasantly surprised to have access to a playground and beach toys for the kids. Unfortunately the Wifi was out during our whole stay. I think this was a fluke and owners didn't seem to understand what the issue was. Otherwise we loved everything about the place. The outdoor porch was really great and the bed were comfortable. Very clean and Danuta was easy to reach and communicate with. We'd definitely stay again!

Our Valentine’s get away was great. We were upgraded to a lakefront cabin and it was amazing! Communication with our host(s) was very quick. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. All instructions were clear and vey user friendly. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

We visited Stumble Abode over a long weekend. The beautiful cottage was clean and cozy. It was perfect for two adults and two small children. Parking was easy and close by. It had all the amenities we needed and more. We hope to visit again soon, and definitely recommend others to stay there!

Had to vacate our home due to renovations. It was a great home away from home for those few days. Thank you.
