We loved our stay at Denise and Rodney’s place. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, with amazing lake views from the deck. Denise and Rodney had taken care to prepare the property for our arrival including turning on the air conditioning, which was appreciated. Communication was great and the local recommendations were helpful. The Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens Cafe was excellent for lunch. We would have loved WiFi as there was limited phone reception, but nice to switch off for a couple of days with books and board games. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My group had a wonderful stay. The location was peaceful and relaxing with lots of wildlife for the kids to look out for. The space accommodated our 3 families easily with lots of space to spread out. The verandah meant that even on a hot day the house stayed relatively cool. The pool although small was lovely. The kitchen was equipped well for family meals, and we could easily move to the outdoor area for dining. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

We stayed on a very hot weekend in January and although no aircon, the place was still quite cool. Lovely to sit on the deck in the evening and pick some of the abundant fruit growing on trees. Great location for walking to shops and the lake.

Luxury with views & a pool

The house was perfect- we booked on a whim and the kids wanted a pool- which was absolutely beautiful and came with pool toys and a great recliner seat! Although not heated, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in and out of the home. Laundry with great facilities made it easy to dry off in our time between pool vs indoors. The side lawn with a cubby house, coupled with 2 outdoor lounge areas was a major plus. We each had to work a portion of our holiday so the great home office set-up was a huge plus point! Master ensuite was VERY luxurious. Great couch for the whole family to lounge on, with 3 TVs (1 with games!) to utilise meant kids didn't fight. The house is located in an Uber Eats delivery zone which made meal time super convenient. Linen& towels were v clean. Overall, we'd love to return and enjoy this beautiful home. Thank you for great, speedy communication, and for hosting such a lovely stay for us.

The host was responsive and thoughtful, ensuring everything was in place for a smooth experience. The location was great and peaceful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and cosy stay. Would definitely book again!

Very pleasant stay. Thank you Deb for sharing your gorgeous place with us. The place is very well stocked, close to many things and Hepburn bathhouse. I requested for a thorough clean of the house due to my daughter’s allergy issues. She walked in and immediately approved of how clean the house is. A beautiful family home set on a large rural property about 10 minutes drive from Daylesford. The place is very comfortable and you're surrounded by peace & nature on all sides. There were chocolates and water bottles waiting for us as a welcome gift, and the owners were extremely friendly & responsive. We'll definitely be back.
