This was the perfect getaway, it was peaceful and remote as the other cottages on the property are well spaced out from each other. It was easy to feel relaxed and at home in the cottage and the hot tub was an additional treat. Would highly recommend staying here. :)

We had a beautiful stay. Reuben and Adriaan provided detailed instructions ahead of our arrival. We were met and shown to the cabin which is idyllic and exactly like the photos. We were able to fully switch off - no wifi, felt completely safe and surrounded by the hum of insects and birdsong. We swam in the lake in the sunshine and watched the thunder and lightening from the safety of the cabin. We ate all our meals at the Belfry Kitchen and Reuben kindly accommodated all of our dietary preferences with no fuss. The homegrown meals were delicious and extremely good value for money. A lovely place with lovely people!

My whole family loved this place. Surrounded by nature with waterfall showers during the day and star gazing at night. Such a wonderful place and definitely not the last time I was there.

We had a great stay at the mountain top cabin. The views from the cabin are spectacular and you feel like you are on top of the world. Cabin itself is well maintained and has all the bare necessities that make for a comfortable stay. We did hike to the stream one morning, the route takes you down a 4x4 track where you hop over the fence and follow the 'path' through some thick bush before arriving at the stream. Other than that bring a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet.

This was the third time we had stayed at Driftwood Cabin, and hopefully, it will not be the last. Since we were last there a year ago, the cabin had been renovated, and it looked clean and spruced up. There was milk, coffee, tea and filtered water. The stove top had been replaced by an Air Fryer. Of particular value was that the mattresses had been replaced on the two single bed. The were both firm and both my wife and I slept very well. We had the experience of some wet weather early on during our stay, and the wind was coming from the East. This blew the rain into the patio. We had to eat indoors on that day, but the furniture soon dried when the sun returned. Mike, usually with musician friends practiced for their band during the evenings. This did not bother us. Indeed, one evening, we listened to part of their repertoire in the main house. We love the varied walks around Cape St Francis, and got in three mornings walking while we were there

Fun place to stay, very family-friendly with lots of communal spaces to enjoy like the hot tub, braai area, gardens, bush walk track. The cabin was nice, we especially enjoyed the private outdoor bathroom.

From the first booking to the final morning, my Firefly cabin brought me joy, comfort and rest. Justin's online welcome, the easy check-in, the beautiful and fully convenient interior, shower and bed were exquisite. The views and gardens are stunning, bird life and the Turaco trail a joyful natural experience. Fire starters from the shop and a good wine too, saw to a cosy evening at the fireside. Fully a dreamy, gentle time.

We loved to stay in the cottage! It has everything you need: the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were very organized/ cozy and the cottage has a good vibe. The hamburger restaurant next door serve tasty burgers, and the communication with the host was also great. I would recommend going here if you like to be in nature and have some quiet time!

The accommodation is truly remarkable the pictures don’t do it justice. All the amenities were up to par and standard. Beautiful and secluded. Ryan was most helpful and attended to our needs. He truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. My partner and I truly enjoyed our stay so thanks Ryan ❤️

My husband and I had a relaxing and peaceful stay at the Goudyn pods and I would highly recommend them. It is a lovely retreat for celebrating an anniversary and recharging after a busy year. The surroundings are so peaceful and we spent most of our time in the hot tub :) admiring and appreciating the beautiful vineyards, pond and mountains. Piet and Leandra are wonderful hosts and ensured that we had a great stay. There is a campsite behind the pods but this did not bother us as the campers kept noise levels low and our hosts indicated that we could notify them should it become too noisy. On our last morning we took a jog around the farm, what a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be returning in the future!

Great little cottage on a beautiful property. Equipped with everything you’d need for a peaceful stay. Shops are a close drive away. Hosts are friendly and accessible on the property. Would recommend and visit again.

We had a wonderful night in this little paradise! The tiny house is a true gem – cozy, tastefully decorated, and perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature. A special mention goes to the lovely hosts, who went out of their way to bring us firewood and even fresh milk. Their hospitality was outstanding! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the sweet dogs on the property. The surroundings are peaceful and idyllic, ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. We also loved the hot tub – soaking under the fantastic starry sky was an unforgettable experience. Ich hoffe, das trifft es!

We had an amazing stay, it is such a beautiful place. You can tell Johan and Jenni put a lot of love and attention to the treehouse and garden by all the details. It was the hottest day of the year (40C) which was a bit challenging without AC but they recommended us to take a beautiful hike in the forests, and we took a swim in the natural pool. We forgot 2 items which they sent to our next destination. Thank you so much for your kindness, really appreciated.

The pictures dont do this location justice. You have to be there to truly experience how beautiful it is. Overall, it was a great experience. Everything was clean and tidy, and all necessities were catered for - great hosting. Even though we were only there for a night, it was one lovely night.

My partner and I had the most beautiful weekend! All we wanted was a peaceful spot for a romantic getaway and we got exactly that. Spotless and clean, beautiful presentation of the place, exactly like the pictures and super friendly hosts. Would definitely spend another weekend there and would highly recommend to others!

We had an amazing three-night stay at this secluded and remote getaway. The location is truly special—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The unit was well appointed, providing everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive, which made us feel welcome and supported throughout our stay. One thing to note is the dirt road leading to the property; while it’s a bit rugged, we managed it just fine in our VW Caddy by taking it slow. Overall, this was a fantastic escape, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from it all.

We loved staying in this trendy spot in the interesting town of Rosendal. The space is decorated immaculately and is spotlessly clean. It has every amenity you could think of. We found it comfortable, private enough, and peaceful. If staying over a weekend, it’s a bonus to be next door to the Krummel coffee shop.
