This place was everything we needed and we had a lovely peaceful stay. Kate left us with the most delicious cheese biscuits and bottle of red wine, a touch we were very grateful for. I would really recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful get-away.

Lovely, attentive host. The lodge is a short walk away from the local shop and pub which has a restaurant inside and music on the weekend. Plenty to do in the area. Perfect for a weekend away.

Fantastic stay at the Gig House, a really cosy warm and homely place with every thing you could possibly need. Liz has obviously a keen eye for decor as well as using top quality appliances, bedding and towels and welcoming little extras like fresh scones and organic milk. Set in the magical village of Happisburgh with the beach close by and lots of places to explore along the Norfolk coast. Altogether amazing - even in February! thank you

The most perfect of getaways. Carolyn's little "snuggle" hut was exceptionally clean and well presented with everything we needed. You can tell she and her partner take great pride in what they provide and it's reflected with all the art and amenities placed neatly around the unit. Carolyn made effort to decorate the property for my partners birthday, and ensured the log burner was on for our arrival. check in/check out was extremely easy and contact was exceptionally responsive. there is a handy guide in the kitchen providing us with local recommendations too. we were warm, cosy and very much at home throughout our stay and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough. I'm sure we will return.

The Old Music Room is a perfect place to stay if you want some quiet and peaceful time. The place is exactly as you see in the photos, exactly as described, super easy to access, it's away from the very quiet main road, surrounded by nature, lots of natural light. There's quite a few books to choose from if you want to read, there's also a radio with a CD player and an auxiliar cable if you want to plug in your own device and listen to your music through the speakers. And Duca and Joe are top level hosts. Couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely come back soon.

Michelle is a fantastic host. She pulled out all the stops at extremely short notice for me and my little dog after the holiday accommodation I was staying in was no longer fit for purpose. The cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped and had everything you needed, including great quality toiletries. The Nepresso machine is a real bonus too. The mattress was a little too hard for my personal taste so maybe a topper would be beneficial for people who like a softer bed. However the bed linen and towels were top quality. The location was very quiet and great for walking and visiting local beaches. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely book again when taking a break in this area.

lovely little place, perfect for a few nights stay, bed is super comfy foam mattress, so very comfy, only question /comment I have is perhaps a bigger bed, you have the space I would have put a king in as it's the only source of comfy seating too, as no sofa etc . apart from that literally few minutes walk from beach. we will definitely be back. thank you.

Very cosy and warm even though outside it was -5, had everything we needed, would stay there again.

My stay at the guesthouse was a perfect little countryside retreat. Communication was always very easy, Glenn and Georgie always replied to any queries promptly. There were clear instructions to find this place and when got there it felt like home. There was a little dog pamper kit which I loved (Leo loved it even more as there were treats). The place was spotless, very clean, very cosy, with everything needed. There's not a lot to do within walking distance but to be honest, I was looking for a peaceful, away from chaos retreat, so that's exactly what I got and was lovely. We just spent a couple of nights so prepared some meals at the house as the nearest pub doesn't serve meals, but Glenn had informed about this prior to our arrival and this was not a problem whatsoever. There's some takeaway places recommended on the guest book in the guesthouse though. I am already looking forward to book this place again. Perfect home away from home. Thanks Glenn and Georgie

Great little place to stay, warm, clean and tidy, too cold for the garden during our stay (Jan) but that looked great for a summer's evening. Local pub is a must, good food and fab beer.

Cute private cabin in beautiful surroundings. Katie was excellent with communication and even went out of her way to make our stay better. Ample amenities for short and long stays. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful Christmas at this wonderful house. It had everything we could have asked for, decorated ready for Christmas and is set in a stunning area on beautiful grounds. Julie was an amazing host, very responsive and catered to our needs. There were even lovely little extra touches in the house like colouring packs and welcome choccies. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Colin & Linda were great hosts, they gave detailed instructions in advance which was really helpful for planning. Check-in was very easy and quick and we were sitting down with a cup of tea in no time. We had a comfortable stay, with all the facilities we needed, and it was a great launch pad for visiting our family in the area. The off-road parking just outside was great to have, and it was nice peaceful there overnight. We would 100% stay there again.

Perfect little hideaway. Lots of outside seating with stunning views, the kitchen is super equipped. The bedrooms are a great size and the upstairs bathroom is stunning

A great stay over Christmas as we visited family in Acle. A card and even a mini Xmas tree from our hosts. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. A great short walk to the local church next door on Xmas Day too 👌
