Uniquely located sea house in Ofoten, close to Lofoten

What a lovely cabin by the sea! The area the cabin is located is remote, with some trails nearby for hiking. The little shop in town has basic offerings and a helpful staff. The view is phenomenal, especially when looking at the auroras. We stayed two nights and saw northern lights both nights! The people in town are also very friendly—one gentleman gifted us some live brown crabs straight off the boat! Would have appreciated some crab crackers but otherwise kitchen was well stocked. Washing machine was helpful. Cabin was very clean. Tea candles were a nice touch. Five stars, would come again!

The view of the accommodation was so beautiful. It was serene and you can see nothern lights every day, and it was a good surrounding environment to take a walk every morning. The grocery store is not close, but we bought a lot of groceries, so there was no problem. The fireplace was warm, and there was enough heating. It was especially nice that the host actively told us about the house. I was a friendly host who wanted to have a friend. Please let me know whenever you come to Korea ~

This place was amazing!! You get an entire apartment for yourself, including livingroom, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and front door hallway. You even have your own front door. This is wonderful. The hosts understand the flight schedules and welcomed me in late at night, which i was very grateful for. They immediately understood that i needed to get some groceries the next day (24 dec) so they told me where the supermarket was and had even looked up the opening hours. Very thoughtful and understanding. Due to a change in plans i was traveling alone and they invited me into their home for Christmas dinner. What an amazing kindness. The area is beautiful and very close to a larger town. The house is a few steps away from the water and deer and moose visit the garden and look through the window. :D I would absolutely recommend this place as a great alternative to the more busy, expensive and touristic Tromso. Thank you Henny and Atle.

Had a great 1 night stay in a winter wonderland. fun tail across the road to hike, great fish soup in the cafe, simple and delicious breakfast, everything about the light house was perfect. so far my only stay in Norway with excellent bedding. saw the northern lights as a magical bonus. thanks.

We spent 5 days in the house. It was an unforgettable vacation! House is super welcoming, beautiful, big, clean and functional! The living room has a stunning view of the city, the mountains and the fjord! The house was very warm, we had everything we needed. Special thanks to the hostess!!! She was always in touch with us, responded very quickly! Regina helped us with a difficult situation on the road! Thank you so much for everything! We would absolutely stay here again!

Erling might be one of the friendliest hosts I met. Was super welcoming and friendly as well as having great local recommendations he can talk you through or just provided in a little guide book. The barn itself is lovely to stay in, with amazing views and not too far from the things to do in the area.

Lovely farm very remote and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. A trip into the wildness. With Sauna, fishing, bbq and bonefire. 100% recommend Tors and his families place, who take care of everything. All the best.
