This is a lovely and comfortable house. The host is extremely generous. We very much enjoyed are stay and are trying to return as soon as possible.

Liked the house. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom layout is a little unusual. Both bathrooms are adjoining to each other so you need to make sure the door between them is locked. Great responsive host.

Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

This was a great place to stay. Karl was very proactive in communicating with us prior to our stay and checked in with us over the course of our stay to ensure everything was ok. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped which allowed us to cook a dinner for family we were visiting. Would stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb in Nevada City! The home was adorably decorated, sparkling clean, and perfectly cozy for our one-night getaway. The location was amazing—we loved strolling to nearby restaurants, shops, and the local venue, all within easy walking distance. Our host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this delightful home for anyone visiting Nevada City—we’ll definitely be back!

We came to Loomis for a wedding. We are a larger family and the house accommodated us very well. More than enough space and bathrooms to where we did not feel on top of each other. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Wendy accommodated an early check in and communicated with us in a very timely manner when any questions arose. Enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful stay! First Foresthill is beautiful and charming. Breathtaking scenery and restaurants close by. Well equipped kitchen and a great grill. My family loved the home. It was so charming. This is the place that I would come to write a book, memoir, dissertation, or study for a professional exam. I was traveling to Sacramento, but wanted to be out of the city. A couple nice places to eat and a few shops, but if you need more, Auburn is close by as well. I would definitely come back. Thank you so much, Wendy.

Asha's place is truly magical! The land is special and rejuvenating and she has clearly put a lot of work into cultivating it. I loved the gardens, the house and being in the forest. Very clean and comfortable. Feels like you are in the woods, but still very close to town. Could even see snow capped mountains!!! Asha is an awesome host and I highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay! We wanted to stay in a nice cabin that was close enough to Tahoe, but also quiet and remote. The place is well equipped for cooking and super clean! Our dog loved running around the land near the property.

The house was as advertised and a great stay. The host provided very clear driving directions, which were helpful. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a day of playing in the snow. Overall, a good experience

We had 3 couples from our family and 6 children, ranging from 2 to 11. There was plenty of room for all and we had a great visit. The kids loved the pool. The adults liked it also. This home is up to date and we'll equipped. We would definitely come here again. The host was extremely helpful and great to work with.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Lindsey’s home—she was super responsive but the house was also clean, well stocked, well taken care of so we didn’t need to reach out for anything during our stay. The sauna, hot tub and cold pool were amazing. Plenty of space, two options for dining areas—the weather was perfect and we dined outside a few times. The sound of the creek running through was also so peaceful. You could hear birds chirping in the mornings too! A beautiful escape from the city.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

Sam’s place was super convenient and close to the activities I needed to go to. He was quick in response and helpful whenever I had questions. All was accurately described and at a price that worked for me.

I usually stay at Marriott Courtyard. Jenny's place is more comfortable and of good value.

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

What a beautiful place! Russ met me upon arrival, made me feel incredibly welcome, and took the time to explain everything about the space. The cabin was exactly as pictured, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and clearly hand built with expertise and care. It was perfect for my one night stay. When I reached out before leaving, his wife promptly came out to greet me and see me off, which was such a kind touch. The entire experience was peaceful, quiet, and truly cozy. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great Airbnb! We brought our dogs here. It was perfectly enclosed and a lot of room for them to roam around and interact with the friendly cows. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to when we needed a few additional kitchen supplies. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway

My daughter, dog, and I were looking for a peaceful weekend escape from the city, and this spot was perfect! After a full day of hiking and exploring downtown Grass Valley, it was the ideal retreat to unwind and recharge. Mary was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and her adorable pup was sweet. The soothing sounds of birds, crickets, and frogs in the evening created a truly zen atmosphere. We can’t wait to return!
