Lake house holiday rentals in Smiths Lake

Our stay at this beautiful lake house was lovely, Extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was absolutely beautiful so crisp and clean. The beautiful big Deck out the back with the BBQ was great for afternoons after the beach for a lunch or dinner with the family. A beautiful big yard for the kids to play. A lovely walk to the jetty and water park just up the road. I will definitely be booking again for the future

Perfect property for groups. This house was wonderful for our family group. We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed family meals on the deck. Everything was as listed. Beautiful location, we'd love to come again

Mark is an awesome host on Lake Macquarie - who really made our visit very special. I visited Mark's place with my young kids and they had a great time. There was loads of board games and a big tv. He had left them a couple of Easter eggs and some snacks. We enjoyed the kayaking and also tried our hand at fishing. Marks communication was great, he lives downstairs, and when we asked for assistance he kindly obliged. I would totally recommend Marks wonderful house !

Vinnie (6) It was nice. I got to go to the beach and it was beautiful. We thought it was a beautiful location, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Even a ginger grater!! Nanna especially loved swimming in the lake - even when it was raining.

We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the amazing ocean view, very thoughtful breakfast inclusions and Susan is a lovely host whom made us feel welcomed. Thank you will be sure to return.

Mandy's house is exactly as described. We spent a weekend with family visiting from overseas and enjoyed the house and all facilities/amenities. A great peaceful location overlooking the lake. Mandy is a very gracious host who is very responsive and accommodating. We will for sure be back. Thank you, Mandy.

All the family enjoyed our stay 'On The Edge'. The whole family had lots of fun in the lake which were few steps down to access. enjoyed lots of walk in the beautiful relaxing scenaries and canoes facilities added a plus to all our left happy memories to be remembered. note; there were no air-conditioning available in the place, that we struggled a bit when extremely hot however there were small fans provided in every rooms, we were very thankful for that. thank you :)

I really appreciated how responsive and accomodating Mike was during our stay. He made sure all our needs were met and rectified any issues we had. Instructions were clear and the place was beautiful with plenty of activities to do. My family and I made great memories during our short Easter getaway here.

Sonia's property is a lovely place to stay if you are in the Warner's Bay area. nice and quiet area, good location, nice view from the balcony. Sonia has done a great job with the assortment of coffee and tea in the pantry area with some tasty treats in the fridge to go with a warm drink on our stay. Had a lovely stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The area is wonderful and has a lot to offer. For people like us, who love the nature Jess's place was the jackpot. It was amazing to have kayaks for our use, we had a lot of fun exploring the lake. Place was quiet and Jess was very accomodaiting to our requests.

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's place and can't reccommend it high enough. Anna was super helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. The house has great internet connection and wifi and really does look as good as the pictures suggest. Check-in and out were seamless and Anna was always on-hand to answer any questions we had. I really can't rate this place high enough, will absolutely look forward to staying here again!

We’ve stayed here before, and already booked again. Magical place by the water with amazing sunsets. Simple and quiet with old school charm but with everything you need.

We had amazing seven nights at this beautiful lake house and left with truely heavy hearts - as of coming all the way back from Germany may take some years. Nonetheless the time we have spend and the memories we have built will last a lifetime. We only can recommend this lovely designed place, where adventure and nature let you meet your peace of mind. Lovely location and house, with lots of room to relax and hang out. The house and garden was clean, spacious and ideal for kids with lots of places to play. Only small downsides is that check in was at 3pm and check out was 9am and there were limited amenities (ie dishwashing liquid, washing powder) which meant we had to stock up and rush out on the last day. Overall a lovely trip though and nice place to stay

Beautiful home to stay in, very well-appointed kitchen, everything you needed was there, the whole house was spotlessly clean, felt right at home. Comfortable beds and lounges, great area to sit outside and view the lake and relax. Great location and would definitely stay there again. Mia responded quickly to any requests for information and I thank her for making her home available to enable us to enjoy our stay in comfort.

We needed somewhere to stay on our way back from sydney due to cyclone in QLD, jae was responsive and easy to communicate with. He akllowed our check in to be earlier and our check out to be at 12pm so very hospitable, the only thing is the fan in the kids room is way too close to the bunk and a little dangerous for little ones but apart from that it was comfy.

Ann and Mitch’s farm stay was the perfect place for my kids and I to stop, relax and enjoy on our drive down from Byron to Syd. The place was beautiful, spotless and comfortable. My kids had an absolute ball swimming in the pool and playing with all the animals.. didn’t want to leave! Cannot recommend this place enough, Ann is the perfect host, so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you, we will definitely be back!!! Dee and the kids. Xxx

The stay at Hang 10 was a great relaxing experience, with the lake right at your back yard and the beach less than 10 minutes away, it was perfect for a getaway. Sharon did pay us a visit on the first day, but she was nothing less than respectful and welcoming. She gave us helpful tips on where to go and how to get there, which were very helpful.

This place is much more beautiful than what we expected. Location is just what we wanted for a family holiday. The house had everything we needed. There are so many things you can do at the house and by the lake that you can just stay at this place for the weekend and you don’t have to go anywhere else. We did kayaking, fishing, bar b q, nice cozy breakfast on the balcony upstairs, had lunch at local restaurant, went to a nearby beach in the evening and had a walk to sugarloaf lighthouse during sunrise. The deck in the house has an amazing lake view from where we watched sunrise. The house is perfect, it’s clean, modern with a touch of farmhouse vibe, had lots of indoor games to keep us busy. Richard and Jane are wonderful host with prompt response and very warm. It felt like home.

The house was absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location, just like the photos. The place was well equipped with most amenities, and very clean. We had a fantastic time on the lake with the kayaks provided. Our only issue was with the air conditioning as there is only one AC unit in the living room. We had a hard time staying cool as it is also the middle of summer. Overall we throughly enjoyed staying at the property and would love to visit again a different time of year.
