Beachfront holiday rental in Solanto

Fantastic stay in a beautiful historical home! Comfortable, elegantly decorated, lots of outdoor space and a short walk from the beach. Errehome is incredibly responsive and welcoming, she was incredibly kind offering a check in quite late in the night due to our flight. Highly recommend!

The place was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too loud at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious place, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were also great! As for the resort itself (Aspra), it must be said that it is unfortunately difficult to get around without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not particularly nice, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

The flat was very nice and clean. Erika's helpfulness was also great. She even provided us with a couple of bikes so that we could explore the area. The highlight was definitely the outdoor kitchen. We had a great time.

Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

Maria was really communicative and came to meet us at the house, where,we swapped numbers in case either of us needed to reach the other. The house was clean and tidy, with just a few steps down to the beach. We had our own private terrace and use of the shared terrace, just a couple of steps down. The house,was just a short walk to the village, where there are a few restaurants and just another 5 minutes to Porticello where there are more restaurants. It's very quiet there, so if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. All in all, a lovely 8 days at Maria's house and thanks for being a great host!

If you’re looking for a modern home, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a mansion by the sea with classic old Italian style and an unbeatable location, this is the place for you. Giovanni even hooked us up with a private chef to come to the house for one night of our trip. There’s a coffee shop, restaurant and pharmacy all within a block. This house is perfect for a large group and Giovanni has excellent communication. Thanks for hosting us Giovanni! We had a wonderful time!

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

My boyfriend and I had a super vacation at this home! Cozy place and the small terrace were lovely and with beautiful views of the mountain and sea. There was a bit of loud music by the pool during the day which was a bit disturbing, but the beach is close and was lovely as a change. Ernesto is super sweet and helpful and picked us up and took us to and from the airport. In addition, he made recommendations for great experiences in Palermo city center - it's easy to get in there by bus from Mondello and we especially enjoyed it at night when the weather was “cool enough” to experience things; -) We were overall very satisfied! Highly recommended 🤗

Marco was an amazing host and extremely helpful. We checked in pretty late but his mother was there to greet us and show us around the place. He was the fastest replying host I’ve ever had and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. The place itself was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Location is absolutely beautiful and just a short drive from the city.

The place is well appointed. And beautifully decorated. The pool was lovely as was the garden so nice to have.

We had a lovely stay at Veronica's apartment. Small but clean and kitchen has everything you could need. It's a great location, lots to do around and a great pizza restaurant just down the road. We hired a car so was conveniently located to travel around the island. Veronica was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for having us.

Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

We had the best time here - Maurilio was so accommodating + friendly. He gave us great recommendations. About a 20minute walk to mondello beach, and about 20minutes in a taxi to Palermo centre - really easy to navigate. Villa was gorgeous - outdoor area was amazing with big pool, outdoor kitchen + dining area. Comfy beds, great shower! would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much Maurilio!!

Perfect location! The only thing I could say is about the hot water from the shower… that we didn’t have :( but from this everything was good ;)

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

Excellent hosts, amazing pool and overall a fantastic experience. The living room is much bigger than it looks in the pics. Would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of Sicilian paradise look no further than Angelo and Marilù’s place. Angelo was so friendly and helpful and even kind enough to share some photography that he did whilst we were visiting. Both hosts are super respectful of your privacy during your stay but this isn’t an issue at all as they were a total joy to be around. The accommodation was equipped with everything we could need with very comfortable memory foam beds, fresh towels, coffee and even a cool bottle of white wine on arrival. Views from the terrace are breathtaking and, as recommended by Angelo, we woke up early to see the sunrise which was truly spectacular. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and we can’t wait to come back again.

It is a very enchanting place: the view from the terrace and the garden to the sea in terraces is very nice and well maintained. We went swimming every day, but you need shoes to get into the water. Gabriella and her son were always there for us and very helpful. Only the mosquitoes gave us restless nights. We will be happy to come back.

Salvatore and Antonio were super easy to reach and even communicate in good English. The place is super clean and easily accessible. Perfect for a trip to Cefalu, Palermo or the surrounding area. And I really liked Santa Elia. In the end, we even got oranges and lemons as a gift that we were allowed to take with us. The view from the balcony to the sheep pasture, olive trees and the sparkling sea is magnificent. Everyone is totally friendly and super child-friendly. Our baby was even provided with extra toys, a high chair and crib in the apartment. Thanks for a very great time! Absolute recommendation :)

Fantastic location, opposite the beach and with good local restaurants and services very close by. Great house for larger parties and with really nice outdoor space (garden area, balcony and roof terrace). Would stay again!

Giuseppa welcomed us in a very friendly way and was even so helpful to pick us up from the train station in Bagheria, which made the arrival very uncomplicated. She was always available during our stay when we had questions or needed anything. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well equipped and lovingly furnished – just right to relax and enjoy the vacation. The location close to the beach is ideal, and everything you need is easily accessible. The area is nice and quiet in the side street. The windows are simply glazed, so the traffic is somewhat audible – but that was not disturbing for us. Overall, we really enjoyed the week there and definitely recommend the apartment.
