Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in South Gate

Great place to stay for our family, close to great restaurants on 2nd street but off the main commercial area enough to be quiet and comfortable.

Cheryl was always attentive to make sure we had what we needed, which made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend this little house to anyone looking for a charming and safe place to stay.

I can’t say enough thank you’s to Oliver. He helped us book our stay after losing our home in the Eaton fire and worked with us to make sure the 211 help was applied to our stay. He and his fiancé brought over treats for our dogs and checked in on us to make sure we were okay. His home was a soft space to land, and we felt at ease knowing we were in his hands as we started our recovery.

Frank and Lenka’s place is conveniently located within 15 min of major attractions- Universal, Warner Brothers, Beverly Hills to name a few. Some other reviewers said that the road noise in the front of the house didn’t bother them, but we found it pretty loud. Parking was easy with the included parking pass, although I tried to park on the side streets when possible because the cars constantly flying by the front of the house made me nervous! We appreciated the nice appliances in the kitchen and access to laundry. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly during our visit so we didn’t get to sit outside on the private side patio, but the cushions seemed a bit dirty. Frank and Lenka were quick to respond to the questions we had.

Beautiful bungalow with unique interior decor right on a thoroughfare of Echo Park but still exceptionally quiet for LA (especially at night and in the back bedrooms). Walkable to a couple coffee shops without being in the chaos of sunset blvd etc. (as much as I love EP, parts are not as easy to sleep — this area is). Big kitchen with open layout. Hot water kettle for a tea addict. Three comfortable beds with pillow options (always welcome). Blackout blinds in the rooms, which were greatly appreciated.

We had the best time at Laura’s beautiful home! Seriously such a gem of a home! Our family enjoyed all the amenities but especially the popcorn station and the huge backyard! Laura was responsive from beginning til the end! Would definitely stay here again 😊

Great location, close to all the things we wanted to do. The house was plenty of space for our family of 4, wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the pool, but we got to use the bikes to ride to the beach and enjoyed the fire pit. Coni was very accommodating, and responded quickly to all our questions. We loved the art and all the books she displayed throughout the house. Definitely will stay here again if we get the chance!

The area itself was spotless, well-kept, and inviting, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. Located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, it offered the perfect environment to plan a vacation. The hosts truly went above and beyond in their communication. They maintained open and friendly lines of contact throughout my stay, ensuring I felt supported and informed every step of the way. Check-in and check-out were incredibly straightforward, with clear instructions provided in advance. The process was seamless, which I greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.

I entered the Airbnb in the immediate aftermath of the Altadena fire. The hosts were responsive and showed concern for my family's welfare and comfort. They were very empathetic and wanted to be sure we were safe. I appreciated that as well as the comfort of their home. Remarkably, they still had an air filter that was ready for use when many other rentals have put it away. I loved having a full kitchen and good pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. I appreciated every detail they put into this unit. Top notch in every way!

Thank you again for making my stay so warm and comfortable, I can't say enough, about your hospitality. The place is a wonderful surprise which is totally redone and very nice and the patio for my dog to run in and out was perfect. The neighborhood is very close to the Norma Triangle which is upbeat, casual, lovely, and super trendy. I loved my breakfast at "Bravo Avacado"on Doheny Drive plus Melrose, Santa Monica and Sunset are minutes away. Thanks again, Teri

We had a great stay at Jonathan’s place! It was in a nice neighborhood and very walkable to the beach. The house had everything we needed for a week stay, and Jonathan was a responsive and friendly host.

Maria’s place was great. It was very clean, smelt great, was cozy and she was very friendly and responsive. It was a peaceful and private vibe.

Great Airbnb in Long Beach.......fantastic location. The property is located in a back house......which is great for privacy! It was so peaceful and quiet during our stay. Darla (our host) was on top of everything....and was super helpful and nice. The property has everything you would need......and it was very clean (including the outside amenities). The location is steps away from the beach........and Rosie's dog beach is also within walking distance. We ate twice at an amazing Thai place that was located a block and a half away called Manaow Thai....highly recommended. In addition....right down the street from Manaow is Olives...a fantastic small grocery that also has freshly made ready to eat products. This property is a fantastic deal for what you pay.....and it's location. Highly recommended.

We picked this home because of the free parking and the convenient location close to the NBA arena. It was like staying in a classy hotel. The instructions were clear to check in and out. Richard the doorman was so friendly and knew us by name after meeting us. The room had all the amenities described in the listing. The owners just installed new soundproof windows making outside noise almost inaudible (I imagine before it could be quite loud in the living room that overlooks the street). We never went up to the pool, but it seemed straightforward enough to use it if you want it. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in DTLA, we highly recommend this place! Hope to stay here again!

Our hosts, Giselle and Ali, were outstanding. They offered fantastic recommendations for local attractions and the best restaurants, helping us experience Los Angeles like locals. Their attention to every little detail made our stay seamless and enjoyable. From prompt communication to thoughtful touches, Giselle and Ali went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could I would give them 10 stars!!!

My Mom passed away & flew in from Florida to have her Funeral Services in Southern California which is where I grew up. My stay was set up to be right after all the services & a much needed peaceful space to grieve. Venice Beach was 1 of the many Beaches my Mom & I enjoyed together. I would love to come back & stay with my Adult kids & Grandsons in the future. It would accommodate us all & be a great place to create fun memories together with my family.

We liked the house a lot -- location and size was great! Wendy was responsive to our questions and needs. There was a little hiccup in the beginning but it was airbnb which needs to work on syncing better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely pick this place again if we drop by Newport. We had a wonderful 3 nights at Shants place in downtown LA. He was very responsive and accommodating to our every need and we will definitely be back for future stays. We recommend his place highly!
