Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sparks

Nice and clean place at a superb location. It is even walkable to Northstar village and close to the very first stop of the shuttle. Kitchen is fully equipped, bathrooms clean with plenty of towels, supplies, everything you need. Host Tina was very responsive, flexible and nice, gave us both early checkin and late checkout. Our only negative comment refers to the air-con - quite loud in the bedrooms at night when it turns on (linked to thermostat).

We really enjoyed this owners condo!! The location was perfect and all the kid friendly amenities were a total bonus!! We hope to come and stay again!

We had an incredible stay at this ski-in, ski-out condo! The location couldn’t be more perfect—just steps from the slopes, making it incredibly convenient for getting first tracks in the morning and skiing right back for lunch or après-ski. The condo itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Tracy was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free vacation. After long days on the mountain, relaxing by the fireplace was the perfect way to end the day. We can’t wait to come back next season. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch ski getaway!

Albert was proactive in sending super clear instructions and getting us oriented to the property. The whole stay was seamless! The fireplace is quite powerful so it doesn’t get a little hot and dry at night. So if you have little kids, bring a humidifier if you can! Overall we really enjoyed it and will bookmark for next time we are back in the area!

We stayed at Katherine’s for a night en route from Oregon to Bishop. It was a cozy spot for the night in a good location-a close drive to a few of our favorite spots in Reno-the Patagonia Outlet and Food Coop. We were grateful to bring our dog and for the fenced yard. As well as for a high chair for our little guy. Katherine had great communication which made for an easeful stay. Thank you!

This house is unbelievable! The pictures don’t do justice! The views of the lake are even better in person! The lake looks so close! The house is very big and spacious. Very clean too. We felt very comfortable. Worth the money!

This home is private, artistically eclectic and beautifully appointed with all the right things. It is easy to get to and the views of the lake are breathtaking. Had an amazing time with family and friends at the Manzanita house. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Pretty much had everything we needed to do for a cook out dinner with the family. Jacuzzi got hot but the jets didn’t work but we still manage to enjoy our stay. I love that it is very pet friendly and they had doggy toys, pee pads, and doggy bowls available. Location is 15 minutes away from all the Casinos which wasn’t that bad of a distance. Great home to stay for a peaceful get away from the city life in the Bay Area.

Fantastic stay! Beautiful and clean place with plenty of room for 6 of us to have a very comfortable stay. Kim was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating at every stage. Having a garage was a huge plus, and also being right on the shuttle line to access the village restaurants/shops, ski resort, and rec center. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again!!

The place is immaculate and very warm and cozy. Conveniently located near Northstar. Beds were super comfortable. Kim is a great host and steered us in the right direction in terms of restaurants. I would definitely book again.

Our third stay over the past few winters at Northstar. Ski in/out makes it easy to grab lunch and get back to the slopes. Newly painted with new carpet. Beautiful view of the snow and lift outside the window. Hope to stay again next year. Much appreciation for another wonderful stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at this condo in the NorthStar Village. The unit is well laid out and very comfortable. The location removed a number of ski vacation stressors. No need to set meetup times, figure out parking, or worry about when to get moving in the morning. Everyone was able to operate at their own pace and return to a comfortable home. We would love to stay here again!

Fantastic location, always was one of the first shuttle stops after Northstar and very quick pickups too. The cabin has a nice layout for the social areas. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs also made it easier to share.

We stayed here with our 2 kids for a ski weekend and it worked out great. Communication was easy with Daniel, and the condo is very conveniently located next to Northstar with the shuttle bus coming regularly. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the board games and the cozy fireplace. We appreciated that this unit had 2 full bathrooms which was helpful to speed up showers after coming back from the slopes.

We had a great time at the condo. Clean, quick walk or ski to the main gondola, village access, not much more that we could have asked for!
