Holiday rentals with beach access in South Los Angeles

Loved my stay. Room was clean. Snacks in the kitchen. Large televisions in each room. My only slight con was the water temperature in the bathroom. It would be hot then turn super cold out of no where then back to hot.

The space was perfect for the two of us and our pooch. Unbelievable location. We parked the car out front, and walked almost everywhere. Perfect location. The kitchen is well stocked and very clean, as was the bathroom, with a wonderful shower head that was perfection. We look forward to staying again. WE LOVE THE AREA and the rental!

The place was just beautiful with the views! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Malibu. The AC was not working. Communicated with owners and he responded they would get it repaired. Didn’t happen during our stay and the afternoons were really warm inside. Overall I would stay there again!

We had a great stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. The location was top notch - we loved being in walking distance of so many things. The free parking on the property was so convenient. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family!

Book Kim’s place!!! Don’t think, just book! This was such a fantastic spot for our family trip to the LA area. The unit was very comfortable for our family of 4. We were coming to town for Disneyland and beach time, and we also visited the Aquarium of the Pacific which was very close to Kim’s place. Kim lives on-site so it was wonderful to chat with her and her husband multiple times during our stay. They made sure we were well taken care of. The location was easy for access to LAX as well as a quick drive to Disneyland. The beach was pristine and essentially a private beach as other reviewers have said. The patio is right on a beautiful boardwalk. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and easy to find a place to park. We come to the area about once a year and this was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. We will be back!! Thanks Kim for a wonderful stay!

It was a little tight for two. There is a bit of a lip from the living room to the bedroom that I, recovering from two knee surgeries, was surprised by. Again, given the recent knee surgeries, I probably should have looked for a ground floor site. Despite these comments, nothing was not as described.

This was a great stay in a fantastic location, conveniently situated near shops and restaurants. The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Lee was an excellent host, always responsive and ready to assist with any questions. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free stay in the area!

This place is so beautiful! You have your space in a little community which is very close to your neighbors, but this place gave you space and it didn’t feel like we were close to the neighbors. It was nice and if Casey would sell the property I would buy it!

We had a wonderful stay with our family at Amanda and Kevin’s house! It was well supplied with everything we needed and then some! So many thoughtful touches. The house is in a great location and walking distance from great restaurants and shops and the beach. We would highly recommend and gladly return. Thank you Kevin and Amanda for a great mini-vacation in Long Beach.

We loved everything about this place! Perfect description for our family of 5, with 3 grown adult sons needing their space. Super close to where we wanted to be and able to walk to the beautiful beach in Sunset Beach. Helpful neighbor Justin was a great addition! Easy checkin and checkout- thank you for sharing your space with us!!

This Seal Beach house is everything and more! The location is perfect and the rooms are very spacious. The host lives in the unit above and goes above and beyond to help you feel at home and or assist with any of your needs. Would definitely come again.

The place was great, the host was very responsive and available to answer anything. We loved the little peninsula and riding the bikes that were available !

This place is a real gem! Right in the heart of Seal Beach. Easy walking distance to the beach and Main Street. There are also several outdoor shopping areas close by to drive to. The pool and jacuzzi are great. The outdoor and indoor seating area can comfortably accommodate all guests. The upstairs kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. The upstairs and downstairs bathrooms work fine, but nothing fancy. There are plenty of pool and bath towels. It was easy to use the appliances. Sue is a great host. Very generous and responsive. This was a perfect place for our family of seven to stay at for 5 nights. We would definitely recommend Sue’s place to anyone looking for a place in Seal Beach. We hope to stay again on our visit to Seal Beach.

Wonderful stay! Wiill definitely return and recommend to others. Beautiful home, super clean, had all amenities needed. Home is exactly as posted. Walkable distance to beach, restaurants, and best neighborhood even just for a stroll.

Overall a five star stay, BUT, I wish the host had a printed binder of house rules. I had to reach out to the host for each item that I needed. When I did reach out, the host was very responsive, but still, cutting out a middleman would have been a perfect stay. This came close. Stunning views, lovely space, and host had fresh flowers for my arrival. Five stars, will visit again!

This is a great home and we highly recommend renting it. Beautiful part of Belmont Shore. Far enough off of 2nd Street that you don’t hear the noise, but still only a two block walk. Only half a block to the ocean, where there is a walking and biking path, in addition to the beach. Easy drive to Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Sunset Beach, and downtown LB. The home is lovely, 2 bedrooms, and nice bathroom, and a kitchen set up for home cooked meals, in addition to a dining room table and living area with a Roku TV. Keurig coffee maker, though we walked up to the many coffee shops on 2nd Street most mornings. Note that second street has great shops and restaurants. Be sure to keep your rental confirmation notice, as it contains the check-in lock code. (I forgot I had it, but Jesica replied to my call within 5 minutes.) We would definitely rent here again.

This place was wonderful and in a great location. 1 minute to the beach and Venice pier. Amazing and clean as well. Nicole was great to work with and communicated quickly with me when I had questions. We loved our stay and would do it again in a heartbeat.

A charming beachside apartment. Original mid-century features tastefully modernized. All painted white so the room is full of the ocean light. We loved it here.

Great area! Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the pier. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and made dinner time easy. Comfy beds, big bathrooms and a nice quiet outside area. The house has great history and felt cozy. The kitchen area is an add on that can only be accessed through the courtyard area. Be prepared that you will hear the owners/occupants above you when they walk and you often can hear them talking.

This Beach House was a great location, central to a lot of shops, restaurants and activities, and very homy to come back to every day after adventures in Long Beach and Catalina Island. Modern appliances and comfortable interior made it a great place to stay. Just blocks from the beach I was able to walk to breakfast every morning and bring my skates down to the beach walk for evening sunsets. Great place and highly recommended staying here!
