Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sowerby Bridge

We were looking for somewhere to stay near Hebden Bridge to explore the local area and I'm so glad we found this place. The cottage is beautifully decorated and full of character and the surroundings are just superb. I hadn't heard of Luddenham /Luddenhamfoot before. Beautiful quirky place. Percect if you like hills! We didn't find parking a problem as there was always a space on the road nearby.

The house was in a great location, close to shops, pubs and the canal. We always managed to get a parking space close by. We enjoyed our stay, designed to catch up with extended family from Yorkshire and Manchester. Beds were very comfortable and it was lovely and quiet, so a great night's sleep. The dog loved his morning walks by the canal. We had lovely meals at Stubbing Wharf and The White Lion Inn.

Bethan was really great before we even arrived reaching out and offering us both earlier check in and later departure, which were both hugely appreciated. The house was great. The bedrooms are all really spacious and comfy. The living room was really cosy with an open fireplace. Secure garden to let the dogs have a wee. The kitchen was well equipped and clean and the bathroom was really lovely too with a free standing bath. The house was just everything we could have asked for and more, and Bethan was really easy to reach, responsive and understanding when I broke a glass washing up. Penistone has all the amenities you could want, pubs, cafes, bars, takeaways, and a few options for groceries including a big Tesco all within walking distance of the house. On top of that, incredible moorland and woodland was just a short trip away so what more could you want?

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

This was, without doubt, one of my best AirBnb stays. Great flat, very comfortable and great location. Really excellent communication as well. Strongly recommend and I have already booked my next stay here.

Cottage located on smallholding where you are entertained by the hens, cockerels, pigs and sheep! Feels remote and peaceful but within 10 mins drive of amenities. One bathroom, which was very accessible for someone with mobility issues. Lovely treats awaiting us on arrival. A warm welcome and great communication from hosts!

Really enjoyed our stay for a birthday weekend. Lovely place with amazing surroundings. Communicated well with clear instructions and good recommendations for the local areas aswell.

Everything was in great working order. All radiators were working well. Both shower rooms were supplying hot water without any problems. We would stay again.

Ribbleside park is a wonderful place to stay. We really utilised the hottub and was great to see the stars at night! Check in was easy and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Not sure why there are no pictures of the kitchen or toilet but they’re a really good standard!! Would highly recommend and would come stay again

Harlequin House is a warm and very peaceful place to stay, spacious, extremely comfortable, so very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Hot tub was fab and the garden secure for the dogs. We really appreciated the milk,eggs,butter and the welcome basket! Thank you! Highly recommended. We had a lovely time 😊 X

Had a wonderful stay at Teal cottage, from the specific instructions on location, good communication with the owner, to the welcome hamper with lovely goodies and comfy beds. The views were spectacular, especially when viewed from the hot tub! We walked into Holmfirth, from the cottage, although it was hilly on the way back of course. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

Cannot thank Fatima enough. You can tell that she takes care in her properties. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. Lots of wonderful details. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Amazing stay at Steven’s farm with my son. The cottage/apartment had everything you could possibly need, was spotless clean and cosy. The pool was also spotless and nice and warm. We had a great time, just wish we stayed longer! Will definitely be back to try out the other accommodations on site!

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.

Had a lovely night here while riding the Pennine bridleway, just a short diversion off the route. Bread, butter and milk much appreciated as couldn't carry them on my bike. Really nice, immaculate cottage with friendly and helpful host. Liked the curious chickens and the cool goats.

We absolutely loved our stay at Haworth hideaway. Stunning location and views and the hot tub was very relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

It was perfect for a nights stay and really spacious. My boys enjoyed running around the rooms. It was a home from home for us all. Sophie was really helpful and she already left a folder for her visitors of any common questions or taxi numbers and even local takeaway recommendations.

We choose to stay in Utley due to its closeness to Haworth, so Lesley and Andrew's place was perfect. Easy walk to Keighley, which has plenty of places to eat and drink, and the local graveyard (if you like that sort of thing!) is impressive and atmospheric. The property itself was clean and cosy, with a lovely view, and a great shower and bath to relax in after a long day's hiking!

I spent a great four nights at the cottage. In fact, I spent more time in the cottage than expected as I picked up a cold just before arriving and was fully house-bound for two of the full three days I had in Holmfirth. The cottage was both very cozy but also quite spacious - when on the mend those couple of days I really appreciated having that ample room to keep away the cabin fever. And I really appreciated the Netflix! lol The property is wonderfully located in a very quiet and pleasant area yet only a kilometer or so walk into town. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom had ample hot water and water pressure and the bedroom as quiet with great blackout curtains and a very comfy bed. The cottage was just the right temperature for me, clean, decorated with personal touches and cheerfully bright. Sarah provided very helpful information and was quick to respond to any questions I had and to proactively provide other helpful information, too. I hope I can stay here again soon.

Our 3rd time staying here and it’s always good. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We always appreciate the “get you in pack” on arrival as, after a long journey, we can make a brew and have something to eat without having to go straight out to find a shop.

We had a great stay in Haworth. The house was very cosy and comfortable and well equipped for cooking. It was lovely and warm and the bedroom was comfortable and quiet. There was private parking but also street parking. The house was extremely convenient for all of the many attractions of the town and the little high street, church and parsonage are beautiful. There are several famous Brontë walks that can be done straight from the house. No need to drive anywhere really. It is a friendly place with some lovely little pubs and shops.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!
