Beachfront holiday rental in Solanto

My boyfriend and I had a super vacation at this home! Cozy place and the small terrace were lovely and with beautiful views of the mountain and sea. There was a bit of loud music by the pool during the day which was a bit disturbing, but the beach is close and was lovely as a change. Ernesto is super sweet and helpful and picked us up and took us to and from the airport. In addition, he made recommendations for great experiences in Palermo city center - it's easy to get in there by bus from Mondello and we especially enjoyed it at night when the weather was “cool enough” to experience things; -) We were overall very satisfied! Highly recommended 🤗

we liked it very much at roberto's. He is super friendly even picked us up in piraineto and took us to the airport at the end of our stay. He also provided us with 2 bicycles. The apartment is large and also ideally suited for a long-term stay. The sea is very close to the beach super nice and clean. sandy beach ! villagrazia a small village is also easily accessible by bike. there is everything there.... fishmongers , bakeries , metzger , bar , pharmacy , ect ... a supermarket that has quite a lot of organic products and very great the naturalbiologico that is very close. roberto's mother, a very warm friendly woman who lives next door, even supported me in learning Italian. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful historical home! Comfortable, elegantly decorated, lots of outdoor space and a short walk from the beach. Errehome is incredibly responsive and welcoming, she was incredibly kind offering a check in quite late in the night due to our flight. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too noisy at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious accommodation, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were great too! To the resort itself (Aspra) you have to say that unfortunately you can't get away without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not very beautiful, but it does its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

Beautiful Erika's house, clean, cozy interiors, pleasant and atmospheric outdoor kitchen and garden. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a very nice time here. Thank you Eryka for your kindness, communication, and helpfulness. We highly recommend this home .

Hi Luisa. Thank you for the stay. Lovely to meet Father Dino, Maggie, and Schallaci grocer! I second a reviewer, Luisa's home one of the best on Air BnB! Home is tucked away, just behind piazza. Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

Maria was really communicative and came to meet us at the house, where,we swapped numbers in case either of us needed to reach the other. The house was clean and tidy, with just a few steps down to the beach. We had our own private terrace and use of the shared terrace, just a couple of steps down. The house,was just a short walk to the village, where there are a few restaurants and just another 5 minutes to Porticello where there are more restaurants. It's very quiet there, so if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. All in all, a lovely 8 days at Maria's house and thanks for being a great host!

Location or home and responsiveness of host does not get any better. In my opinion the home could use some kitchen and other general updates to make the stay more enjoyable. However I would book again for the current price without the updates.

Marco was an amazing host and extremely helpful. We checked in pretty late but his mother was there to greet us and show us around the place. He was the fastest replying host I’ve ever had and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. The place itself was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Location is absolutely beautiful and just a short drive from the city.

The place is well appointed. And beautifully decorated. The pool was lovely as was the garden so nice to have.

We had a lovely stay at Veronica's apartment. Small but clean and kitchen has everything you could need. It's a great location, lots to do around and a great pizza restaurant just down the road. We hired a car so was conveniently located to travel around the island. Veronica was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for having us.

Antonio’s place is an like an oasis of peace and beauty from busy life! The view is literally to die for!! Antonio and his sister were always helpful giving recommendations and even helping us organise a boat to rent in off season! There is a beautiful beach 5 minutes walking down the hill, and besides that there is hardly anyone or anything - super peaceful and private! We loved watching the sunrise and spending time in the nearby village!

The house was spotless and and had all amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped. The rooms had very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Gabriele showed us the house upon our arrival, she was for a long time explaining everything, and she was always available. The only thing to keep in mind in this house is that the access is down a very narrow street. Small cars have a good time. Wide cars like the one they gave me in the rent-a-car (a dr brand car, which by the way I don't recommend to anyone), they also happen although you have to be careful. Otherwise, the perfect house and Gabriele a great host

Francesco and his wife are just great people so kind and warm we loved everything about them and their place book with them for the very best place in Mondello beach

Paolo and Flaminia were wonderful and helpful hosts. We felt like at home.

We had the best time here - Maurilio was so accommodating + friendly. He gave us great recommendations. About a 20minute walk to mondello beach, and about 20minutes in a taxi to Palermo centre - really easy to navigate. Villa was gorgeous - outdoor area was amazing with big pool, outdoor kitchen + dining area. Comfy beds, great shower! would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much Maurilio!!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

Fantastic all around stay in a very convenient location to beaches, Cefalu, and Palermo and a very comfortable apartment with character. We would have loved to stay longer!

Excellent hosts, amazing pool and overall a fantastic experience. The living room is much bigger than it looks in the pics. Would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of Sicilian paradise look no further than Angelo and Marilù’s place. Angelo was so friendly and helpful and even kind enough to share some photography that he did whilst we were visiting. Both hosts are super respectful of your privacy during your stay but this isn’t an issue at all as they were a total joy to be around. The accommodation was equipped with everything we could need with very comfortable memory foam beds, fresh towels, coffee and even a cool bottle of white wine on arrival. Views from the terrace are breathtaking and, as recommended by Angelo, we woke up early to see the sunrise which was truly spectacular. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and we can’t wait to come back again.

It is a very enchanting place: the view from the terrace and the garden to the sea in terraces is very nice and well maintained. We went swimming every day, but you need shoes to get into the water. Gabriella and her son were always there for us and very helpful. Only the mosquitoes gave us restless nights. We will be happy to come back.

Salvatore and Antonio were super easy to reach and even communicate in good English. The accommodation is lightning-clean and easily accessible. Perfect for a trip to Cefalu, Palermo or the nearby area. And loved Santa Elia. In the end, we even got orange and lemons, which we were allowed to take with us. The view from the balcony to the sheep pasture, olive trees and the sparkling sea is magnificent. All are totally friendly and super child-friendly. Our baby was even provided with extra toys, a high chair and baby cot in the apartment. Thank you for a very great time! Absolutely recommend :)

Fantastic location, opposite the beach and with good local restaurants and services very close by. Great house for larger parties and with really nice outdoor space (garden area, balcony and roof terrace). Would stay again!
